During a remodel, we had to move an air intake and 3 vents. Contractors put them up in the attic and sheet-rocked. They didn't move them, nor would they. We were desperate to get that air intake re-installed. Our other two small intakes were not enough and the system was being severely taxed. I called so many companies and was told time and again that they wouldn't move duct-work. They would only work on existing systems. In desperation, I posted on Nexdoor.com and asked neighbors who they thought could do this type of work. I got a response and called immediately. Immediately happened to be at about 6PM on Friday. They answered and said that they were super busy, but would call me Monday to see what we could work out. We were on a short deadline for other reasons as well. I was waking up at night worried we'd blow our entire system. Ian came by first thing Monday morning. They gave us a quote, and said they'd get started right away. A couple hours later, they were done. They, possibly, aren't the cheapest, but I liked and trusted them. I have already passed on their information to several friends and will use them again when/if the need arises. We are super relieved and pleased with the work and the way in which we were treated! read more

Our Carrier A/C unit stop working about a month ago at the beginning of the summer. I called around for service had some other company come out only for them to charge me $150 and tell me the coils were no good then wanting another $1100 just for labor to repair (since the unit was under warranty). After calling around I came across Integrity Mechanical via a referral from one of the companies I had called. Ian answered and discussed the ac issue with me in length describing what can cause it and was extremely honest about the whole situation. I even asked him "Will bi-yearly maintenance resolve any future problems?" He responded "Don't waste your money!" We need more family run companies like this one in this world! I have already told several people in the area to use them. Jason quoted me an amazing price of $450 plus the cost of coolant. Since I had to leave town the same day I called my wife was there during the repair. She told me that Ian checked everything to make sure it was working and showed her what she would need to do. Integrity Mechanical are not only reasonably price they do thorough work, are honest and very knowledgeable! Thank you again Ian and Jason for the awesome job! read more

We needed a new AC unit and got several bids, including from Integrity Mechanical. Their rep (Ian) sized up our situation, listened to us (that's important!), explained the in's and out's of different options, and didn't try to sell us anything outlandishly expensive or ill-suited to our needs. Indeed, their price was very reasonable. So we went with Integrity. The install went really well. Polite, efficient installers, with follow-up by the company to make sure everything was OK. About two months later there was a minor problem and we called the company. This was 4 o'clock on a Friday afternoon. Almost immediately Ian drove to our house and dealt with the issue (which had nothing to do with the unit ... it was more of a "customer malfunction"), and checked out everything else before leaving. Service doesn't get any better than that. We've dealt with several HVAC outfits in the Austin area and Integrity Mechanical is by far the best ... Highly competent, customer-oriented, affordable. read more

We've been in this house for the past 9 years and have had several issues with our air conditioning unit. We originally used a "big named" company recommended by our builder for the first time our AC went out, as our home was a new build, and I was extremely unimpressed with their service, their technician, and their constant need to try to upsell a new system to us. When our AC went out the second time, two years later, I refused to call the "big named" company and called Integrity Mechanical based on a recommendation from a neighbor. I was absolutely blown away by them. Integrity Mechanical doesn't know the meaning of BS. They are prompt, courteous, honest and are willing to explain things to a layman like myself exactly what they are doing and why. Ethical is something that they strive for and accomplish without even trying. My husband and I definitely recommend them for all you AC and heating needs. read more

As you probably already know, central Texas summers are not typically mild. The are as HOT as you know what! So when your AC doesn't work, it is an emergency! Ian with Integrity Mechanical has saved the day for me on multiple occasions! Having over a decade-long career in the service/construction industry myself, I've been around a lot of contractors. To be completely honest, there are quite a few that I wouldn't want to come near my house! When I first met Ian, I felt confident that I was speaking a true professional, who takes pride in his work! I have been using them for years, and every time I need them, Integrity Mechanical is right there to help save the day! They are quick to respond, diagnose, and repair the issue, and charge a fair price as well! If you need an HVAC technician, choose one with INTEGRITY! read more

We urgently needed to get the AC working better to keep our dad safe during this heatwave. We initially called Fontaine, but they were booked until 6 and referred us to Integrity Mechanical, saying they'd be faster and were good, trustworthy people. Alan from Integrity made a long drive to get here and help us out before the afternoon heat kicked in, and it really means the world to us. He did great, fast work, gave us a realistic idea of what we could expect from our ancient unit, and passed on a bunch of incredibly useful advice for keeping the temperature down inside even with an old AC. Most importantly, it's safe and comfortable for my dad again. :) Affordable, honest, and kind. Highly recommend these folks! read more

It's never good when your A/C stops working on a Friday. The first company we called refused to recommend any solution other than completely replacing both the indoor AND outdoor units (and this was before they had even seen the outdoor unit!). Ian was at our door within half an hour to provide a much needed second opinion. He checked out every aspect of the units both inside and out, and assured us that the first company was full of crap - we didn't need to replace a thing. Some wires had merely melted and tripped the breaker, and once those were replaced, the unit was working perfectly. Like he said - integrity is in the name for a reason. We will be calling Ian at Integrity Mechanical first from now on. read more

I called Integrity Mechanical as a second opinion of a very high estimate from another A/C company. (the first company also had high ratings on yelp) I spoke with Jason and he also thought the quote sounded very high. So Integrity Mechanical promptly came out and fixed the REAL issues with upgraded parts. The bill was $1000 less than the quote from the first company! These guys are prompt, polite, work fast, and they are honest! This is a high quality company that lives up to its name, and when you call, you speak to a knowledgeable person from the beginning. The moral of the story is that yelp ratings are not always dependable, because most of us don't know what we don't know. read more

Our AC had been performing poorly for a week and we were concerned it was about to die on us. We called several places at 9pm on a Thursday (our only freetime) and Jason picked up. We told him what was going on and he was able to walk us through several possible causes - their solutions and costs - on the phone. Prices were reasonable so we made an appt. for the next day. Jason was easy to talk with, informative and very friendly. He had the issue assessed in 20 minutes and our AC was purring in 30. He also gave us excellent advice on care and future AC needs. I would recommend Integrity Mechanical to anyone and will be using them for all our AC concerns. read more

I just had Jason come out and service my AC cause it wasn't cooling. AC went out in the middle of the night. After calling multiple different places, I found him on Yelp. I noticed he had good reviews and I understand why. He was out to my house within 30 minutes of calling him on A Sunday to say the least. He immediately diagnosed the problem, capacitor was out, he also added freon and changed a couple caps. What a difference. He is very reasonable and doesn't over charge and gets right to work. I would recommend him to anyone needing service. Thank you very much, from a happy customer. read more

I had my air conditioner go out while I was gone for about 6 hours. When I got home it was 89 degrees in my house. I called Ian on Sunday and he came out in an hour. Ian with Integrity Mechanical is by far the most honest and professional air conditioning person I have used since I have been in Austin for 10 years. I have found my go to air conditioning person. And now I hope you have too because they give quality service with a fast response time even on a Sunday. Sundays are higher priced but at least they came out. I tried several places and they didn't even return my call. read more

I've been using Integrity for many years now and thankfully haven't had to call them out much - my system is now almost 15 years old. We had a heater unit go out a few weeks ago so I called on a Friday night. They were out the next morning, replaced a bad cap, and had us up and running again in no time. I strongly recommend them because they are good and they are honest. I had a compressor motor go out years ago. Rather than telling me I'd need an entire system replacement like another company did, they were able to replace it under warranty. Go with these guys. read more

These guys are simply terrific, we had used them previously to install our outside units and evaporator coils on our 14 yr old system. Called Integrity this morning for what I thought was an ac problem and Ian made room in his schedule to come out and take a look. Turned out that we didn't have an ac problem at all, just bad thermostat placement from the original installer. Ian adjusted some of the dampers to make it more effective in the warmer ares and walked me through better ways to keep it cool. No charge for the visit even though they could have. Good people. read more

Jason has been keeping up with our AC for over 8 years. At three different homes during that time, we have gotten consistent HONEST help! Luckily, a few of the issues they were able to get warrantied by the manufacture, but those that were not covered, they really worked with us on. When it comes down to it, what we appreciate most is the satisfaction of an honest contractor giving us the situation strait. There are critics out there who will look for anything to challenge that, but in 8 years I think we know them better. Thanks for keeping our house cool! read more

I was referred to Integrity Mechanical by one of the Yelp top 10 A/C repair companies because they could not get to me today and I told them my unit wasn't cooling. Ian was knocking on my door less than an hour later. He promptly diagnosed the problem and gave me an estimate for the bill. He had the parts on his truck and performed the repairs, tested refrigerant level and cleaned the condensor coils in about an hour and the bill came in under his estimate. Ian did a great job and I will use them again should I need A/C repair. read more

I called Ian after hours and he was very helpful. He asked a few questions, listened to the noise my Lennox ac unit was making over speaker and immediately knew what was going on. He gave an estimate of what he thought needed fixed and I gave him some info from my unit. He was out the the next morning with the part and fixed it in under an hour. Losing your ac in the middle of July is not fun, we couldn't be more satisfied with the pricing and job Ian did. For figure HVAC needs I know where I'll go. read more
