Veronica made some suggestions and decided to give them a try . She was point on and they didn't disappoint. Place is right off University and Mills so great location close to ASU and near everything . Clean with a cool vibe. We stopped into this location after visiting the downtown Phoenix location last night (which was a fantastic 5-star experience all around). The cookies here were hard and tasted like they had been reheated. They were kind of flaky instead of chewy and perfectly crisp on the outside. There was only one person working around 6:30pm on a Wednesday, and it took them awhile to greet us at the register. She wasn't friendly nor did she even smile at any point during our interaction. My family I wanted this location because we were in the area and wanted a sweet treat after our early Father's Day dinner. We ordered via Uber for the super six where you could choose five classic cookies and one deluxe cookie of your choice and we also ordered the ice cream sundae with the chocolate chunk cookie as well . We just had to wait a few minutes because the deluxe peanut butter chocolate cookie was still cooking and everything was packaged great . My only suggestion is to make sure that there are more chocolate chips inside of the peanut butter and chocolate deluxe cookie. Is located the downtown Tempe area next to a lot of restaurants and you have to do street parking in order to go as right next-door to Starbucks. These are very "I made at home" cookies, which isnt necessarily a bad thing but I guess when I normally eat cookies at bakeries they tend to be thicker and bigger to match the price you pay. You cant go wrong with a cookie in general so overall it is a good place to pick up if you have a sweet tooth. This specific location is a bit of a pain to get to given they are right in the center of ASU traffic. There is no personal parking lot so you have to park a little down the street to walk over. The closest parking lot belongs to Chuck Box so you can't park there as they have security monitoring their parking lot for their business. Otherwise service is a quick grab and go style. Nothing against raisins- I just don't prefer them in my cookies as much. Insomnia's is a larger cookie, definitely enough to split between two. Perfectly soft & definitely meets the mark of approval. The chocolate mint chip & white chocolate macadamia are my second favorites. These still do remind me of Subway cookies with their consistency & size, the flavor is also similar. They're very good- I just think the price per cookie is too steep for the smaller variety. It's a treat, but I wouldn't indulge often with how expensive they are. Finally, I tried the confetti cookie. Which is basically a birthday cake batter cookie with candy sprinkles & white chocolate chips. One of the larger options, so it's more expensive. It was good, but just a bit much for my taste. Another one that can be split easily between two. Much happier with this round. My friend brought us these cookies when she was in the area. She got us the Double Chocolate Chunk ($1.75), the Salted Caramel ($3.25), and the S'mores ($3.25). And wow were these cookies delicious!!! My friend said they were freshly made when she bought them. These cookies were awesome. They're the kind that are nice and crunchy on the edge and soft and chewy in the center, which is my preference for cookies. The Double Chocolate Chunk was deliciously chocolatey. The Salted Caramel was not overly salty and super delicious. It was one of the deluxe cookies and I can definitely see why. It was everything I imagined a Salted Caramel cookie to be and more. It wasn't overly sweet and perfectly rich. If you're a fan of salted caramel or just plain caramel, this is a must try. My favorite cookie of all was the S'mores cookie. When we were breaking it apart, we can see the stretch from the marshmallows and cookie. Definitely a sight to behold! I ordered the deluxe set of six cookies, a container of milk and vanilla's ice cream from them through Door Dash. I did not receive the ice cream. Usually, when an item is missing, it is a simple matter of just getting a refund for that missing item. However, insomnia cookies do things "their own way." The shop is small, so the sign on the door asked to have only a few people inside at a time. I just ordered cookies, so the staff was nice and quick.
