We obtained multiple bids and selected this company due to Reyes's professionalism, knowledge and being very detailed. Of all the bids, Reyes was the only one to provide a detailed quote with line items and their associated cost. The other bids, some where a bit lower, provided no details just a lump some for one line item. These type of quotes will usually end uo costing more because it is easy for the contractor to say, it is not included or create tension because disagreements due to the lack of detail. The tile work itself was great, clean and great quality. Julio the installer was very professional and patient as we tended to ask a lot of questions along the process. On multiple occassions he asked if this is the way we wanted things done before he actually set the tile :-) There is nothing more frustrating then someone doing work without asking how you want it, all to have a customer be unhappy and having to do it again. Julio is also very experienced in his work so he was able to provide great suggestions.

To be transparent, our experience was a mix of highs and a few frustrations. What could've been better * He typically arrived at 9:30/10am * He didn't always stay until 5pm * The project did not finish within the original estimated timeline What we loved * The workmanship was exceptional * His experience and expertise clearly showed * He stood by his work and came back after completion to address any issues * Most importantly -- we're extremely happy with the final result Jake is not your typical contractor. He doesn't rush, which can be tough if you're on a strict deadline -- but it's a huge advantage if you care about the details and want things done the right way. He's honest, direct, and gives you his real opinion, which we appreciated. The main reason we hired him was because of his creative, artistic perspective, and that ended up being the biggest difference-maker. These fireplaces weren't simple projects -- the micro-cement finish required someone with skill beyond a cookie-cutter approach, and Jake delivered. Everything came out clean, modern, and exactly the look we were going for (I attached a picture of the fireplace in our master bedroom). He also went above and beyond by helping with things outside of basic fireplace work, including mounting our 85" TV, doing electrical work to hide cords, and hanging the mantel, which we really appreciated. If you need a job done fast, I'd recommend going with someone else. But if you want high-quality work, a creative eye, attention to detail, and someone who will stay within budget and stand behind their work, The Darling Flooring is absolutely the way to go. Thank you, Jake!

We were updating our backyard and had hired a concrete contractor referred by a friend for the…read moreproject. After the concrete cured, I noticed several areas that looked uneven and poorly finished. I was told it just needed more time to dry, but even a year later it still looked bad and continued to bother me. I decided to get this fixed. After reaching out to a few companies, I found New Polish CS through Yelp. George showed up right on time for our appointment, was friendly, professional, and provided a very reasonable quote for the amount of work involved. We ultimately decided to grind down the existing surface and do a full concrete overlay to create a more uniform finish. From the beginning, George was incredibly thorough and customer-focused. He provided multiple stain samples to choose from and walked me through every decision, from the texture to the final sealer. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the quality of their work and their customers' satisfaction, but George is one of those people. His crew worked hard and paid close attention to detail. Because the backyard was still drying when the project was completed, I wasn't able to do a final inspection right away. A few days later, I noticed a couple of minor issues and called George. Without hesitation, he came back and took care of everything. The difference is literally night and day. Our backyard looks so much better, and I'm very happy with the final result. I would absolutely recommend George and New Polish CS!

The porch had old, failing paint, and we needed a solution that looked good and was non-slip. After going over our options, we chose a simple grind to remove the old coating, followed by a non-slip paint application. If you're here then you are just like me, wondering if this review is a "bot" or purchased or…read morerepeated under several names. It's none of those and just like you I wanted to fix up my house with an improvement to my kitchen with some random picture I found on IG. I contacted several people; one company from Angie gave me some ridiculous $8k-$10k estimate based on a picture I sent (no measuring or on-site job walk). The other was Falcone who gave me an appointment time and never showed up. It got frustrating but I kept at it and saw all these reviews for Jayrock Tile. Jason from Jayrock Tile showed up early and I showed him my IG photo telling him, "I really want this". He helped me so much with educating me on what I now call "Tile 101". I learned a great deal, and I made a few changes with the new knowledge he helped me with. His crew arrived early and I already knew it was the beginning of what turned out to be the best decision I've made for my home improvement. The Jayrock Tile crew walked in, they set up outside and just began what looked like a focused nonstop task of knocking out my kitchen. I walked by to peak each time, and the two-man crew were just moving! In the few seconds I saw them go from left to right then inside & out. I know nothing of tile work, but I can tell you that they didn't skip a beat and were making progress each time I looked in to see how it was looking. I was rather impressed at their progress and speed. I heard the saw constantly cutting away at the tile and never realized how much was required to make each piece fit. I knew the picture I had showed a much larger backsplash and kept thinking "did I make a mistake", "will it even look the same"... After they finished, I walked in and saw my kitchen. It was beyond what I expected, and I couldn't stop thanking his crew. It's wild that I saw a picture, asked if it could be done and now, I have that same design in my house too! Sadly, I see other reviews here about "horrible customer service" and I wasn't there so I don't know why that encounter ended up that way? What I can tell you about my experience is that Jason is a super cool dude that's down to earth. He helped me with what I wanted and gave me so much information to make what I wanted look amazing. His crew which sadly I never got their names because they were just "Hi" and straight to work!! Those two guys were awesome!!! I am beyond happy with how everything turned out! I've heard of some companies where not everything turns out as great. I can tell you that the quotation was perfect and within my budget. The crew was amazing, they didn't break anything, they were professional (I have toddlers), and they did the most amazing level of work in my home. I hope that you find this review helpful and please know that its real, not paid for (I wish they paid me) or from some AI robot nonsense.
