Douglas did an amazing job on my 16 year old walk in shower and brought it back to life. I had mildew/mold growing on the rim of my shower and I couldn't remove it for anything! I bought so many products and received so many quotes from businesses that stated I had to replace the whole shower since it was so old. Douglas told me he could get rid of it and he sure did! I reached out on Thursday with the issue in my rental property. My fiberglass drop in tub had a crack in addition to chipping on the bottom. Douglas answered right away and by only a voice explanation he was able to provide an estimate and a date to complete the repairs. By Saturday morning in a matter of 3hrs of work the job was completed. The cracks were filled and the base of the tub was resurfaced. So it was an all day job, but a 100% positive experience. I started by asking for a quote for my two bathrooms on Yelp. Douglas immediately responded. My tub and my shower pan were both in horrible shape. I mean they should not have been used anymore but how do you tell a whole house full of people to stop using the shower? I cringed at the thought of ripping out one-piece tub and shower surrounds and replacing with multi-pieces and having the floor and drywall repairs that would accompany that. I admit I was skeptical that repairs could be done at a fraction of the cost of replacing, but Douglas seemed confident that my situation was repairable so I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did. Fernando came in to assess and then took $100 off of my quote because the repair would require less materials than expected. As I mentioned, it was an all-day job. It is also a stinky job, as there are strong chemical fumes involved, but they cleared out after a few hours. Douglas came by at about the mid-point to check on Fernando's work. When Fernando was finished the tub and shower looked brand new! I'm no longer afraid of causing water damage from taking a bath or shower. Another awesome feature is that they guarantee their work, so I know I've got at least as much time as their warranty covers to save up for an eventual bath renovation. When I first spoke to Douglas he was very responsive and because of his great reviews we decided to have our kitchen countertops and sink reglaze by him. His quote was $1000 for the countertops and $275 for the sink. He started with the countertops and they looked great so I paid him the money and he said he'd come back the next day for the sink. That night I was cleaning everything up in the kitchen and started noticing all of the paint damage that was done as a result of his prepping. Under the cabinets and on the ceiling specifically. I had to spend 2 hours repainting my kitchen. The next day when he arrived for the sink I told him I wanted the sink collars to be removed and replaced but he said he wasn't able to get them out so he reglazed around them. The result was terrible. The glaze never dried, then it peeled and the chemical smell was awful. I later found out it was the result from not removing the collars. He said he would come back to reglaze the sink again but I needed to hire a handyman to take out the collars first. I did so at a cost of $150 to remove the collars and then come back later and replace them after the sink was finished. Douglas redid the glaze and said it needed to cure for 3 days. When he sent me the invoice I said that I'd like to deduct the extra $150 from his quote of $275 that I had to pay the handyman for his mistake. He was short with me and said don't worry about it, it's fine and he hung up the phone. I paid him nothing for the sink but I was willing to give him the difference of $125. We then went on vacation so it cured for 5 days and when we came back the glaze was full of bubbles. I texted and called Douglas but he has ghosted me ever since. Very unprofessional and very disappointing. I've since noticed that the countertop glaze is not smooth as well but instead has gritty pieces throughout. I learned this by wiping them down and nicking my finger. Please don't waste your money because if you do, there's a good chance you'll have to pay twice for the work to be fixed by someone else. read more

We purchased a home in Canyon Lake in May of 2022. It needed a ton of work, we knew this going in. For me, everything was fixable and I could see the possibilities of our new home after some improvements.
