I just had a 50 year old coffee table refurbished that was my parent's years ago. It was hand carved and had many years of "children" and "grandchildren's" wear and tear. Not only did he restore it to its original color and beauty, he also raised it by 2" by putting a solid oak shim on top of the base, underneath the round table itself. I had always thought the table was a little too low and he fixed it perfectly! He not only picked up the table from my home in Rancho Cucamonga, he delivered it when he was finished. I even got a call to come and approve the stain and finish once he had stripped the table, before he completed that final step. The entire process took less than two weeks. I could not be happier!
