we have two identical 20yo custom sofas that the thin fabric was ripped and falling apart. In order to host a 40-person party in 2 months. Oscar responded with clear and reasonable quotes and a 5-wk process time. sofas were picked up as scheduled. since we're trying to save some $ and matching the seat cushion, there were not too many choices of fabric to choose from. and It was hard/expensive to find trims that matched original design of the sofa. Oscar's staff explained and talked me into just doing simple piping along the base and around all the pillows. the day before delivery I called to confirm (I was really worried they won't make it for my party scheduled day after delivery), then again the morning of delivery and late afternoon. they finally delivered around 5pm on delivery day, 2hrs after their closing time. the sofas looked really nice and the simple piping actually enhanced the seat cushions. we really like it. Oscar was very responsive via text. the staffs were all very helpful throughout the process. The cost seemed reasonable so I made an appointment to choose a new fabric and spent a hour looking through many choices before making my selection. I chose a sturdy blue print fabric and it was not cheap. I also brought a cushion cover for another chair that needed new foam insert. After collecting dust in storage for more than ten years, the old chaise lounge my mom gave me was really out of shape: it was dirty, the cushion was torn up, and the backing had an indentation from another piece of furniture setting on top of it. I recently learned about this place, after having learned one of life's painful truths: Never get a couch with chenille fabric if you have pets. If you do, you'll end up with a $1,500 padded lint brush. And that's all that I have to say about that. Oscar's does amazing work and has a great selection of fabrics to choose from.
