He gave me the same excuses when he didn't show up just like some of the reviews. Oh and he is always asking for money every day that he showed up instead of waiting till finished like agreed upon, again my fault big red flag. Recommending if you hire him, don't pay anything more than the initial deposit until finished and you have had a day to review and check the work. After our first time using our newly tiled shower we noticed water puddling and not properly draining. We contacted Albert to come and fix it and he no call no showed on us 4 times. He finally showed up the 5th time and retiled an area to attempt to fix the issue. Sure enough the next time we used the shower the puddle was even bigger. We reached out to Albert again and after apologizing multiple times and saying he would come fix the shower floor he no call no showed on us several times again. He never came to fix it. He is very unreliable, fails to communicate, and comes up with many excuses. He has wasted a lot of our time and we do not recommend him. read more

I found Junior through an Offer Up ad. He came out and gave me a quote at the time he said he would be there. The quote was for a bathroom shower remodel. He required a deposit I felt was reasonable. After that he was all bad. His first day he showed at the job at about 11am and was there only a couple hours. He did not seem to know what he was ever doing and looked confused most of the time. His work was messy and very unprofessional. I wish I could show pictures of how he prepped the wall for tile. He tiles one side of the wall and then never returns. I text him every day and each time he had an excuse. He told me his car got broken into and his tools were stolen. He told me his daughter was in a accident. I had to call other contractors to finish the job. They all said the job was not done right. And only one of the contractors was willing to take on the job. All of the work Junior did had to be demoed and redone. DO NOT HIRE JUNIOR HE IS A SCAMMER AND WILL NOT DO THE JOB RIGHT. I would not recommend Jr's tiling. The work shows for itself. Tiles are crooked in shower, grout lines are uneven and speak for poor craftsmanship. Shower curb was not level, tiles on floor were crunching and coming up in less than a month. Grout on floor chipped away so I doubt the tile was buttered correctly underneath. The tiles near window sloped down towards the window and we're not made level. The tile installer had to be prompted to actually hardiback and seal it before proceeding with install. Picture shows tile adhesive ready to go with no waterproof in place. The whole shower was not completely sealed and waterproofed prior to install, just sections. A large gap was left at the top of tile and chunks were missing from demo and not repaired. Project was turned over with "Just have a drywall guy come and repair the rest". Icing on the cake is the floor was so bad another company had to come and demo the floor. They noticed the tile was tiled right over linoleum underlayment and not to the subfloor. Good thing they decided to pull up the linoleum because underneath was mold. I would have never known unless a team came in to perform the job correctly. read more

Jr remodeled 2 of our bathrooms starting in September of 2022 and both bathrooms remain unfinished. One bath still needs the plumbing covered and the other bathroom Jr did not finish the tile work on the fireplace or the shiplap his worker said he could install and the tub is not sealed to the floor nor is the grout sealed. Unfortunately this worker quite on him so Jr told me he would refund me some of the money I had paid him to have someone else finish the shiplap, he never refunded me any money. I paid him to tile the fireplace in my bedroom and put in an electrical outlet in the bathroom totaling $1050; he never returned to do this work and does not respond. Fortunately I have family that came in to finish the work. I texted Jr. in March still no response and I texted him again in April telling him to pay my family for the work he did not finish. I'm so frustrated with his communication skills or lack thereof. Lastly he reinstalled my vanity in the bathroom but only one sink has full water the other just dribbles which means he didn't install something correctly. read more
