Let me preface this review first with, I have purchased many electronics previously from this exact…read morelocation since it opened. I like that they switched to a no commission based sales model years ago and why I shop here. This most recent purchase of a laptop had less than stellar service experience and left much to be desired. I was upsold for an upgraded computer model, a credit card, and membership without real explanations other than I was getting a deal. The manager Raymond called me within a day without hesitation when I sent in my follow-up feedback response. He assured me this is not the type of business he runs and nor appropriate behavior of his associates. He went above and beyond and proved that this location strives for the highest integrity. They truly value the customers that take the time to shop in person in a world of online sales. He had Angel assist me in correcting the sales reps misstep, who wasn't even this locations employee but a fill in a from another store and just assisting for a day. Angel was also top notch. I will continue to refer people to this location as well as Best Buy based on how this situation was rectified leaving me feeling good as I walked away this time as I have in all previous interactions before this.

Does Best Buy train these young men on customer service????? Hey, a smile goes a long way!!!!…read more I went in a few minutes ago, returned two screens and a charging hub and instead I bought one large smart screen which costs more than the 3 items I returned. This young man who was "helping" me behaved in a manner as if I was bothering him and keeping him from his real job by huffing and puffing and sighing. He was not even aware of his bad attitude!!! Deary, this is not Highschool and I am not one your high school teenage buddies. I AM A CUSTOMER WHO IS GIVING BUSINESS TO THIS PLACE WHICH IN TURN PAYS YOU FOR HELPING US THE CUSTOMERS BUY WHAT WE NEED!!! Check your rude and impatient attitude and leave it outside the doors to the store. Once you walk past the entrance you have to be patient and not huff and puff when you are asked a question. PERIOD. If you were working for me you'd be kicked out on your butt in the street in a quick second. Thankfully, as I was walking out of the store, Stephen, the example of an elite and perfect retail salesperson approached me and asked me if I needed help with taking the large box to my car. Wow! This was a a huge surprise and I did tell him how I had been made to feel by the other git who pretended to help me and expressed my sincere thanks to him for doing an excellent job! By the way two weeks ago when I bought the two screens and the hub, the guy who helped me was also impatient and rude. This place needs some serious customer service training.

The Audio Nerd is one of the best record stores I've been to. Not it's a bit of a drive from me and…read moreso I can never visit as often as I'd like to, but I have never had a bad experience. The owner is very passionate about music and you can tell it from talking to him. He is friendly, was chatting with all the different customers about what they picked, and even gives good suggestions! I bought a record from a band I had never heard of before (Fox Medicine). They were in the metal section but it was cute and bright pink. I looked them up quickly and listened to a couple songs and told myself I had to get that record. The owner was chatting with me about if I liked them or not and I was honest about literally just discovering them. He gave me one of their posters free of charge! They had just performed at his store and so he had a few left. I didn't realize he was giving it to me until we were leaving, I thought he was just showing me the poster. That absolutely made my day once I realized he was just giving it to me. The variety in this store is amazing with loads of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and even music equipment! Prices are very fair, and everything is properly labeled. Instead of me having to get my hopes up inspect the record, the front usually says the condition, pressing, if it's colored, etc. I don't have to waste my time inspecting it myself, as the staff has already done the leg work. They even have a bargain bin (wall) with great deals! Down on the floor was a box that had cheap project vinyl too. When I worked at a record store I remember teachers coming in looking for the cheapest ones they could find for a various lessons they had coming up. I'm glad The Audio Nerd has a box for people like them. The store is a little bit cramped with how small it is and with how much product they carry, but it is such a gem and so fun to flip through. You can spend an hour or two easily in there despite it being a small store. Live shows even happen here! They move some of the tables out and put a band in there. Shout out Hayden for always promoting upcoming shows there! And as if this place couldn't get any cooler, they also do punch cards too... Who has ever heard of a record store doing a punch card before? Absolutely amazing. If you are looking for a cool new record store, The Audio Nerd is a great place to check out.

went into the store looking for a laptop and monitor not knowing exactly what i needed and wanted…read morein a personal laptop, Peyton J came over to help and let me start by saying he is super knowledgeable and was super cool to work with! He got me dialed in with the monitor, docking station, keyboard, and mouse! The laptop I ended up with first, which i chose after he gave me the run down on what the speeds and memory and all that stuff meant i took it all home and got it fired up and used it for a few weeks and the laptop speeds just werent cuting it for what im doing with it. i took it back in there and he took a look at it and informed me that the laptop i ended up with just couldnt handle all the things i wanted to run at the same time! no fear he and the manager on shift that day got me taken care of and swapped me out for a faster better running laptop and i couldnt be happier with my new laptop and will deffiently be back and only want to deal with Peyton!

Selling You Unusable Phones Owned by Deadbeats…read more Best Buy sold me an iPhone represented as "unlocked" that T-Mobile ultimately determined had a **nonpayment block on its IMEI**, making it impossible to activate. In other words, Best Buy sold me a phone that someone else apparently stopped paying for--and I was left holding the unusable device. It's like selling someone a car with a boot on it. I spent three days without a working phone, lost two workdays, and spent hours and hours dealing with T-Mobile and Best Buy trying to transfer an eSIM that was never going to work because the problem was the phone itself. Best Buy acknowledged the problem. Alexis initially seemed prepared to help, but when manager Willie became involved, we went around and around "corporate doesn't allow me to do that". "You have to buy something else in order for me to give you some sort of discount on the. new phone" they were trying to sell me. The solution offered after all of this was essentially a $15 phone case and to pay $10 for a screenprotector that is normally 29.99. Meaning, I get screwed and get $5 bucks for it and a "new" phone with a worse camera that can't charge on a docking port without that cheapo case anyway. The bigger issue is this: **Why is Best Buy selling phones that are technically "unlocked" but have financial blocks that make them unusable?** And why isn't this identified before the phone is sold? I had no reason to know that "unlocked" does not necessarily mean "eligible to be activated." Best Buy should have a system to protect customers from exactly this situation. I lost an enormous amount of time and money because of a problem that was not mine. A $15 case is not an appropriate response. Unlocked does to mean usable.
