This shop was awesome! They took so much time to walk me through the entire 3D printing process and explain how everything works. Instead of just trying to sell me something, they genuinely wanted to teach me and answer all of my questions. They showed me a variety of projects they had printed, explained the different materials, print settings, and what each printer was best suited for. Seeing all of the finished projects in person was inspiring and gave me a much better understanding of what 3D printing can do. Their passion for what they do really shows. They were friendly, informative, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Just picked up my new computer. Very disappointed! First of all, there is no disc drive to put my CD's into! When I called them about it, they insinuated that it was my fault for not asking for one, and no mention was made to remedy the problem. That has never happened before. I've always gotten a disc drive in my computers. They even asked me to bring in my CD disc for my card program, so they knew I needed one. Now I have no place to put my CD's that I use for cards, photos. etc. I have used them for more than 15 years and have always gotten quality computers and work. I think they have become too busy, so customer service has gone by the wayside. I have always recommended them to others, but I won't recommend them in the future. read more

I don't exactly live close, but I was told this place was good. I had to get my laptop screen fixed fast, and they told me a deadline which was just in time for when I needed it. They were fully aware of how important it was that I had by the said date. I called the day they promised it would be ready, twice the next day, and finally my boyfriend had to call and ask them what's going on to get any response. They were three days late and when we went it to pick it up and pay the remaining balance they said "don't worry about it." I assumed they realized their mistake. I then started receiving multiple phone calls a day to come in and pay, when they already told my boyfriend and I both not to worry about it! Paying wasn't the biggest issue, the way they handled it was. I have a busy schedule and live 45 minutes down the hill. I told them I would come in when I was in town and they weren't closed. (They have AWFUL hours). Instead they started calling my boyfriend and pestering him to come pay! The remaining fee that was owed was the cost of labor.. Over $100! Little did I realize two days after picking it up.. My laptop screen was COMING OFF. They had installed it wrong!! So I had to go back and have them fix it AGAIN. I refuse to step foot in there ever again. They couldn't even guarantee the glue would hold and said to come back when it comes off... UHH NO THANKS!!!!! Chris and Justin are the only names I remember after all the multiple phone calls and voicemails they left me. Don't trust them with your electronics!!! read more

Took our grandson's laptop in for a virus cleaning. We were told it would take 1 or 2 days. After the second day, we phoned and was told our laptop was next on the work list. After 5 days we picked it up, untouched. Staff was indifferent almost to the point of rude. Called Computer Guy, who cleaned the laptop in 24 hours. Was surprised by everything in here. Computers take up about half, but there is car audio, 2-way radios, soldering supplies and a bunch of remote control cars, trucks and a few boats and planes. There are also batteries and accessories for the rc stuff. The solder and stuff is for electronics, like small gauge wire and solder wick. Happy to have a local place to grab this stuff. read more

I like it when I walk into a place, have a few minutes to try to find what I need and about the time I recognize that I probably should save myself the trouble, a nice gentleman asks if he can help me with anything. Towered a bit over me, but incredibly pleasant! Told him what I needed, a simple audio hook up, and he walked me over to where it was, picked them out for me after a few clarifying questions, and voila! I was done. How's that for efficiency? I noticed that the building was new and it seemed pretty well organized. I liked the small town demeanor of the place, a pleasant change from Fry's Electronics. Clearly they've been in business a long time with the same employees. The only thing that wasn't really so great was they only have one cashier terminal. Maybe that's OK if they don't get busy but the folks in front of me were buying a computer and I just had these two little pieces. I had to wait much longer than I felt I should have. I did get a few apologies for the wait, so maybe they're working on fixing that. read more

I am self employed. This is the second time I've used Bybee Computers and will continue to go back. First issue I had was software related. I use a POP email and Outlook. I was having an issue with 1000s of emails duplicating. Microsoft's solution is to remove the emails from my POP server. I believe I should be able to keep them there as a type of back up and not have them duplicate into my Outlook. Justin made a suggestion for a work around. The issue wasn't fully resolved because the problem is my desire to have two independent software systems work the way I (the user) want them to instead of how they actually do (user expectations unrealistic). The solution/work around Justin came up with is acceptable. Most recently, my laptop screen stopped working. I purchased and used an external screen but it is inconvenient when I just want to take my laptop home. Justin indicated it could be as simple as a harness change or it could be a more expensive issue. We started with the cheaper option first and the problem was resolved. The best part of the service is the fact that I did not turn over my computer until after the part had arrived from being ordered and he was able to FIX IT THE SAME DAY!!!! When you are the sole employee and rely upon your computer, this service is invaluable. I strongly recommend Justin. I believe he provides quality service at a reasonable price and that he is knowledgeable about both hardware and software. read more

I called Bliss with a quick and simple question regarding my email account. The lady seemed very helpful and asked me to call her back in a few minutes as she attempted to recover my lost emails and straighten my account. I called back, a man answered, I told him my reason for calling, that I was asked to call back in 5 minutes. He said she had to take her car in for repair and the issue cannot be resolved. The emails are gone and cannot be recovered. Ok fine, but twice I tried to say something and he kept talking over me saying they're gone .... ok, they can't be recovered .... ok, thank you for calling. I was trying to ask if I could bring my laptop in to they're shop to get a few things looked at and they'd make a few bucks .... ok! He never gave me a chance. I had power supply issues with my computer so i went to Bliss to buy a new one. Justin helped me find a new one. It was reasonbly priced ( maybe coulda saved a buck or 2 going to best buy but then woulda had to drive to folsom). Not being very computer savvy I hooked up the new power supply wrong and was getting an error message. I took the computer in and again Justin was the one who helped me. He looked at it within 5 minutes and found that i had made an error with the connections and corrected it for me free of charge. Now that's great customer service. I would not recommend going to Bliss Electronics in Diamond Springs. I had the worst encounter there. I brought my laptop in to get serviced and immediately the owner told me "I don't touch fruit" implying he refuses to work on Apple products because he had a bad experience working with them. Well okay but I don't work for Apple and I would be paying you for your service to which he replied, "my business is doing just fine." Good luck with your business with that horrible customer service! I get businesses can choose what products they service and would have potentially returned with other needs if it wasn't for the way I was treated. The most annoying part was that I had called earlier to see if I needed an appointment to get my MACBOOK looked at and at that time he never said anything about refusing Apple products. So I plan my whole day around it and drag in my kids to be rudely turned away. Stay away from here if you can!!! I would give negative stars if I could. Also after I shared my experience with others, I learned of several other people who have had similar or worse encounters with the owner. read more

Justin is amazing! My LG G4 phone crashed after 11 months and wouldn't go past the "Life is Good" screen. Life is not so good when you don't back up your pictures and they are stuck in a phone! Verizon said there was no hope to get my pictures and LG didn't care. Other data recovery places said they probably couldn't get my pictures back from the LG phone defect that I had. Guess what, Justin recovered 3000+ pictures and my contacts! Great customer service too, he even researched the problem with my phone before I got there! I owe him so much, he was able to give me back the memories that I thought were forever lost. What a great guy! All my electronics will be headed to Justin if ever needed. I had a computer hard drive crash so I took it here. When they told me the hard drive had crashed (the same thing I told them when I brought it in) they gave me a price to replace it. I asked how much it would be to upgrade to a solid state drive I was told it would be expensive. I asked for a price anyway (The tech sounded annoyed at the idea) and I asked about recovering the data on the drive. I was told they had some very sophisticated software and would see what they could get off it. When they called back the price for the hard drive upgrade was not that much more. But they had to order it. I asked about the data recovery again and was told they would call me back. The next day they called to tell me the computer was up and running. Again I asked about the data and they had to call me back. When they called me back I was told the drive was dead and they could not recover any data. When I got the computer back I plugged it in and found windows needed to update. 6 hours of updates. I would think this should have been done at the store. When I checked in to the data recovery the first program I found on CNET let me recover all the files. $40 I paid and found all my files were there. read more

Yes, they might be a little ecentric and have their own way of doing things, but they get the job done! Had a computer built here when my mail order name brand died, along with it's customer service. Bliss did a great job of helping me figure out exactly what I needed, and did not need, with no high pressure sales tactics. They built the computer quickly and correctly. Five years later the fan went out (due to not being cleaned by me). They fixed it quickly and at a reasonable price. Missing the fifth star as their "bedside manor" is lacking. I would recomend them for all your computer needs (except apple evidently) if you can do business without being sucked up to. read more
