Super organized, well staffed, always answer the phone and super knowledgeable. Special thanks to Jim in lighting!

One of the good ones. Most staff are polite and very helpful. But the cashier Ryle is outright rude. She seems very unhappy in her job and gives the store a bad vibe. Don't not like your job? Go somewhere else. read more

I just discovered ACE when I went in to purchase dirt that was on sale. I absolutely love this hardware store. There is a little bit of everything here from nuts and bolts ,garden supplies, housewares, BBQ items. soap and lotion and the best beef jerky. Everyone in the store is super helpful and they are definitely a community based retailer. The APP is a great tool but sometimes I like to go in and just wander around. Great customer service. read more

This store is great, I've never had a bad Ace Hardware experience at this location or any other location. The service is how it should be, and their hardware department is absolutely wonderful read more

Xlnt personal service. Good selection of equipment, parts, hardware, electrical, yard , etc.

Each Ace Hardware is owned by a person who needs a fat profit margin so they always cost more than Home Depot but they are convenient so if you're absolutely stuck and you need like one part, maybe go to Ace otherwise make the extra drive and save the money read more

Large store with GR8 customer service! Went in looking for a particular item and staff made my trip brief and efficient by directing where the item was. read more

Great helpful staff and a nice range of products for our home projects. I have been shopping there for ten years..

Very good selection for a small store. Prices are generally higher than Home Depot or Lowes but the drive is much shorter. For buying a lot of items they do a better job than the big stores. Like fasteners and similar - you can buy them individually and the selection is actually better than the big stores. We just bought an electric chainsaw on sale and they were the cheapest. The staff is very helpful and you don't have to look around for 15 minutes. read more

My favorite I love the help I get. Great place to find unique gifts along with all the necessities .

Helpful knowledgeable employees are the base of this well stocked clean and organized hardware store.

The employees at Ace Hardware are always friendly and helpful. I have been to many locations and I am always greeted and someone offers to help me find what I am looking for. It is rare these days to get the great customer service Ace Hardware provided. They are my go to place and I appreciate the newer locations. I have been to Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills and Granite Bay. I have always been treated respectful and I always get great customer service. read more

The employees especially, Layne. Layne is ALWAYS provides excellent customer service care. Very knowledgeable, helpful, positive. Thank you very much for your CARE. You deserve 10 stars reviews and award. read more

My local store. Staff is super helpful/knowledgable (more than the orange store), and they usually have what I need in stock. It's often cheaper to buy from the orange or blue stores, or online. But I will make a point to buy here because neighborhood hardware stores are important. read more

This location 10 miles from my home but was closest one that website showed it had item I wanted in stock. I placed order and got confirmation. Went next day to pick up but was told item was being sent from another store and hadn't arrived yet. Just before I got home got call that item had just arrived. I like to support local businesses but told them - No thanks. Went on line and purchased with free delivery for same price. When I called ACE customer service was told the could not check my order and would have to call .com department. Have Ace store less than a mile from my house and have spent over $900 at that store in first 6 months of this year. Will not shop Ace again. read more

I've never been to a hardware store where people are so willing to help and good at what they do. Greg and Daryl went above and beyond to help me piece together the puzzle I was dealing with. Thank you so much! read more

If I could rate them 6 stars I would. It's the opposite of everything HD stands for. Personal attention, listening to a problem and trying to solve it with you, giving you multiple solutions to try. STAFF STAFF STAFF make a place great. Customer Service. read more

Ace Granite Bay has done great for me lately. Their checkout setup is much better, they have enough staff, and most stuff is in stock when I need it. This is a good store in a great location with good service. read more

I first visited this hardware store in November to buy some magical goo that could remove wallpaper. (I know! Wallpaper!!) The staff was really helpful and what I remember most is that they have a TON of other cool stuff. Lawn décor, holiday décor, anything you could want to make your casa a bit more comfortable. My second trip was just the other day (11 months later) to return the very same items I had purchased....tacky? Perhaps, but I had forgot that I bought these items and upon move out of the "wallpaper house" I had never used them. There they sat unopened and right next to their friend, the receipt. I called the store and a nice gentleman told me "as long as you have the receipt, we will take it back" I know this alone does not a dream store make, BUT I think in this day and age, the small town customer service they gave me was a nice change! Again, on my visit I found a plethora of fun and exciting items. Halloween items on sale, cookware, garden hoses. I will be coming back again for certain items I may have otherwise got at Wal-Mart or the like-things such as topsoil and tools that will bring me in but the service will keep me coming back in! thanks ACE! You are pretty cool. read more

I have had several great experiences with the customer service at this local Ace Hardware store. They really go over and above to make sure that the customer is taken care of. read more

The Ace Hardware is a really friendly shop. Whenever I am there, I am always approached by MULTIPLE employees who are more than happy to show me where all the things I need are located. The store is really neat and orderly. The ladies restroom is clean! However, I have recently discovered that the light bulbs at Lowe's is much much cheaper. We did get a wonderful deal at Aces for an air compressor. Make sure you shop around and get good prices! read more

What can I say other than why would anyone ever go to a big box hardware store when there is an ACE in town? To say I love the ACE in Granite Bay is an understatement. They run a tight ship with among the best customer service I have ever experienced --- anywhere! Initially, I thought the phenomenal service was just by chance, but then I caught the cashier whispering into a headset that a customer was headed over to a specific aisle and to provide assistance. I can find virtually everything I need in a fraction of the time it takes at Home Depot or Lowe's. And in the off chance they don't stock it, they are more than happy to order it for you quickly. The service, attention to detail and value are worth the visit. Do yourself a favor and make a trip to the ACE and discover what you've been missing at Home Depot and Lowe's. read more

They are always so helpful and have a good range of quality products And it's so close! read more

I love this place! When I walk in, the help virtually run up to me and ask if I need anything. Also, the place has a fantastic selection of stuff. I love the nut and bolt section of the store. I highly suggest this store for the novice do-it yourself person. Forget the big box no service hardware stores. This store is the place to go. My only complaint is that the store does not accept a debit card w/out a Visa or MasterCard stamped on the card. read more

Best hardware store ever! Helpful and knowledgeable employees. Small town friendly feel.

Awesome staff that cares! I am so happy to have this hardware store in my area! They are so helpful and knowledgeable! I got help out to my car (un asked) and lots of tip and tricks that helpped me with my project. Everyone was so friendly! We will be back! read more

Very helpful and courteous staff. I love being able to stop in and get just what I need without having to go to a warehouse store.

Although Ace Hardware's are smaller than the big box stores, the customer service cannot be beat! I have always been able to find a representative to answer questions, locate products on shelves or a particular part that is needed. The ladies and gentleman always always offer and insist to load heavy items such as sand, soils or bulky items into our car for me. read more

This is a wonderful hardware store. It is an Ace but had many extras and a lot of cute home decor. They had everything we needed and the employees were happy to help. read more

I love this store. Employees are SO helpful, knowledgeable and kind. I appreciate their expert knowledge as I usually have questions. We go out of our way to support this Ace Hardware due to all the help provided. read more

Service and access to people is about as good as one can get. They have what I am looking for 90% of time and very convenient. I'd rather pay more and be out the door than to have to drive across town to big box stores and have no help. ACE often has what Home Depot and Lowes does not. And vice versa. For unique and small hardware....go to ACE. For big building projects, go to Home Depot,...for Decor go to Lowes. Thanks for all the folks at Granite Bay ACE....they are even better than the other local ACE operators in Roseville, etc. I am sure glad they are just down the road from me. Always a life saver. PS: for specialty plumbing go to EMIGH hardware in Sacto read more

Great store! I was there for 2 minutes and had 3 people ask if I needed help. Someone ran to the front when there were 2 people waiting to check out. They even carried out the bag of potting soil for me. Highly recommend this store! Wish more stores were this good! read more

Just want to give a GIANT shout out to Granite Bay Ace! These people will give you the royal treatment that is missing from the big box stores. Kelly and John have been life savers and I will continue to be a loyal customer! read more

I have to be honest. I only come here when I am in the area or I need a real hardware guy to describe a problem to fix. I came by the store the other day to pick up some rescreened patio sliders and needed to take care of some other stuff. The floor employee (and dear sir, I am sorry. Im terrible with names.) Professional, confident, skilled, and showed me to exactly what I needed for my "little Manhattan" home project. Im now a fan!! Funny, I had to visit Home Depot later that night for a product and it was empty and I couldn't find any help, except the Solar City Guy in the main aisle trying to sell me Solar to increase his monthly sales income. ACE, I get it now, continue on. You have my business. read more

Have never been to a more helpful hardware store. They even greet you when you come in the door. Won't get that at Home Depot or Lowes. Are always willing to answer your questions. They always have specials going on and will save you money. Get an ace card to save even more. Easy parking here and there is a Dutch Bros coffee and donut shop in the same parking lot. Thanks Ace for all you do. read more

John in Paint Department was outstanding! I struggled getting the right color for a dining room and took him two samples. With his knowledge he got the perfect color match for me and it was so fun working with him. I learned so much from him and this is my 4th renovation. The color is finally exactly what I was looking for. I will drive the distance as I'm not from Granite Bay to always use John for my paint matching! Great customer service!! Thank you! read more

Great customer service at this store, but it also seems like they are a little too eager at times and won't just leave you alone and let you shop. read more
