Horrible customer service Indian guy very rude you ask him a question and he will give you a rude response and his tone is uncomfortable this place charged me $250 to replace a lightbulb in the tv then they removed my protective plastic that I had on the tv to prevent scratches and marks of any kind and didn't replace the plastic their exact words when I stated I didn't want the plastic removed was " Oh well" let me not forget to mention they had my tv for two weeks and never once called to say my tv was repaired and ready for pick up when I called to ask they lied and stated my voicemail was full when my voicemail is wiped clean with not a single message then when I arrived to retrieve my tv they had no idea where the tv was or who I was but yet you remembered my voicemail was so called full yea ok read more

If you are a complete geek like myself, and opt to use legacy equipment out of a pure drive for nostalgia, you will realize first-hand that older equipment requires very specific maintenance to stay running. Such was the case with my Philips CCB194AT31 CRT TV/VCR combo unit (made in the year 2000.) Back in 2018, the VCR carriage encountered an issue; in which a user would request to eject a tape, and the VCR would still think the cassette was inside the mechanism. As such, the entire TV set would promptly shut down seconds later. I was afraid I would be stuck with this issue for the remainder of the life-span of the unit, and for years, I had to mitigate the usage of the whole set around this problem. But now, I finally decided to take the set down to Dyna-Tech, and see if they were still willing to service these legacy units. And, to my surprise (and relief!), these guys will still service it all, both retro and modern. Kyle and Harry boast decades of experience behind the name of their business, and it shows in every way! Kyle was extremely friendly, polite, and attentive as I explained my situation, and right off the bat, he knew just what to do to fix the VCR carriage right up. He cleaned up the mode selection switch, the infrared prisms (which see clear leads in the tape reels, and communicate to photo diodes when a cassette has reached a beginning or end point), and gave everything a much-needed lubrication and spit-shine, both inside and out. I was expecting the repair to take at least a week or two to complete; however, to my shock, they gave me a call the very next day, informing me that the set was already available for pick up! The pricing was very fair, the communication, speed, and overall pure commitment could not be beat, and it felt amazing to give a legacy machine a new life. I cannot express enough how grateful I am that these guys still give some TLC to these retro devices, even decades later. Sometimes you just go through your daily routine thinking, but not saying something good about someone that has been very helpful. Dynatech has saved me a whole lot of money on electronics over the years of seeking their services. Folks, they are willing to take a look at all kinds of audio and video circuit stuff. The way I've found them irreplaceable, is preventing replacement of all kinds of electronics. I am a handy person, all around, I just don't have the steady hand and patience to do electric circuit soldering. Now I said 20 plus years, I mean it, remember those big ol projector TVs back in the 90's-2000's? I ponied up my hard earned cash to have the best viewing experience of the times. A Mitsubishi WS-55*** 1080i rptv. I loved it, I could micro adjust each grid on the projection to get optimum color and clarity. But with state of the art electronics and the need to provide a theater like viewing experience, came electric failures. Power supplies, projector control boards, I had that tv through 2 generations of flat screen technologies before finally kicking it to the curb. On Tuesday 03-01-22 while enjoying my morning coffee, and watching the news my beloved six year old flat-screen TV went black it had sound but no picture. Needless to say I felt that anxiety in the pit of my stomach "no" not now/today unexpected $$$. Great experience with Harry's Dyna-Tech. My TV randomly went out on me and considering it is large and expensive, I feared the worst. It didn't help that my warranty had JUST expired a few months prior. Not wanting to bite the bullet and taking a risk that it MAY be repairable, I did some research and found that Dyna-Tech was both established and well-reviewed online. I called them, and long story short...I had a driver at my door in a couple of hours who took my TV, gave me an assessment and a quote a couple of hours later, and had the TV repaired and delivered back to me within the span of about 24-36 hours. Apparently, my power supply had fried out, likely from an electrical surge in my home. They replaced the power supply and my TV was up and running like new for around $300, including taking the TV and returning it so I didn't have to go pick it up. The $50 deposit you pay at the time of scheduling the in-home visit is taken off your final bill, and they are very communicative about this. Fairly priced, quick service, and great results. I highly recommend them for anyone on the fence who is debating whether to get their TV repaired, or cough up the big bucks to just buy a new one. So far, so good with my repair. There was a slight hitch in the process, that wasn't their fault though. Some of the new fuses they put in my projection TV blew again, but they were quick to come out and repair it for free. We had an nice old lcd tv that was given to us by a family member because it took forever to turn on. Great picture when it finally did, but who has the patience... I called these guys after googling tv repair and they said for 25 bucks they'd give it a lookover. About 2 hours later they called with a repair time and estimate. (I had been online researching the issue and had a pretty good idea what to expect.) They were dead on on the estimate, so I said fix it! As it turns out it took a bit longer for parts ordered, but they always stayed in contact (unlike my local Cadillac dealer...) and the price never fluctuated 1 cent.
