There's plenty of parking, though they do share their parking lot with food chains like Buffalo Wild Wings and Red Lobster. The interior is very spacious and clean! The floor is absolutely gorgeous and the air duct work being painted like Mario's green pipes is hilarious. They have the biggest selection of used games and consoles, carrying all the classics and newest. It almost reminds me a little of sneaker resellers the way they have things shrink wrapped and behind glass cases. Additionally they sell Pokémon cards, plushies and amiibos! Staff was super friendly, and very helpful even willing to look for an item at one of their other locations. We both picked up some sweet new additions to our collection and will for sure be back!

They have their database of exactly what the have in exactly what condition and you can use it to get a list together of what you want. Then they go grab the cards for you. Very simple. The con: Prices are a little wonky. The cheap cards that would be 50 cents at most places in their big box of random cards can be as low as 10 cents here. The good cards however are very inflated in cost. Some things here are 3-4x what they are online (shipping included). Essentially this is one of the premier spots to go for getting your deck built out with basic cards. I would not shop here for your premium cards though.

Bailey was also great to work with as he was the person I sold the most to. You must know you will not get full market value for your comics or collectibles but what they do offer is fair and didn't feel like a low ball offer at all. I have no complaints or reservations about the overall transactions. My comic collecting days are over but if you're a collector this is the gold standard for Sacramento area comic shops. Between their Wednesday live sales and what seems to be every other month or so 50% back issue sales there are great opportunities to build your collection at fair prices. Their toy/collectible section has really expanded in the past few years particularly at the Auburn location. I'll still pop in from time to time to check out the collectibles. Have found some great stuff in the past! All 3 locations are worth a visit. Staff has always been friendly and everything seems to be well stocked and organized. Give em' a visit if you haven't yet. There's also designated sections for female authors, children's literature and Japanese only books. Some books will have handwritten price tags but overall pricing is more than fair and reasonable! But now my phone is having all these issues where it's overheating and literally acting up like I can't swipe my finger on it sometimes. I thought I would be saving money, but then I finally had enough and took it back in to let them know the issue. Well I left my phone there for 4 hours to have them put a genuine screen back on it and came back only to find out that they didn't have the screen available. First of all, why if the LCD Screen is not good would you put it on in the first place? He was claiming that because of the titanium around my phone, the knock of screens will sometimes not work as well. But when I come back only to find out nothing was done?!! What a waste of my gas money and time! He then said he had to order the screen and would call me today and I've received no phone call. I would not recommend this place. Going to be marching myself to an Apple Store after all. I kind of hoped that after his explanation he would replace my screen for free. Especially after all the money I've already spent -- I may as well just get a new phone almost 400.00 later!

My experience with David has been the most positive of any business that I've ever dealt with. I bought a new 27" iMac retina display computer this year after having David look at my previous 6 year old iMac that was beginning to show signs of hard drive failure. Rather than replace the drive in an old machine I decided that it might be smarter to replace the whole computer with new one. I had already purchased an SSD drive intending to put it in my sick iMac but after deciding to replace the whole computer instead, I wanted to put the SSD into the new computer. David did the drive change for me and all was good. I took the computer home but unfortunately, the screen adhesive came loose and the screen separated from the computer that same night. In a panic, I called David (after business hours) and told him what had happened expecting to take it back to him the next day. He asked for my home address and within an hour he was at my front door, picked up the computer and took it back to his shop to fix it. It was an honest mistake on his part and he went the extra mile to make it right. For anyone looking for a computer repair tech who is honest, dependable with an excellent work ethic, don't bother looking any further. David is your guy! Rob J. read more

A long time ago, in the before time; I would not have minded wondering into a dirty little game shop - frankly there is no reason for it not to be safe. And that is the key word. Covid, and does a business take it seriously, does that businesses proprietor take it seriously? Is it safe; In this case: no. If then you don't care, and you need to find you local gamer-gate community center. Well, congratulations - welcome to your germ bubble. Opposite that if you would not be ok with someone living in your community and shopping in our stores being abusively abusively anti mask. Dig into this business on social media if that bothers you. Not even a real store. Just a place for repairs and game tournaments. Messy environment, none of the consoles and games look clean, and worst of all, it's just a small lounge that you could easily buy out. Don't even get me started on their sign, the damn thing is too small you'll waist 20 minuets looking for the damn place. Other game stores like Fair game retro video games and Gamestop are way better than this crap. Honestly this store only deserves a two star rating because of repairs. The counter was just so dusty and the entire store section of the place was just so weird and not even a store at all. The lounge is the main attraction, not the games or consoles that they somehow sell. read more

I wish there was a options for zero stars. I first called for a quote for my iPhone 6s. He stated he had new "original" screens from Apple. Of course I believed him. I went in for a repair, and once I picked it up and took it home, the glass was practically separating from the screen. This was either a really bad original screen or a really bad knock off. I will never go back to this place again. Not only was the price really expensive, but I couldn't even use my phone to call their shop about the issue. I had to use my roommates phone. Found this place in 2014 or 2015 and Really liked this store over many other gaming stores. It is all about the service and the service is really good. The prices are usually a bit low. Most people would like that idea but I'm a firm when it comes to prices because if a store is not meeting it's own needs it could go under. I think the low pricing is because the business relies on repair services which is a total plus. David the business own attempts to serve his customers to the fullest. Had my E01 PS3 fail on me and wanted to have it fixed with a 40nm frankenstein service there was a few options but I went with Computer Booter because I'd been watching his repair streams and he seemed like a trustworthy source. Got my console sent to him #1665 that arrived on October 1, 2025 he was spot on with his estimated 2 month turn around and was always polite when I had questions. He completed my console successfully and I received it on December 1, 2025 and so it's working amazing. It's a great place if your looking for repair or plenty of other services he offers! read more

Purchased a used/repaired Macbook Air from David at an bargain price. From the moment I walked into the store David had a positive and welcoming aura to him that is hard to find in businesses nowadays. I sent my backwards compatible PS3 in to have an RSX swap, and not only did it receive that much needed upgrade, the tokin caps were replaced, and the laser was repaired on the disc reader. I have beaten Last of Us twice now on my unit, and have had no issues. This guy is great and I really appreciate his dedication and precision.
