Wow this is the coolest place ever . I just moved here and I saw the sign. I didn't know what to expect... but wow ! This place is so fun and has everything you can think of ! They had such a huge selection of action figures toys and memorabilia and comics and statues . It will take you hours to go through the isles. I have to make this like a 3 day thing to check out everything . They even sell clothes ! I love this place so much . Great job on this fun store . I loveeee going to the Cave for sonny angels and this last time I went the workers were SO so nice;) They let my friends and I shake each sonny angel box and were super patient (iykyk). They are not overpriced at all and have a GREAT selection of smiskis, mofusand, and so much more. 2 days ago I went to sell a lot of items @ the Roseville location. That location passed up on many items where this location gladly accepted. The Roseville location employees are somewhat abrasive compared to this location. The employees here are approachable, helpful, down to earth, & very pleasant to talk to. Both this location + Roseville has a great selection of items in fact this location seems to be 10% than the Roseville location. The offer to buy my stuff was lower than I expected however, it's a lot better than Roseville. If you're looking for quirky & cool stuff shop @ this location first before heading to Folsom or the Roseville location. read more

Employees are kind and store is organized. A lot of Pop-It's were on the floor in the back, which makes it difficult to browse through if you have lower back issues or neck pain. I saw two special edition Britney Spears Pop-It - one was priced $24.99 and the other $17.99 but they were identical. I ended up purchasing the $17.99 one of course. Unsure why the differences in price. The pricing is different as well compared to other stores. I noticed a Pika-Chu Pop-it I purchased for $4.99 at the Folsom location being sold for $7.99 here. read more

Not sure why so many bad review because this place is awesome! Went in today while in Sac and was blown away with the inventory. They have literally anything and everything cool or collectible. Sports, Clothes, Music, Video Games, Toys, Shoes, etc etc etc. The prices were super reasonable on most items we looked it. Hats were like $4.99 and half of them were brand new. Video game systems were extremely reasonable along with games. The decorations and mass amount of stuff in the store is shocking. It's shocking when you first walk in because the store is literally packed. Finally the staff were super chill and helpful. We will definitely be back to The Cave. read more

Went to trade in a limited numbered Elvira statue they told us to come back the next day so we did. They offered us next to nothing for it and when they gave it back the dagger was missing and one of the wing tips was broke. They offered 20 dollars credit for a 500 plus dollar statue that is worthless now. Said the manager was gonna get back to us and never did. WONT DO BUSINESS WITH AGAIN! read more

I parked in the handicapped parking and was not offered any help in bringing my potential merchandise in. It took me about 7 trips back and forth unloading from car to store. I call bullshit ! I went to trade in a few items with my 9 year old grandson. To our surprise , I got a text saying we had $271 store credit ! When we got to the store they were having trouble locating our trade in , so I was having my grandson select some items he had been hoping to get . When we get to the counter , I'm informed they made a "mistake" and we only had $10 in credit , they had the wrong items listed for our trade ins . I understand mistakes happen , but I asked if they could at least comp a $20 item for the huge disappointment my grandson faced . No , wouldn't do it . First time shopping here!!! They do have cool stuff, (disney, marvel sports clothing, collectibles, vinal records, etc) at decent prices; however the service is unpleasant. The staff walked around and started turning the lights off without ever mentioning that they were starting to close up. Everyone seemed confused about how it was dark and all the customers were rushed to complete their shopping and to stand in a line. A heads up would have been appreciated about 30 minutes before closing or so. It was as if the employees were upset that it was so close to closing time and they still had to complete check outs for people to pay for their items. This place has ALL KINDS of items to peruse. I think the best way I can describe the Cave is a pawn shop for people who like anime, comics, video games, toys and vintage clothes. (My 14 year old corrected me to say Vintage instead of consignment, ) You need time or multiple visits to try to see everything in the store. But there is probably something different every time you go. My kids bought a pair of Jordan's each. I was looking for Robotech or Voltron figures. I was told by the cashier that they had a Voltron before the holidays but it got picked up pretty quick. I will have to keep them out to see if one pops up. read more

honestly it's not a bad thrift/vintage store. their racks and selection are HUGE though. a bunch of clothing racks and vintage figures, pops, etc. i do have to say that a lot of the ish is overpriced considering a bunch of the stuff is donated man. i did find a signed kings mclemore jersey for only $15 tho. unfortunate what happened w bro, but its no wonder they sold it for that low. but yeah. employees are also very kind. greeted me when i walked in, and was very nice when i checked out. also this place is in the trenches n the parking lot is p small so tuff. read more

I brought a luggage for consignment (mall clothes & shoes) I left it there and told the lady I would be back. I could not go back and call back letting them know I would be back the following day. The lady said that would be fine. When I returned they said the luggage and everything in it went to "goodwill" when I demanded to know why it had gone after the fact we had spoke on the phone she said their policy says if no one claims it it goes. Although I did claim it and I did come back. There no way you guys are going to toss Jordan's and vans into good will when I know the shoes were worn a hand full of time bc they had a grow spurt. After yelling at them the manager came back tossed the ticket in my face and said here read the ticket you signed.. thank god we are not ratchet any more or else I would have dragged her outside. I'm surprised to see The Cave rated so poorly; this is a really fun store to wander into and spend a lot of time looking around. Besides records, anime, comics, figurines, toys, etc. they have some racks of clothes and some shoes as well on the top shelf in the middle of the rack of clothes. I actually found some really cool like-new Puma's here and have gotten so many compliments on them. Great thrift/consignment store to check out at the very least. read more

Located in Folsom's old Dimple location, this shop still has the treasure hunt feel of Dimple, but without the new music. It's basically a consignment store that specializes in entertainment and pop culture, with a decent clothing section. I had not paid this store a visit since the beginning of the pandemic, and wow has it changed! There's now a large assortment of records, comics, cds, and dvds in addition to the video games, toys, clothing, and sneaker collection. Everything I looked at was reasonably reasonably priced. Super dreamy and fun place to look around, but it needs some organization desperately. The kind of place you know there are treasures you would buy and be excited to acquire -if you could only locate them. A great Merchandising Manager would whip this place into shape and could make it a Five Star Experience in no time. The feeling I got walking around in there was similar to the excitement I got taking the bus to the Sunrise Mall /Birdcage Walk Area to peruse Tower Records, Tower Books, and International Imports as a teen. One of the last places in Sacramento to look around for cool stuff. It's no substitute for Dimple (losing that was devastating) but you can at least find some decent used records, laserdiscs, games, VHS tapes and stuff. I'm not into "collectibles" but those are fun to just look at and I'm glad they're serving that market. However I have to point out that I was enjoying their updates on Facebook until I found out they BLOCKED me from their page there! I don't know what I could have said (it certainly wasn't anything abusive) but I certainly would have apologized given the chance. Since they blocked me I haven't even been able to see their posts and didn't know they had opened a new location in Roseville til just now. Pretty bad business to block someone for such a petty reason, I guess I won't be in to buy that one thing they post that only I would have wanted. read more

I dropped everything off on 2/23, I stopped by today because I've been in SoCal the whole month and they gave away all my items and offered me $10. I will be taking serious action considering I was managing a lot of personal issues at hand. I understand I only had a couple days to pickup but it's not my fault my family member died. So I had a horrible customer experience here. Was not greeted upon entering but immediately told I had to check my purse. When I asked why I was told the sign is on the door. Didn't even notice the sign among all the flyers posted but felt uncomfortable leaving my purse at the front so I went back out and locked it up in my car. After this embarrassing incident I noticed other women with larger bags shopping to their hearts content! I asked another shopper if they asked her to check her bag and was told no. My guy asked for a manager regarding the policy and was met with instant rudeness. I will NEVER shop at this location again. Mind you I had just shopped at the Folsom location 2 weeks prior with no issues! I felt really sad that we had this experience there when I entered other stores in the immediate area and shopped with no bias. when i first discovered this store i thought it was super cool and unique, the clutter adds to aesthetic i think. but i just have a problem with how selling works there. they low ball you A LOT, i tried to sell a few things that were worth about 1k, they messaged me offering me 50 in store credit and 40 DOLLARS IN CASH. THEN they put those things on the shelf for twice the price. i found that ridiculous and just decided to sell my things online. if your looking to get money by selling, this is definitely not the place at all. read more
