There are 2 parts to this large store, the showroom area with all the games, miniatures for your perusing and purchasing pleasure. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in recommending a game you may like, or answering inquiries into availability or ordering a game they may not have in stock. The 2d part is large game room that is stocked with games you can test out, or just come in with your friends, or meet new friends and try them out. They publish a monthly schedule of tournaments, contests, or just open game playing. On this occaision, I came to one of the Semi Annual flea market bazaars, where anyone could sign up, for a small fee , get a space to sell their older games , or maybe crafts. There is No fee to be a shopper st the bazaar, so you can find some good deals on games, miniatures, cards, books, terrain, storage or dice. I scored a Zombicide game that was unpunched at a great price for my son & I to play. All in all, just a great store for any game enthusiast of every age from beginners to the hard core gamer.

Friendly customer service, great choice selection of games and tools, and if you sign up for their rewards at the register you get $2 off. I'm a new 40k enthusiast and really enjoyed hanging around here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. Their prices are reasonable and if you're someone who's interested in painting miniatures and all- definitely give this place a shot. They have everything you need here... you've got plenty of options. It's a pretty big establishment, the only weird thing is that it's hidden tucked away on the backside of the building. I went on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to exploring more of Sac's gaming scene.

It's a typical rc track: you have the main room, the entrance, which is full of accessories and tools. If you bring your own car, they check your wheels to make sure they'll be okay on their floors. There are also plenty of snacks, drinks, and food for the microwave. There are 4 additional rooms, which you wouldn't expect from the outside. The first room you enter is a small-ish track, with ramps, hills, and a lot of decor to make it look like an outdoor raceway. The room directly to the left is still under construction, and the biggest area by far. The third room to the right is the track currently in use, and very drift friendly. There is ample seating, parking areas, and then a small room off to the right for working on your vehicles. The vibe is one of just folks hanging out. Everyone is nice, the folks at the front desk are knowledgeable, but not obnoxiously so like I've noticed at other tracks (looking at you, Super G). You can slide (drift), for $15, or you can get one of the two memberships. Definitely worth it for the atmosphere alone. Hope to be back soon!

They had informed me that they scrapped that list and went to first come first serve, which no other TCG shop goes by. They all abide by the approved list of people who successfully signed up. I am never going to this place ever again, they didn't notify me until it was too late and wasted my time. I have not had a bad experience in Sacramento with a TCG shop, but this is the icing on the cake for me. I am truly disappointed and hope they do better.

I happened upon this store thanks to a recommendation from the kind folks at Hammerhead Games…read more Unbeknownst to me, that shop is more of a destination for Magic the Gathering, and when I went in looking for Lorcana, they sent me to Gold Star Collectibles. This shop is a treasure! I'm not in the Sacramento area often, but whenever I am, I have to stop by to check out their selection of Pokemon and Lorcana cards. I find this store to be well stocked, and the employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their product. It's a little hard to find the store, as the windows seem to be always covered up. Parking is plentiful, although the turning in and out of this parking lot is a little sketch as it's on a major road. But it's all worth the risk! I've never walked out of here empty handed, and I have no regrets :)

I needed an extra shirt and Ronnie helped me out by finding the exact color and size. He was super helpful and accommodating. There was a man acting very weird in the store and whilst he was being a bit sketch Ronnie was still being very customer service focused and assisted with helping the customer that dropped some things on the ground. I looked around the scene and noticed the guy purposely dropped items. Paris the cashier then encountered the same weird guy at the register and he was still behaving weird. The manager was a bit rude to the Ronnie guy which was a bit upsetting and I made sure to inform her of what transpired so she didn't just think the associate was a bit perturbed for no reason. Customer service here needs to be better…read more After waiting about 15-20 minutes for one cashier to ring up a customer. The cashier then calls for back up. I needed to buy balloons. So when the next person came to ring me up, she said it would take about an hour and to come back later. Why would it have to take an hour when i'm here buying it right now. It has every souvenir and California/Sacramento memorabilia you can think of - magnets, mugs, tote bags, backpacks, knick-knacks, lots of items with personalized first names. It's a one stop shop for people like me who don't want to hunt down and look for unique gifts for my out-of-town friends. I was looking for stickers for my collection and easily found them here. They have apparels including novelty shirts, hoodies and jackets. Cashier employee was very nice. Historical Tip: The store is in the Site of the Sam Brannan House which celebrates California's rich Gold Rush history and Victorian architecture. The existing building was built in 1854 as the Jones Hotel so it is a historical landmark. Sam Brannan is California's first millionaire who played an important role during the Gold Rush era. We were taking some international friends around Old Sac and popped into this souvenir store…read more Walked out without buying anything in minutes. They sell shirts that have a US flag, which by itself doesn't mean anything. But the flags were accompanied by messages such as "Either love her or leave her" and "If this flag offends you, I'll help you pack your bags." The white guy behind the counter also didn't greet us and just stared at us the whole time we were there. I appreciate MAGA proudly declaring their nationalism. Makes them easier to avoid. So many other souvenir stores with better selection, competitive prices, and less display of bigotry in Old Town.
