One stop souvenir shop [Sacramento CA]…read more Located on J Street in Old Sac just a short walk from the waterfront area. It has every souvenir and California/Sacramento memorabilia you can think of - magnets, mugs, tote bags, backpacks, knick-knacks, lots of items with personalized first names. It's a one stop shop for people like me who don't want to hunt down and look for unique gifts for my out-of-town friends. I was looking for stickers for my collection and easily found them here. They have apparels including novelty shirts, hoodies and jackets. Cashier employee was very nice. Historical Tip: The store is in the Site of the Sam Brannan House which celebrates California's rich Gold Rush history and Victorian architecture. The existing building was built in 1854 as the Jones Hotel so it is a historical landmark. Sam Brannan is California's first millionaire who played an important role during the Gold Rush era. Look for the brass plaque which states that the site is the Sam Brannan building. Highly recommended for anything Cali/Sac souvenirs. Check out this place before heading anywhere else. Review #3727

They sell shirts that have a US flag, which by itself doesn't mean anything. But the flags were accompanied by messages such as "Either love her or leave her" and "If this flag offends you, I'll help you pack your bags." The white guy behind the counter also didn't greet us and just stared at us the whole time we were there. I appreciate MAGA proudly declaring their nationalism. Makes them easier to avoid. So many other souvenir stores with better selection, competitive prices, and less display of bigotry in Old Town.

We stop into Strapping often and love seeing the changing stock of fun items. They stock seasonal items, along with a variety of cute, quirky, edgy, and fun items. Truly a little something for everyone. I personally love the home goods and have picked up a variety of items like candles, spoon rests, flower pots, and more. They have a lot of Sacramento items as well and even have items for different neighborhoods. Some of these are items from their team, and some are sourced from local vendors. There's a good mix of local business items, small business items, and popular items that make this a much different experience than other gift shops. Keep an eye on their social media for new item stocks, special events, and pop ups. You could stop by weekly and find new items to fall in love with.

If you're in the area, definitely pop in.... it's worth a look. The store was super clean with a welcoming vibe. The employee working was really nice and helpful without being pushy, which I always appreciate. I ended up leaving with a couple of cute little gifts for my mom and boyfriend, and the prices were totally reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back as the holidays get closer. I saw a bunch of things that would make great stocking stuffers or even some hilarious white elephant gifts. Love finding spots like this :)

It is well designed/put together and has the cutest ideas and supports local businesses. Here are some pics of stuff I got. What a cute little gift shop!…read more Someone on a Facebook group posted about this place, and how she had found great Christmas gifts for her friends and family here. I had never heard of the place, so I figured I'd check it out. I found street parking easily on the morning I visited the store, though I can imagine how parking might be a little tricky on weekends or busier times. The store isn't very big, but it's crammed full of stuff. When I went in December, a large portion (maybe 80%?) of the items were Christmas/holiday related. I plan to come back and see what kind of inventory they have during the rest of the year! Very unique gift items and the prices are great. I found these cute Santa tongs that were only priced at $2.95. Usually in gift stores like Hallmark, I'm used to seeing items priced way more than that. I found myself pleasantly surprised when looking at prices. A few other customers were in there and we all talked about what cute store it is, and they expressed how much they love it there. One customer said there were a few other gift stores a couple doors down, but when I visited those, I was not impressed with their merchandise or pricing. This store, however, I really liked. The employee was also very very friendly. He took the time to wrap everything neatly with tissue paper and was just about the nicest person you'd ever meet. Definitely a fun place to check out if you're ever in Lincoln!

I feel like this spot along with the Ferry Building in SF ushered in the popularity of this model of this type of market - at least in California. Depending on where you go or eat, service is going to vary, but I've always interacted with wonderful folks here. I've been here a few times now with 3/2026 being my most recent visit. We came here to pick up some items for breakfast in the coming week and walked/looked around for some fun small bites. With 20 plus vendors along with the surrounding businesses and restaurants, this is just a fun place to visit whenever you're in the Napa area. I unfortunately had to watch my alcoholic beverage intake because I was driving, but it would be great to try a few of the many available options of wine offered at the vendors. Parking: there's a pretty large lot and there's a lot of parking long the street in the surrounding area, but parking can still be a bit hectic due to the popularity of this spot.
