This is one of my new favorite shops, they recently started selling Magic singles which definitely makes me want to shop here more! I was greeted right when I walked in and the guy behind the counter was incredibly helpful and prompt to assist and answer any questions I had about product. I am primarily a Magic player and they have recently really gotten more and more Magic sealed and singles for the shop, LOTS to choose from. I went right when the shop opened and at least 10+ people came in and the guy who was helping me handled the busy time tremendously and was extremely nice to all. I actually stumbled upon this place on my way to another card shop. And I was glad I did! This place has a ton of Pokemon cards. I've never seen so many in stock. They sell singles, boosters, etb, tins, battle decks, binders, anything they ever released. One thing I loved seeing was 1st edition cards. They sell higher than MSRP, but isn't everyone nowadays? I will have to say their prices are more reasonable than some other card shops I've been to. This card shop isn't that big either. But it's still roomy enough to have a battle or two with a friend. They have a restroom here so perfect place to kill time. They also have a TV and play movies and shows people will actually watch like Time Machine and TMNT. I'm not sure who owns this shop, but it's mostly run by a nice guy and lady. Both of them have helped me before and both were respectful and patient. Definitely worth checking out! read more

This place deserves way more recognition! Inventory is stocked to the brim with singles / slabs and boosters! The prices are cheaper than what I've seen around the area! Don't let the prices of singles / slabs deter you from asking the owners to price match TCG / last sold! I drove all the way from stockton to pick up a moonbreon psa 10 and flareon vmax promo psa 10! The owners are very knowledgeable and helpful! I'm really glad I made the drive up here! One note is that it may be hard to find, just go past autozone and it'll be at the very end next to mountain mikes! read more

Came in here as my partner and I are trying to get back into Pokémon TCG. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and asked if we needed help. My partner told them that we are new and they immediately started explaining the different boosters, sets, and packs. They made recommendations based on our intended use (collecting cards vs actually battling). They were just great. We have been to 6 other card shops in the area looking for Pokémon 151 and this shop had the nicest staff by far. This is definitely a shop that specializes in Pokémon cards, but they definitely have a few other options. They have a lot of rare singles. I recommend this shop to anyone. read more

I would 1000% recommend this store to any TCG player. The store is small, but the couple always takes care of their community. I dislike seeing these reviews try to diminish their character when it's more likely they were looking to swindle and got called. Anyone who says Ultimate Spice is better is completely bs. Not even close. Prices are always at market at Card Quest and even runs hella deals if you follow on Insta. If you know LGS' you'll know this is a small, but excellent shop. As others have mentioned, this location is not worth the hassle. Owners are grimey and try to take advantage of customers. They aren't transparent with their "raffles" or "giveaways," as they're just ways to bring people in to spend more in hopes of getting a raffle ticket. No proof of winner(s) when it mattered in order to prolong their "promotional giveaways." Prices are beyond market value and expect you to cheap yourself out in order for them to make a profit. It's getting ridiculous how difficult it is to find a quality card shop that respects their community nowadays but this place is definitely not one of them! Soo this was my 2nd time coming to this shop and mannn I gotta give it up the owner , I forget his name but the first time and also this time today I was making a trade and I was maybe 8 dollars off and I was going to pay the difference , he said forget it , it's ok I'll do it straight up, it's little things like that even tho it was a few $ off that will me me a returning customer , same thing as last time he gave me a little more $ for my trade ins with no hesitation. Went in for the first time today. Customer service was great, even though the employee was helping another customer she made sure to welcome and acknowledge us, which I greatly appreciated. The stock and variety here was great! We've gone to another big card store and their stock of Pokemon was no where near what they had at this shop! Prices are pretty spot on to TCGplayer as well. When I went to the shop the owner felt very predatorial, like he was looking to gain any edge or swindle any prices he could. He seems knowledgeable, but uses it on unsuspecting customers. I sold some singles and sealed at what I thought was a fair value because I trusted him. However, when I got back after having that icky feeling I looked up prices and saw that many of the singles were sold way below value, many 40% to 50% below market. Don't waste your time or money here. Ultimate Spice down the road is a lot more honest and friendly. read more

The Card Quest staff are all very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They stock a nice variety of sealed TCG products. They have a large amount of Pokemon singles ranging from Base set WOTC era all the way through to modern S&V era. Their prices are reasonable and usually follow market verified low. Has some good stuff but prices it way to high. The typical market goes for what is sold, but he goes off what people ask (and some). Inflates his prices, is bias on conditions of the cards. I feel the store was a lot better in the beginning when they opened and has now declined. Definitely disappointing and there are many other options to get the same cards in better condition and WAY cheaper price. read more
