First and foremost. The selection of Pokemon and Magic the gathering was superb. Lots of great singles and sealed product. However I unfortunately came in the shop during what appeared to be a tournament. Staff seemed pretty busy. Was not greeted nor was I asked if I needed help. One of my favorite card shops to go in the area! I'm a new pokemon card collector and this is a great shop with a great amount of pokemon cards, one piece, and the magic gathering. They have a great display with a couple glass cases with the more rare/expensive cards. There's also a good amount of binders that have 1-5$ cards that are organized by cuties, JP singles, etc. There's TONS and TONS of bulk cards to go through too! Brian, the owner, is extremely helpful and nice! He's willing to assist where he can and help find cards which was so nice to someone who's new to the hobby :) You can tell he also makes an effort to talk to customers and get to know them which creates a great sense of community. My sis recently re-started her interest in Pokemon card collecting and this shop popped up while I was searching for one in the area that particularly features a large collection of individual Pokemon cards so I can give her some as part of her bday gift. She's strictly into the artwork of the cards and I found a few cards that would be of her liking. Many boxes here with $2-or-less cards! There are also cards in display cases with premium price tags. Similar amount of Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Disney Lorcana cards are being sold here as well. Chill shopkeeper. Shop at the time was a bit disheveled with a bunch of unorganized boxes covering the gaming tables; could've used some tidying for a more welcoming environment. read more

Absolutely love this place. I have lived in this neighborhood for several years, and I have watched them grow from their tiny previous location that was always so cramped I never felt comfortable there for more than a few minutes -- to their newer, larger space. The current space is INCREDIBLE!! I've killed at least an hour just shopping. The merchandise is all around the outer edge of the overall space, leaving the center free for the star of the show --- playing the games. My son is very much into Pokemon and there's a bunch of neat Pokemon merchandise in here, including imported items from the official Pokemon center! (I have my eye on a plushie right now...) They have very reasonable prices on everything. The space is kept very clean, and the staff is friendly (even when sometimes the clientele isn't - a testament to their professionalism). If you have only ever been by when it was in the smaller space, you are MISSING OUT. They do seem more into Pokemon (my son's game) than MTG (mine), but they do offer regular events for both -- so neither of us feels excluded. All in all, it is very clear from the upgrades that this shop is a passion project for the owner. If you're only there to play and not shop - the retail stuff is out of the way and easily ignored. If you're only there to shop and not play, you don't have to go trip over players to get to stuff. Parking typically isn't an issue unless Fusion Rose happens to have an event the same night... but even so, there's always spots further down the same lot near the SaveMart. All in all, I can't recommend them enough. Sure, there's much larger shops out there with more selection -- but this is my local shop and they have /earned/ my loyalty, so I always check here before going anywhere else! read more

When it opened, the door was locked and no one could get inside. We waited and extra 15 minutes for an employee with a key to actually show up. The selection however made up for it. Was just in this store to look around, and they had a small group of cards that I needed for my collection. I was already set on buying most of them, and asked if I could see them all. The first girl that helped me was nice and tried to be accommodating but doubled checked and asked if she could do so. Another girl, brunette with dark green looking highlights in the front section of her head said no, mentioning how everything is in alphabetical order and I'd be messing it up and that anybody could run off with the cards with this weird attitude and demeanor. Her tone came so out of nowhere it was so close to turning me off from purchasing anything at all. I totally understand there are policies in place, but there are way more polite ways to stating so. They seemed decently busy and I would have been fine waiting to be helped as the first girl that helped me was also trying to finish up a trade, if that meant I would be getting adequate service. Im not usually one to leave reviews of any kind but we were just in there like 20 minutes ago and this experience was so weird... first off, every single time we visit this place, we are never acknowledged, the employees are always so busy taking to each other and are so involved in their conversations to actually help out their customers. We asked the girl there for the price of a box and she said "I don't know what the owner has it priced at, yeah I don't know" and walked away. She didn't ask her coworkers or even tried to look as if she wanted to help us out. I don't get it, you guys are always ignoring us to have nonsense conversations within each other , you can't talk to each other a little more to ask if anyone knows the price? Terrible customer service. I know these people don't care because they don't care about their customers but we are never coming back here. The store also smells bad just letting you know. read more

drove about 40 minutes to this store because i had been hearing a lot of good things about it. unfortunately i ended up only spending about 10-15 minutes here and left without buying anything. im not someone who typically cares all that much about customer service, but it was very lacking here. was not greeted by anyone after walking in and was never asked if i needed any help. selection of cards wasnt the greatest but i still saw several pokemon cards behind the glass i wanted to pick out, however the only person i saw working was sitting in the back room. they didn't look too interested in helping the customers who were there so i just left instead. the store also had a weird smell. probably would not come back. read more

Amazing store with some amazing employees that just want the best for the community. Wish I would've found this store for all things TCG sooner because they are all so knowledgeable. The selection is excellent they have singles, commons, lands, booster packs, booster boxes, sleeves, dice and other fun stuff too.
