The guy answered the phone and laughed when he heard the title. He said that is his coworkers favorite comic. And that yes they did have it in stock. I asked if he'd hold it for me and I would be over shortly. Awesome. The store is located in the Southport Town Center, along many other shops and eateries. There were plenty of people inside of all ages. Looks like they had finished playing some type of card games as there were tables set up and intense looks on their faces. Talked to Allan and told him what I was there for. He was pretty informative and friendly about the series. I am new to the scene so this took a lot of the pressure off "am I getting the right book, am I missing more in the anthology?" The book was $27, fair price and I gladly handed my cash over and said goodbyes. The shop was full of classic comic books and new ones too. Plenty of Pokémon and magic cards too. Great little West Sac comic book and game card store.

We have some very rare basketball cards and wanted to better understand the grading process before taking the plunge, especially since the store assists with submitting cards to PSA. Marcos explained everything clearly, answered every question we had, and gave us the information and confidence we needed to move forward. We made the trip from the East Bay to the Sacramento store and spent more than an hour with him. He was professional, thorough, honest, and never made us feel rushed. You can tell he genuinely knows the industry and cares about helping customers make informed decisions. We highly recommend Marcos to anyone with questions about card grading, PSA submissions, or valuable collections. He made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We also want to give a special thank-you to Alin, who helped me purchase a basketball card hobby box. He was friendly, helpful, and added another great experience to our visit.

We were greeted by the staff who was kind enough to let our kiddo use the bathroom. He was also personable and answered our questions. The store is smaller but really nicely organized and had a variety of Warhammer, paints, and an area to play games. They also had Magic the gathering cards available, which was part of our trip since we were trying to learn to make our own commander decks. When we're in the area we'd go again. My husband got some Monument Paints

We are both pleasant surprised with the high end inventory in the store! Some of those relics, like long version spanning across 2 regular card size, we don't even know they exist! It almost felt like a museum for sports fans to drool there! They also carried some Pokemon cards at more expensive price, but definitely a very full inventory available for those felt the urge to rip some packs! I love how to area is designed and very spacious with tables and chairs to enjoy. They also have some reasonable price cards to the right of the store next to the freebie section. I dug through that 3 baseball boxes and found a couple good ones. I also got like 13 freebies thst usually sell on eBay like 25-99 cents each. I love how they have the freebies for kids and adults and we definitely bought more singles because we found those freebies for players we actually need and love (yes minor players but you don't care if you are a fan). We will most likely return. If you have kids they will have fun there too!

This shop is a treasure! I'm not in the Sacramento area often, but whenever I am, I have to stop by to check out their selection of Pokemon and Lorcana cards. I find this store to be well stocked, and the employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about their product. It's a little hard to find the store, as the windows seem to be always covered up. Parking is plentiful, although the turning in and out of this parking lot is a little sketch as it's on a major road. But it's all worth the risk! I've never walked out of here empty handed, and I have no regrets :)

The second time we dealt with his wife (Corey was not there) and she was friendly which was just fine. Now the third time we went we were looking for some destined rivals packs and/or booster boxes. We had picked out one booster bundle for me and one for my boyfriend and then realized he was selling a whole box set which we asked if we could get just the box set instead (this is all before purchase). He must of either jumped to conclusion or didn't understand what we were asking. He loudly scolded us for buying too much (which is insane as a business owner) and started to humiliate us with demeaning comments. He was saying that he had people he needed to sell to and would not let us buy anything else. Mind you the store is almost a 4x4 shoe box so everyone could hear a pin drop. I'm not sure why you have product on the shelf and were showing it to us if you didn't want us buying anything. Safe to say I went from an excited newbie mtg and Pokemon fan to being very uncomfortable in most shops I go to now. I do not know if Corey owns this shop purely to hang out with the only regulars he deems worthy or because he likes public humiliation towards customers but there is no way with the amount of attitude and disrespect he holds towards all customers that this business will last long. Save your hard earned money and look at reviews before checking a shop out.
