Their boba is good and they are looking to introduce new flavors over time! They do a handful of TCG events a week and are looking to do more. They also have a nice collection of boardgames, video games, and card games that are a good vibe if you are going with a group or someone else at any age group. The one thing I would say is that their decor could use some work but it has good bones and it is a relatively new shop. I look forward to seeing how this place grows. Even if you aren't a big fan of either the boba or TCG side it's definitely still worth checking out!

There are 2 parts to this large store, the showroom area with all the games, miniatures for your perusing and purchasing pleasure. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in recommending a game you may like, or answering inquiries into availability or ordering a game they may not have in stock. The 2d part is large game room that is stocked with games you can test out, or just come in with your friends, or meet new friends and try them out. They publish a monthly schedule of tournaments, contests, or just open game playing. On this occaision, I came to one of the Semi Annual flea market bazaars, where anyone could sign up, for a small fee , get a space to sell their older games , or maybe crafts. There is No fee to be a shopper st the bazaar, so you can find some good deals on games, miniatures, cards, books, terrain, storage or dice. I scored a Zombicide game that was unpunched at a great price for my son & I to play. All in all, just a great store for any game enthusiast of every age from beginners to the hard core gamer.

Friendly customer service, great choice selection of games and tools, and if you sign up for their rewards at the register you get $2 off. I'm a new 40k enthusiast and really enjoyed hanging around here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgable. Their prices are reasonable and if you're someone who's interested in painting miniatures and all- definitely give this place a shot. They have everything you need here... you've got plenty of options. It's a pretty big establishment, the only weird thing is that it's hidden tucked away on the backside of the building. I went on a Saturday afternoon and really enjoyed it! I'm looking forward to exploring more of Sac's gaming scene.

I appreciated the diversity of genres from heavy to light and social games as well as strategy games (I don't like when other places have only light or party games!). We stayed the entire time for Twilight Imperium and were treated well. They didn't rush us out at close as other places do. They allow outside food where others don't. Price is actually reasonable considering their library and the people there are plentiful and diverse too. I haven't tried going to open gaming events where you mingle but can consider that in the future. They host their own monthly Twilight Imperium which I might try out in the future when I am free on the weekend!

The second time we dealt with his wife (Corey was not there) and she was friendly which was just fine. Now the third time we went we were looking for some destined rivals packs and/or booster boxes. We had picked out one booster bundle for me and one for my boyfriend and then realized he was selling a whole box set which we asked if we could get just the box set instead (this is all before purchase). He must of either jumped to conclusion or didn't understand what we were asking. He loudly scolded us for buying too much (which is insane as a business owner) and started to humiliate us with demeaning comments. He was saying that he had people he needed to sell to and would not let us buy anything else. Mind you the store is almost a 4x4 shoe box so everyone could hear a pin drop. I'm not sure why you have product on the shelf and were showing it to us if you didn't want us buying anything. Safe to say I went from an excited newbie mtg and Pokemon fan to being very uncomfortable in most shops I go to now. I do not know if Corey owns this shop purely to hang out with the only regulars he deems worthy or because he likes public humiliation towards customers but there is no way with the amount of attitude and disrespect he holds towards all customers that this business will last long. Talk about disappointment when bringing my 10 year old son to a sports card shop for the first time…read moreever. The manager/maybe owner was not welcoming at all when my son and I asked him to check out some of our card collection. We have spent the past 10 months collecting and spending thousands of dollars and he simply said we have two okay cards maybe worth grading but PSA isn't accepting any more for a while so out of luck. I asked him if he buys cards and sarcastically said yes and I asked what type of cards he buys and again sarcastically said "good ones". You would think card shops would like to make a kid coming in feel good about sports cards and collecting but my son left crying. How about trying to enlighten us a little more about card collecting add some encouragement. I will never step foot in there again and highly discourage anyone else from doing the same. Just buy your cards online where at least you don't have a negative Nancy to deal with.

Bailey was also great to work with as he was the person I sold the most to. You must know you will not get full market value for your comics or collectibles but what they do offer is fair and didn't feel like a low ball offer at all. I have no complaints or reservations about the overall transactions. My comic collecting days are over but if you're a collector this is the gold standard for Sacramento area comic shops. Between their Wednesday live sales and what seems to be every other month or so 50% back issue sales there are great opportunities to build your collection at fair prices. Their toy/collectible section has really expanded in the past few years particularly at the Auburn location. I'll still pop in from time to time to check out the collectibles. Have found some great stuff in the past! All 3 locations are worth a visit. Staff has always been friendly and everything seems to be well stocked and organized. Give em' a visit if you haven't yet. Lots of treasures to be discovered.

I had a very disappointing experience with this store. I successfully registered for their One…read morePiece pre-release event and made arrangements to attend, including driving approximately 45 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I was informed that the staff had manually removed me from the event without providing any prior notice. The staff member stated that he was in charge of the gaming events and had the discretion to remove registered participants who were not considered frequent or regular players. While I understand that the store may have its own policies regarding event participation, removing someone who successfully registered without any advance communication is disappointing and unprofessional. If a successful registration through the Bandai registration system does not actually guarantee a spot and participation is ultimately at the store's discretion, that should be clearly disclosed on the registration page or event details. Customers should know this before registering and making plans to attend. At a minimum, if the store decides to remove a registered participant, a courtesy call, text, or email should be provided so customers do not unnecessarily rearrange their schedules or make a wasted trip to the store. People have jobs, families, and other responsibilities and have to coordinate their schedules to attend these events. Not everyone has the ability to attend every local event or regularly visit the store. The lack of communication and consideration for customers' time was extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I would be hesitant to register for another event here.
