I love this place, the food is delicious, the service is great, and the patio area is very cozy. Today Stephy served us, super attentive, with a beautiful smile and very pleasant.

First time visiting Inkas Irvine. We are major Peruvian food Foodies and love to discover new Peruvian restaurants. My son and I went on a Saturday around noon. The place was pretty empty since they probably get most foot traffic on weekdays with the local business lunch crowd. The food was good but it lacked that authentic Peruvian seasoning we are accustomed to. It was still good just tasted different than most of the usual Peruvian restaurants we go to, almost like a non Peruvian cook made it. The portions were well served and HUGE. That's a big plus for them. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was ok but I don't see us returning to try any more dishes.

Hidden Peruvian spot perfect for people who work nearby in Irvine - it's kind of pricey but the food comes in large portions and is so flavorful. So far the lomo saltado, chicken picante and alfajores cookies are my favorites. Having visited multiple times, service has been consistently good! There's a large lot shared with neighboring offices and both indoor, outdoor patio seating (with shade under a large tree).

Best cookies!!!

Best hidden gem. Food always great, never a wait. Plus the staff and owner super friendly. Have been coming here for 18 years. Oh and best Peruvian cookies anywhere.

Stopped in for a quick drink. Enjoyed their red sangria outside on the patio. The sangria was tasty and refreshing! They have all day happy hour specials. Already had lunch but when I went in to pay everything smelled soo good! Have to go back again for lunch next time.

Came for a corporate lunch, it was good. Plenty of seating, can get rushed and busy fast. Service was great and staff was nice. Food is peruvian so def unique and different

Inkas was such a delightful place to dine! My friends and I ate here on a warm sunny weekday afternoon, and the outdoor ambiance was just perfect for catching up over some delicious food and drinks. The service was very friendly and the food came out in a very reasonable time. Now onto the good stuff: Ceviche: 5/5. The ceviche was outstanding! So flavorful and had the perfect amount of acidity. It was a great appetizer and very shareable for 3 people. Highly recommend. Chicken picante: 4/5. Picante is my favorite Peruvian dish of all time. While Inka's rendition was not my favorite version of this dish that I've tried, jt did not disappoint. It had great flavor and the chicken was not dry at all. I'd likely order something different next time, but this wasn't still delicious. I will definitely be returning to Inkas the next time I am craving Peruvian food or want a nice outdoor spot to dine at. I'd definitely love to come here with my dogs! Do yourself a favor and try Inkas out!

Empanadas, Huancaina (Spicy Cheese Sauce), Chicha Morada and Extra Bread

I've been to Inkas many times before, but it had been a while since my last visit. I decided to treat myself to a solo dinner here last weekend, and it was phenomenal, even better than I remembered. I was greeted right away and seated quickly, which made for a great start. The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with a bright and colorful space and both indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit inside and really enjoyed the ambiance. For food, I ordered a variety of empanadas: steak and mushroom, chicken, and a steak empanada served with amarillo dressing. The steak and mushroom was my personal favorite, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also had the huancaína potatoes, which were absolutely delicious, and paired everything with a chicha morada that was incredibly refreshing and tasty. Before heading out, I grabbed some alfajores cookies, and they were so good. Even though it's about a 15-20 minute drive for me, it's completely worth it. I will definitely be back again soon.

Came around 8pm on a Monday night. The outside seating was very picturesque and the music was great too. The service was amazing--everyone was so kind and very attentive, checking up on us throughout the meal. Everything we ordered was really tasty too: Shrimp Ceviche: 9/10 Fish Ceviche: 9/10 Tallarin Verde Chicken (Pasta): 8/10 (my bf thought it was 10/10) Lomo Saltado: 9/10 Nutella and banana Empanadas: 8/10 (filling was amazing but wish there was bigger portion and better quality ice cream. still super delicious tho!!) Chicha Morada: 10/10 Maracuya: 10/10 Inka Kola: 6/10 Overall, fantastic meal!! I'm so surprised this isn't a more popular spot because the service and food was seriously excellent. Definitely coming back!

Worth the Drive from the South Bay…read more Another Eat the World LA find -- and one of my favorite discoveries for Argentinian food! I will literally drive all the way from the South Bay to Santa Ana for the empanadas at Puerto Madero Argentinian Market & Bakery. As someone who is half Argentinian, I'm pretty particular about Argentinian food, and especially empanadas and chimichurri. I criticize almost every chimichurri I try at restaurants that serve it. These empanadas are baked, not fried, generously stuffed, flavorful, and incredibly well-priced for the quality and portion. They don't skimp on the filling -- the empanadas are thick and packed with protein, which makes them feel like an actual meal rather than mostly pastry. And the chimichurri is one of the most authentic I've found. That alone is worth talking about! I've picked up empanadas to bring to all kinds of people, and they consistently get the same reaction. My mom, who is Argentinian-born, loves them. My best friend's family, who is fully Argentinian, praises them. Even my Mexican grandmother has declared them some of the best empanadas she's had. That's a pretty impressive range of approval. I've walked in and ordered a dozen on the spot, placed orders for dozens ahead of time, and also tried other items like the Choripán and beef Milanesa sandwich. Everything has been consistently delicious. Whether I'm grabbing a few for myself, ordering a dozen for family, or bringing a big batch to share, Puerto Madero never disappoints. For me, this is absolutely one of those places where the drive from the South Bay to Santa Ana is completely worth it. If you love Argentine food -- especially empanadas -- put this place on your list.

From the moment you walk in, the difference is night and day--the facility and restaurant are immaculately clean and well-maintained, easily blowing the locations I've visited in Houston out of the water. Beyond the pristine environment, the staff here is remarkably friendly and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. And the food? Absolute perfection. The quality is top-notch, with soft, pillowy dough and savory, flavorful fillings that hit the spot every single time. I honestly tell everyone I know that this place is life-changing. I refer all my friends and family to it without hesitation. I love this place, and I will be back again and again!

He specifically requested for the traditional fruit kolaches - there was lemon, peach, apple, and cherry. Apple was the unanimous fam favorite, but unfortunately there had only been one left, so make sure to either pick up your pastries earlier on in the day or place an online order so they can make them. I got Carne Asada fries with Cheese and Cilantro. Immediately after eating like about 30 mins later I started to feel extremely sick. I started throwing up in massive loads all night and all morning today. I had to call off of work and I'm at the ER as I'm writing this review to see if I got food poisoning. My boyfriend got plain fried and he was okay. So I'm thinking either the meat or the cheese was rotten. I do not recommend coming here for your healthy and safety. I still feel like shit and I'm still throwing up today. This was the worse experience I've ever had. ----- The owner wrote back to my Google review with no accountability stating they have been audited by the health department. That doesn't mean anything to me. I'm sure they prepare for the audits in advance but I got sick after eating their food. Maybe the meat or cheese was rotten for that day but I wouldn't be here writing this review for no reason. It's 12:31pm 04/15/25 and I have not stopped throwing up. I feel like I need to let people know to prevent this happening to them. It's horrible!
