Bomb!! Located inside a liquor store so it's kinda hard to find. I asked which were the most popular and tried the spinach and ricotta, spicy beef, and nortena which was potatoes inside! they're fully stuffed and soo warm and delicious especially with their chimichurri sauce which I wish they gave more of! I got 3 for just under $10.

Argentinian flag blessed this place throughout.

Oh, and they got pizza too??? Stop it. You are kidding me right now. There must have been a lot of Italians that ended up in Argentina because this is some good pizza. Heavy on the oils and cheese. I come from an Italian family. SO

Craving spicy beef empanadas, still delicious . They're always fresh and perfectly toasty. Excellent service too.

Love these hole in the wall places, or hidden gems. My first time here had the Choripan Sandwich, was excellent

The best empanada was the pineapple and cheese. Though that sounds like a weird combo, trust that it was strangely delicious. That is, if you like pineapple and if you like cheese. I wanted to love the other flavors but sadly, I've had my fill of empanadas and this spot, inside of the liquor store, is a bit odd .

Truly authentic Argentinian empanadas. The place is hidden inside a licor store, the place looks extra clean which I like. The lady that gave me my food was probably the owner and she reminded me that is I place my order directly with her, the food is a little cheaper. The empanada were so good, sorry, didn't take a picture because we ate them so fast.

Very delicious !! Authentic Argentinian empanadas and alfajores! The restaurant is just hidden in a liquor store.

Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I found this out of the way place that just happens to be fantastic. Don't be deterred by its back of a liquor store location. Heritage House Liquor which has been around as long as I remember. It's one of the old school Tustin places that make Tustin Tustin - not you, Tustin Ranch. I doubt you will find better empanadas anywhere, and they serve quite a variety of them. They serve also sandwiches and pizza, both of which I intend to try based on my experience with the empanadas. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there, but It's mostly take out. My empanadas traveled well on the 15 minute drive home. For my first time, I chose the beef empanadas served, of course, with house made chimichurri sauce. Three of them at $3.00 each were plenty to fill me up. The service is very friendly. Be sure to tip. It's a good place all the way around.

Best empanadas ever. I come here every couple weeks and every time the empanadas taste delicious. They are prized fairly, I would recommend.

I got Carne Asada fries with Cheese and Cilantro. Immediately after eating like about 30 mins later I started to feel extremely sick. I started throwing up in massive loads all night and all morning today. I had to call off of work and I'm at the ER as I'm writing this review to see if I got food poisoning. My boyfriend got plain fried and he was okay. So I'm thinking either the meat or the cheese was rotten. I do not recommend coming here for your healthy and safety. I still feel like shit and I'm still throwing up today. This was the worse experience I've ever had. ----- The owner wrote back to my Google review with no accountability stating they have been audited by the health department. That doesn't mean anything to me. I'm sure they prepare for the audits in advance but I got sick after eating their food. Maybe the meat or cheese was rotten for that day but I wouldn't be here writing this review for no reason. It's 12:31pm 04/15/25 and I have not stopped throwing up. I feel like I need to let people know to prevent this happening to them. It's horrible!

It is the perfect spot for a date night out, especially in the summer. We ordered carne crudo, castacan, cochinita pibil, and beignets for dessert. For a drink I got a pineapple tamarind agua fresca that was a perfect combination. I really enjoyed everything we ate here. 3 dishes was enough to feed 2. The standout was the cochinita pibil. I do wish we got a little variety and picked a different dish instead of getting 2 pork dishes but both the cochnita pibil and castacan were highly recommended by a friend. The beignets and the dipping sauces were delicious . The dough was so fluffy. The service was great and we sat right next to the kitchen. You could tell the staff is organized and keeps a clean kitchen which is always nice to see with these open kitchen restaurants. Parking is street parking only.

The atmosphere is beautiful, it feels like you're dining in a cozy house/patio. Our server was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Guava Brava - Such a refreshing and delicious cocktail. I would definitely order this again. Almejas al Vapor Picantes - The avocado clam sauce was incredible, especially paired with the focaccia bread for dipping. Pulpo al Guajillo - One of my favorite dishes of the night. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Empanadas - Really good! We all loved these. Salbute Pato Ahumado - Tasty, but it wasn't one of my favorites compared to the other dishes. Poc Chuc - I'd probably skip this next time. The flavor was good, but the meat wasn't as tender as I expected and was a bit tough to chew. Beignets - So delicious! They come with chocolate and caramel dipping sauces, and they were the perfect way to end the meal. Our server even brought us a side of vanilla ice cream to enjoy with them, which turned out to be an amazing combination. Overall, we had a wonderful birthday dinner here. Between the cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and standout dishes, I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Parking is within the same plaza as a couple of other businesses. There are only a handful of parking spots in the front and a couple on the sides if you're willing to walk more. The interior of the store is clean. There are seats on the exterior but not inside. The lines snake inside, instead, making it fairly small. Whenever I come to the store, I make sure to check in through the kolache app. When you check in, you get a number that is attributed to your account so you can give the cashier. The kolache app is great because I get discounts and a free kolache per month. I buy more than a dozen when I visit! The kolaches can be warmed up and the filling can be savory or sweet. I love their potato, egg, and cheese kolache. Another good flavor is their jalapeño popper or Philly steak. A single kolache can absolutely fill you up so be warned! It was recommended to me by a friend years ago. We were able to find parking in the lot and there was not too much of a line when we arrived. The store is small with only two counters along the wall to stand if you want to enjoy your kolaches in-store. They will heat the kolaches for you if desired. There was an extensive selection of breads, both sweet and savory. We ordered several ones to try, and the soft outer bread reminded me of Filipino pan desal. The breads were flavorful, some of the fillings on the slightly saltier side. We also enjoyed two lemonades. Prices were affordable, and service was friendly. The only other issue is that they are still working out the kinks of their new rewards program, so even though I downloaded their app I could not figure out how to add the points for my purchase on either the app or their website.
