Argentinian flag blessed this place throughout.

Oh, and they got pizza too??? Stop it. You are kidding me right now. There must have been a lot of Italians that ended up in Argentina because this is some good pizza. Heavy on the oils and cheese. I come from an Italian family. SO

Bomb!! Located inside a liquor store so it's kinda hard to find. I asked which were the most popular and tried the spinach and ricotta, spicy beef, and nortena which was potatoes inside! they're fully stuffed and soo warm and delicious especially with their chimichurri sauce which I wish they gave more of! I got 3 for just under $10.

Craving spicy beef empanadas, still delicious . They're always fresh and perfectly toasty. Excellent service too.

The best empanada was the pineapple and cheese. Though that sounds like a weird combo, trust that it was strangely delicious. That is, if you like pineapple and if you like cheese. I wanted to love the other flavors but sadly, I've had my fill of empanadas and this spot, inside of the liquor store, is a bit odd .

Very delicious !! Authentic Argentinian empanadas and alfajores! The restaurant is just hidden in a liquor store.

Truly authentic Argentinian empanadas. The place is hidden inside a licor store, the place looks extra clean which I like. The lady that gave me my food was probably the owner and she reminded me that is I place my order directly with her, the food is a little cheaper. The empanada were so good, sorry, didn't take a picture because we ate them so fast.

Thanks to fellow Yelpers, I found this out of the way place that just happens to be fantastic. Don't be deterred by its back of a liquor store location. Heritage House Liquor which has been around as long as I remember. It's one of the old school Tustin places that make Tustin Tustin - not you, Tustin Ranch. I doubt you will find better empanadas anywhere, and they serve quite a variety of them. They serve also sandwiches and pizza, both of which I intend to try based on my experience with the empanadas. There are a few small tables if you want to eat there, but It's mostly take out. My empanadas traveled well on the 15 minute drive home. For my first time, I chose the beef empanadas served, of course, with house made chimichurri sauce. Three of them at $3.00 each were plenty to fill me up. The service is very friendly. Be sure to tip. It's a good place all the way around.

Stop by to check out this hidden gem located at the back of the liquor store. I got my order to go, but you can sit to eat there as well as it is very spacious with many tables. The empanadas were light and delicious. The chimichurri they give you on the side takes the food to another level!

Los he amado muchos años.

Parking was not too difficult…read morein the lot and though the restaurant is not that large we were able to get a table for 5 walking in at 5:30PM. Service was friendly but this particular night there was only one server for the entire restaurant so we had to wait a while to get our order taken plus we were never checked on so we had to wait a while to ask for water later and a really long time before we got our checks. The interior is colorful with faux windows on the wall and nice "Colombia" letters above the register. The menu is extensive though prices NOT listed on the paper menus. Food is slightly on the more expensive side but portions are decent in return. We ordered empanadas, jugo de lulo, aguapanela con limón, mondongo, and bistec a caballo. I also sampled some of their arepa con queso, bandeja paisa, and picada dishes that our friends ordered. Unfortunately, the restaurant was out of many drinks and also sold out of desserts. The mondongo was excellent and piping hot, but I am a big fan of tripe; it was served with rice and shredded cabbage. The bistec a caballo came as a large piece of steak and was bathed in a flavorful sauce and came with rice, a cup of beans, and a fried egg. The drinks and empanadas were also tasty. Overall, it was an excellent meal other than slightly subpar service on this visit. I would love to return on Fridays for their ajiaco, and Sundays for their sancocho!

That doesn't mean anything to me. I'm sure they prepare for the audits in advance but I got sick after eating their food. Maybe the meat or cheese was rotten for that day but I wouldn't be here writing this review for no reason. It's 12:31pm 04/15/25 and I have not stopped throwing up. Cochinita Pibil: When you unwrap the banana leaves, the prize is the pork shoulder that has been smoked for 12 hours. Grab some of the insanely tender pork with the warm and supple blue corn tortillas. Add some achiote-sour orange braising juice, pickled onions and watermelon radishes. Top it with the avocado puree and salsas. Also add some black charred habanero sauce, whose fiery heat puts this dish over the top. Pulpo al Guajillo: The grilled octopus is lightly charred and crispy, and nice and meaty on the inside. The garbanzo bean puree is like the smoothest creamiest hummus. The diced chayote is similar to young potatoes with a little crunch. Crumbled red chorizo enhances the savoriness of the ingredients. And the hoja santa gremolata is a medley of green herbal flavors. Ceviche Campeche: The cubes of striped bass and octopus are delicate and soft, combined with yellow and red cherry tomatoes, onions, cilantro, scoops of avocado, avocado mousse, cucumber, watermelon radish, and leche de tigre. The zing from the lime juice and the crunch of the blue tortillas makes for a perfect bite. Tamal Colado: This is a deconstructed tamal. The masa is molded into a slender rectangular block. The consistency of the masa is like pudding, just really soft and creamy. Chile braised lamb shank is placed on the masa. Then, an herby tangle of carrot tops and sorrel leaves go on top. On either side are clumps of crunchy cucumber-mint xni pek and silky hazelnut muhammara. Parrillada Yucatan: If you are still hungry, this mixed grill plate will do the job.
