Calamari
Luis S.

Glad i walked in to check this place out. I love Peruvian food and go to a bunch in Los Angeles and the greater area so i wanted to come see this place for myself. Always have to start with a Inca kola and fried calamari and it didn't disappoint. The fact that they put onions and tomatoes on top of the calamari was a nice surprise and their aji was excellent. You do get bread served in the beginning but no butter , but that's ok since the aji is there. Went with the steak tallarin and it was very good, every peruvian place differs in the noodle they use and this one was a little different but the flavor was there. They have an excellent menu and look forward to going back for the pescado macho plate. Service was awesome, friendly staff and the food came out pretty fast. Nice table seating inside as well as the side patio, it looks like there isnt enough seating but there is. They have all the basics and even a great kids menu as well. Def going back again .

Wow I'm not a fan of lamb, but this place had everything going on ... We LOVED all 4 dishes, really fantastic!!! There's 5 adults here and we all were happy with taste, portion and price was fair. Omg even the flan was perfectly creamy. Top everything off, Patricia was very welcoming and informative of our questions cuz it was our first time here. We would recommend this place and hope you meet Patricia, she was pleasant and sweet.

Upon walking in we were greeted by extremely friendly Alex. We were also offered their complimentary bread with Peruvian sauce (normally would be too spicy, but I handled it). They were ready to take order for us but unfortunately we are not Peruvian cuisine experts so we had to ask for some recommendations (other than what we saw from Yelp). He suggested the Lomo Salgato and tamarins verdes con pol I think I met the owner. I can't remember how we got to talking but she made recommendations we ended up loving! The Pisco Sour consisted of pisco, lime juice, and pasteurized egg whites, blended with ice - we happened to come on a Thursday (happy hour for $9)! She suggested substituting lime with passion fruit and so we did. It was 5/5!!! I want that to be my go-to drink from now on. So refreshing! She said it was a signature Peruvian drink. Eating here was an experience and we enjoyed the food.

The food was great! The ambiance was clean and inviting. The service was exemplary! Everything was cooked to perfection. The meat on my beef saltado could use a little more quantity on my plate instead of more fries. The highlight of meal was the bistec and fried rice. It truly is authentic and so good. We will definitely be back for more food. Parking is a bit challenging though.

Please keep in mind I am not Peruvian expert by any means- so if you're looking for a review on authentic food, unfortunately, I cannot provide that. However, for my first time trying Peruvian food I was very impressed with this place! The two owners were the sweetest, and sat our large party quickly outside. They served us with warmth, grace and humor. The outside seating was beautiful, and they have heaters and aesthetic lighting provided. Every single plate we ordered was delicious, and I felt the portion sizes were more than fair. When it comes to desserts, I highly recommend the flan. I'm not even a flan type of person typically and this was delicious. Please be aware that the sauce provided with the bread is spicy, it's not an avocado cream sauce like I had assumed. Thank you for the beautiful experience!

Hubby and i are happy there's a Peruvian restaurant in Tustin! We have tasted Peruvian food in Palm Desert as well as Portland, OR. We were too late for the Lunch Specials on our first visit. The complimentary bread slices and spicy Aji Verde sauce were a nice starter. Hubby chose Lomo Saltado that he's enjoyed in the past. I selected the Chicken Inka Special. The yellow chili/garlic sauce was tasty and not overly spicy. The next time, we came for dinner. I got a beef empanada and a spinach/mozzarella empanada. They came with a nice chili lime dipping sauce. I tried the Maracuya Peruvian drink, which features passion fruit. Hubby added Aguadito soup to his Lomo Saltado dinner. Hubby thinks the price is a little high for the portion sizes, but I did not think they were excessive. Our server was pleasant, and she answered our questions about the food and their other 4 locations readily. This restaurant is small, but compact. It is on a busy street near the 5 freeway, and the parking lot fills up quickly.

Complimentary bread and aji sauce

We went here for my birthday earlier today and I am honestly a bit disappointed. I love inka mama's but this new location was a bit of a downer. The aji sauce was a bit watery. The bread was normal. My issue comes with asking for some room temperature water and not getting it until asking for it two more times. My go to dish is shrimp saltado, and this was just okay. I don't know how to explain it but saying it was fresh but not. The rice seemed a little old. The dish was missing that greatness I am used to. I also seemed rushed. They brought the check as we were eating even though there wasn't a rush inside. Then they picked up plates with bread and sauce even though it was still being eaten. Not sure why they wanted us out. Odd.

The perfect dish. Llomo saltado with just the right amount of rice. Don't forget the green sauce.
Dennis C.

I came here with coworkers for lunch on a day I was craving Peruvian food. This is a great restaurant from the art of the walls to the great food. Of course I did the llomo saltado. They do the plate really good here. The green sauce makes it all the better! Don't forget to order yourself a inka cola to go with your meal. The service was great and the food came out at a relatively good time. We left more than satisfied. Absolutely delicious.

The restaurant has plenty of seating and a good view of the outside shopping centers. It has a nice vibe especially if you're doing a dinner and they have a nice cultural influence. Service was amazing, the host was checking in often and the food came out in good time. The food overall was decent. Honestly I've had Peruvian food with more flavor profiles and payed a little less, the chicken was a little dry and did not have that Peruvian, you usually get some good spices and citrus with Peruvian food and it felt closer to fajitas with French fries. The yuca fries were actually done really well but came with no sauce or dip and the empanadas were good but fell apart t very quickly. The filling was good and there was a whole green olive inside that had more flavor than the meats. I would have chopped up the green olive, and integrated it more. Lastly the fried rice was pretty good to be honest ... I think that was the best thing I had while there but it did need some of that spicy kick. Overall I would return to Inka but it will not be my first choice for Peruvian food.

The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, with a bright and colorful space and both indoor and outdoor seating. I chose to sit inside and really enjoyed the ambiance. For food, I ordered a variety of empanadas: steak and mushroom, chicken, and a steak empanada served with amarillo dressing. The steak and mushroom was my personal favorite, so flavorful and perfectly cooked. I also had the huancaína potatoes, which were absolutely delicious, and paired everything with a chicha morada that was incredibly refreshing and tasty. Before heading out, I grabbed some alfajores cookies, and they were so good. Even though it's about a 15-20 minute drive for me, it's completely worth it. I will definitely be back again soon.

Since we had never tried Peruvian food before, we decided to give this place a try -- and we're so glad we did! As soon as we walked in, we noticed the ocean-inspired décor -- seashore elements, fish, seashells, and fishing nets on the walls. It gave the restaurant an exotic charm and made the cozy space feel warm and inviting. We ordered the signature Ceviche 19, Pulpo a la Parrilla, Arroz con Mariscos, and Tamal -- definitely more than enough food for the two of us, but we wanted to try a variety of dishes. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. The moment we saw the generous portions and smelled the aromas, I had a feeling we had found a hidden gem. Every dish tasted delicious, and some flavors even reminded me of food we enjoyed in Spain. It's honestly hard to pick a favorite because everything was so good. The ceviche came with such generous portions of fish -- it felt like fillets from an entire fish! The Pulpo a la Parrilla was unique and beautifully prepared, with a variety of vegetables including tomatoes, potatoes, green onions, and huge Peruvian corn. The Arroz con Mariscos was rich and flavorful, and the seafood tasted incredibly fresh. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to bringing family and friends back to try it!

I've been going to Bella Cuba since I've lived in the OC the area for the past few years and…read morediscovered a love for their Cuban food. The high level and consistency of service and amazing food I had every time going to Bella Cuba is truly unique. Regardless if its just a simple lunch break, birthday dinner with friends, or anniversaries; I've spent a lot of time at this restaurant and have never had a bad time. So much so, that when it came time to figure out a caterer for my wedding Bella Cuba was my first phone call. Nick and his father Antonio were upfront with me about having never catered a wedding (we had 150 guests!) before even though they've catered other large events. I was convinced with their food and level of service that they would do an great job, and once the day came they did not disappoint. We got a little bit of everything: salad, garlic bread, beans, rice, garlic shrimp, pollo asado, and the oxtail! Nick coordinated with us every step of the way for months prior to our wedding. He even stayed for the whole wedding to make sure the food was served properly! One of the big takeaways from our wedding from all our guests and vendors was that they've never had better food at a wedding, and I think that's a testament to Nick and the whole staff's work ethic and attention to detail to their level of service and great quality of food and ingredients. My only wish is that my wife and I had more leftovers for ourselves, but the look on our guests faces when they got to take home the extra ox tail was worth it. Now, whenever my wife and I go back to the restaurant we're reminded about our fun wedding, and the food and service is always just as great. My wife highly recommends the oxtail. Being a vegan myself I always go with one of the vegetarian specials (They're vegan!) as I love the beans and yucca. I can't recommend this restaurant enough, 10 out of 10 for everything, you won't be disappointed!

HOW THEY FIX MISTAKES AND MADE THINGS RIGHT…read more I eat here from time to time and the food is excellent as well as the customer service which is second to none. I ordered the garlic chicken to go. However, when I got to work I realized they accidently have me two boxes of rice and and beans. I gave them a call, told them about it, and it was no big deal. I totally understand the lunch rush and all the boxes look the same. We're all human. This isn't the zombie apocalypse. I'll survive . That being said it was it was really how well they handled the situation. I returned there after work and we had a good laugh about it. Not only did they gave me the full correct order but also realized I like that lemony flavor of Cuba, but they also have a me a really nice dinner to go for me evening. And yes the lemony pork was absolutely delicious. There was no hesitation, no dispute, just all smiles acne appreciation from both of us. So to sum it up it really wasn't the mistake. It was HOW THEY MAKE YOU FEEL and how they take care of you as a customer. a now loyal custom for years to come.
