Has a huge craving for Mediterranean food and found this place when i was browsing Yelp! I decided to create my own bowl with: Rice, Spring Mix, Pesto Chicken, and all the veggies. As for sauces / spreads, i had 2 scoops of tzatziki and 1 scoop of lemon artichoke hummus (max 3). My last set of sauces were pesto, Moroccan hot sauce, and garlic sauce. With tax, the total came out to be nearly $18.50 a little on the pricier side. All the flavors paired together so well, extremely flavorful! The portions are really good too because I still had leftovers to take back and still tasted fresh after a weekend in the fridge. The only thing I noticed were that the rice still was slightly hard. I'm not sure if the time I came (around 12pm) didn't give them enough time to let the rice cook more or maybe needed more water. Other than that, the staff member that served me was super kind and friendly, he kept checking in on me to make sure everything was good. So sweet! Hummus Way so far has been the answer to finding a much better CAVA. This place looks like it could be a franchise but it's not yet. You get larger portion with quality ingredients. I've been to this location on a few occasions and at each visit Carlos offers wonderful customer service. At my last visit I tried fish and chips and I was able to see Carlos personally hand-battering the fish as a made to order item. This allows for freshness and flavor over packaged Frozen breaded fish. On a previous occasion I tried one of their bowls and was able to select and customize the bowl the way I wanted it to be. The price is reasonable, but also on the higher end as this is not fast food. The location is maintained well and the service kitchen appears very clean. I came here with a couple of my coworkers and it was our first time here. We came at a good time when it wasn't busy and there were maybe two or three tables occupied. There were a couple customers who came to get takeout and left while we were checking out the various menus. We ordered our food at the register and Carlos bought our plates out to us. Carlos was very kind and explained all of the menu options. You can build your own bowl or wraps or choose from different combinations. Carlos gave us samples of the different types of lemonade, which I found all refreshing. My favorite was the peach drink. I got the number one combo of chicken and ground sirloin kebab. Honestly, for the price point, I thought it was on the higher end for quick service type of food. Next time, I think I'll try the bowls or wrap which is a little more work lunch friendly for my wallet. As for the taste, my favorite part of my entrée was the hummus, and the salad was good. The beef was flavorful, but the texture was a little different than I'm used to but not in a bad way. The chicken was all right and seasoned nicely. The portions seemed a little small for the price. My coworkers said they liked their meals and we would come back. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and it was clean and inviting. Carlos was very engaging as there were no other customers that came after us right away. He was so kind and friendly and gave us coupons to return. The guy that was working finished up with the walk in customer who was already there and quickly went to prepare our food. Before handing our order to us, he even read back our entire order as he was packaging it - great, friendly customer service. When we got home, the food portions were plentiful and we were ready to dig in. Boyfriend ordered the Chicken and Beef Steak Kabob entree and I got a wrap with Lemon Artichoke Hummus, Spring Mix, Pesto Chicken Shawarma, Sumac Onions, Tabbouleh, Pickled Beets, Cucumbers, Lemon and Olive Oil, and White Garlic Sauce. Then I have options of hummus, garlic sauce, and then I asked for my dish to be spicy and it sure was. This place is like a Mediterranean Chipotle. Wow, this place is a hidden gem, but EVERYTHING was delicious. We went in for an early dinner and my son and I split the chicken & filet skewer combo. The meat was on par with some of the best Persian restaurants I've been too, and since I married into a Persian family I've been to a lot. Very attentive service from the nicest person who greeted us immediately after walking in. I was given an overview of their menu, and we decided on the Blackened Grilled Salmon and Chicken skewer plate, but they had several other good choices as well. Grilled it right in front of us and wonderfully presented to us. There was a minor adjustment to how it was cooked, but they were quick to adjust it to our liking and with a smile.
