I had my pool built by Infinite Pools about eight years ago. Within two years, the concrete deck started sinking. It took multiple conversations and a lot of back-and-forth before Frank finally agreed to pour another slab. Now, four years later, the same issue is happening again, and the concrete needs to be replaced once more. At this point, it's clear that this is not just bad luck--it appears the original build was not done correctly. There was no proper support or retaining wall in place, which likely caused these ongoing problems. I understand warranties and time limits, but realistically, it should not take three pours to get the job done right. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and hoped the first repair would fix the issue long-term. Unfortunately, it didn't. When I reached out this time, they essentially put their hands up and offered no real help, other than giving me their contractor's contact information. No accountability, no real solution. We hired these folks to do a very large project. Sizable pool with a lot of concrete decking and walkways. The end result is our own personal "backyard resort". The best part about the experience was the project manager Corey. His communication and demeanor made all of it feel comfortable. We expected to have some hiccups with a job this size but they were kept to a minimum and any issues were quickly resolved. Mainly pool equipment stuff that was covered under warranty. People can't believe it when I tell them we broke ground on May 15th and were swimming by Labor Day. Corey has checked in from time to time since completion to make sure all is good. Haven't heard from the big boss but he made it clear in the beginning that "Corey is the man" and he was right. I should say Infinites quote was the highest by a good margin. But we pay for Quality, clarity and direction here. I cannot say enough about Frank & his team. During our first meeting with him for an estimate, Frank listened to what we wanted & had a few suggestions to add that told us he was our guy. We canceled the next estimate appointment with a different contractor once we saw his 3D mock up of our future pool. Our building process was on time & seamless. His team even came out to demo our backyard & then had to wait until our room addition was complete before they came back to start the dig & the rest of the project. My husband & I made a mistake by not having a step added by the spa in the original blueprints. Frank found a way to add it even after the shotcrete had been completed. We also needed to push back the retaining wall for extra space. No problem for the Infinite team!! Everything came out SO beautiful!! My wife and I used Infinite Pools for a pool remodel and we couldn't be happier with the results. Frank's team finished the project on time and on budget, they added a Baja step, new tile and coping. It's been over two years since they finished the remodel, and we are still just as happy with it today as we were the day they finished. It wasn't till after the initial 1 star review I left did a week ago I get a call from one of Franks former employees who now works for another company doing similar work. He came out and said that the issue was someone forgot to do the work when the pool Was originally built and pool tile was set. So how that construction error isn't covered because I bought the home a year after the pool was built is beyond me. A former employee of yours said you guys messed up. End of story. Another thing, I'm in the service business. And if we come out and work on your home, the work is warranties, not the person who lives in the home. We are putting our warranty behind our work. That's what solid businesses do. We back our workmanship. That's why this state gave us a license. We also found out that the Deco seal was done incorrect, the tile grout was done poorly and needs to all be redone, and the original issue with the cover inside the pool skimmer that your not claiming is your fault. Own it man. It's costing me near $1700 to have it all repaired. All things done by your company with poor workmanship. Your excuse not transferring over the warranty to new homeowners is BS. Do you think I'm the one doing maintenance on the pool? It's the same company since the pool was built whom you probably referred to the last owners! Jeff designed an amazing pool for us and only took him a few time to redo our complicated design the way that I wanted. Since I'm in the design field myself, I can be very particular to every small little details. Jeff answered to my all email and text quickly. This is our first time building a pool. Jeff was so patient and went through every details and explained all the steps. It seems like most big pools companies in Riverside area use the same sub contractors. We were super excited to get project started and felt comfortable in the beginning but there were so many hiccups during project. 1/2 way thru the project manager was fired & a new one hired and brought in, who had to pick up from the mess that the project manager before him left undone. I did not like the cement crew/ masonry crew they contracted out to. They were unprofessional and not communicating with project manager so they would randomly show up or randomly not show up when they were supposed to and I was not happy overall with their work. Very sloppy and left a mess they never cleaned up! Owner needs to find better crew for that part of project. Also, owner was very unprofessional & I've never had a man make me cry or talk down to me the way he did. I did not want anything to do with him after that & almost cancelled contract but let my husband deal with him for rest of project. I've had at least 4 people ask for info on company who did my pool but I told them not to use infinite pools & just shop around. I know big projects like this can be stressful but I never thought that an owner of any company would be so unprofessional make their clients cry, no matter how high tensions are. It took me a while to leave a review and it has been 9 months since project has been completed and I'm already noticing some stone work cracking Which confirms that the crew he hired is messy and does not do a job well! Called to have someone give us a quote and it took weeks for someone to get in touch with us. Someone finally came out and met with us and said that it would be 2 weeks to get a quote together. After 5 weeks he called and arranged a Zoom call with us to go over his quote and designs. The day of our scheduled Zoom he called and cancelled and said that he would call the next day to reschedule. We have yet to hear from him and have signed a contract with another company. It took a little longer than expected but it was understandable due to these covid times.
