The pool presented an array of challenges, beginning with a copper fire/water feature installed inside the saltwater pool. This unfortunate combination led to the corrosion of the gas line. I also had the persistent issue of water seepage due to inadequate tile work throughout the infinity-edged pool and spa. For over a year, I tried in vain to find someone willing to take on the job. Fortunately, my regular pool maintenance guy met Marco and Shane while working on another pool and he suggested I contact them for help. Aquatic solutions replaced the gas line, and built pedestals for the new fire/water features so they were no longer susceptible to corrosion. They plastered and retiled the pool beautifully. But they didn't stop there. They installed a mesh screen to make the water on the laminar jets flow more smoothly. They replaced malfunctioning pentair pool lights and synced them so the lighting features worked. They worked every day (and sometimes on Saturdays!) to make sure everything was done right. Shane and Marco are the two best liars in this pool industries. I signed the contract to build a brand new pool on April 1, 2021 and they just told us that they can build a pool in mid august. They weren't going to tell us the truth until I questioned about the progress in depth. Shane had told me they were working for the city approval in early may but when I asked for the proof in august, he confessed that he never got the approval. He also was going to send a digging alert person out in august so we believed him. After reviewing my home security camera, we noticed no person was ever shown in my backyard, I questioned him how come your digging alert person is not visible to my home security camera, did he even come out? After dealing with his multiple lies and delays, Shane and Marco finally sent me an email that they were having trouble with materials of pebble coating, pulling a city permit and severe equipment delays. Wish they have told us the truth in the beginning, not after four months of waiting. If Shane was sharing the truth about difficulties through out the process, we would have been understanding, but he was always telling us, "no problem", "you will hear a good new from me soon", "sure, you will have a brand new pool by October" etc. and giving us the false hope. Listen Shane and Marco!! You should stop advertising that you can make a brand new pool when you can not. Shane, you are the worst person with following up with my emails, text messages and thank you for the worst experience ever. I now know your 4.5 star rating on Yelp is definitely falsely rated. This is my second time posting a review. I posted a review about a month ago and I don't see it anymore. I do not recommend A&S Aquatic Solutions. The do not honor their warranty. Shane & Marco are also unprofessional and do not return your call or respond to your text messages (even though you can see that they read the message). In addition, the mastic work was horrible. The coping was painted with interior paint. When I brought it to their attention, they just wiped it down with a solution and painted over it with exterior paint. It is now starting to peel and they are ignoring my calls. I also thought my pool might be leaking and they were supposed to come out but they never did. Lastly, they charged me more than what they quoted me. During demo, the stairs needed to be redone with they never told me that was going to be an extra charge of $900. Very disappointed. read more

I had never owned a pool before and when going to local stores I feel like they were using scare tactics to sell me a whole lot of chemicals and other pieces of equipment I did not need to get my pool in top shape. Aquatic solutions stalled all that for me gave me the knowledge I needed to take care of the pool myself without extra items that are frivolous. I can easily take care of the pool myself instead of having to hire someone for a couple hundred bucks a month for probably less service than I can do. I had my pool drained my tiles resurfaced and my filters cleaned out and then they taught me how to do maintenance cleaning and changing and all about my equipment. After they had left I still text them now and then with questions and they respond well I really appreciate it. I think they have a high value as overtime I will save a lot of money. read more

I swear what I'm about to say "Is the truth and only the truth so help me God!" Actually I have so many positive things to say that I really don't know where to begin. We just moved from L.A.County to Corona and had no idea who the best companies was to call in our area. When we moved into our home we soon learned that the beautiful pool was a MESS & Inoperable. Nothing worked the control panel was D.O.A and all the electrical had been cut and the pool plumbing was actually like a rubrics cube. If you wanted to start the jacuzzi or any other function you had to follow the arrows painted on the pipes!! I'm not kidding! This is our 4th pool home so we are pretty sure of pool problems and the cost but this pool was another story. Shane & Marco gave us a quote that was a little higher than we anticipated but they were so knowledgeable we hired them and I'm glad we did. These guys are so skilled and their crew was on top of everything. They fixed what needed to be fixed and then some. They did all the rewiring which was a challenge due to the wiring being underground. They also patched a 18" hole in the rock but didn't stop there they patched the rock all the way across. The optical lighting was so out dated they were unable to put new lights in so they patched the holes were the old lights were and put in a big flood light in in which they had to cut a hole in the rock. The flood light now faces the slide and the surrounding hill so our landscape now shines in the dark. How awesome is that! It's hard to find business theses days that are honest and doesn't gouge the customer and put the customer first. Our pool is being refilled as I speak and I'm so proud of the way it all turned out. The crew was so helpful and cleaned up their daily mess every night before leaving. Kind, respectful and non stop working. I tried giving them cookies but they were to busy to eat them. I received multiple quotes from several contractors and most gave me the same song and dance. We can do whatever you want concrete everything remodel pool as you please it's going to take anywhere from 2 to 3 months. Reached out to A&S Aquatic and here comes Shane to not only listen to what we wanted but actually provide feed back. He explained why we shouldn't concrete our entire backyard in terms of not producing much heat but also to adhere to city ordinances. He also explained his vision for our pool which really made an impression. Finally the golden question how long from start to finish? A month!!!! I said is that a contractors month that really means two months and he looked me dead serious and said no a month is what it's going to be. He never pressured us in any way. He shook our hands left and said give me a call. My wife and I decided then and there if we were going to continue to remodel it would be with Shane. Contacted Shane next day said let's pull the trigger he said I'll pencil you in to meet Marco and start the job in three weeks. I said do you need a deposit he said I trust you let's plan on it. In the following week before we even met Marco I contacted Shane no less then three times to change the game plan due to budget constraints and he never once was frustrated. Even when I was frustrated with myself lol. He was always a true professional and even came back out to us to go over the game plan again. Finally once we settled we met Marco. Marco walked our backyard and gave us the fine details and insight into how the project would go and what our pay structure would look like. He always valued our opinion and kept us well informed. Once our project started it was a rocket. The teams that all came in are professional, courteous and respectful. To say these guys worked hard to complete the project not only on but AHEAD of schedule is an understatement. It was not uncommon for a crew to be working 10 hour days even on a Saturday. Throughout Marco always made time for any questions and kept in constant communication. He visited the site daily and he gave us suggestions that we never thought of. He also made subtle changes that we didn't ask or get charged for that REALLY made a great difference. He added steps to our pool equipment, outlets and extra drains without even asking and needless to say now that we are using the pool all of these things where game changers that we just didn't think about. Post project they have checked in with us to make sure everything is good and really care about their pool. I say that because that's what you get when you hire them. Both Shane and Marco arrived and thoroughly inspected my pool and equipment. They wrote up a quote and I started with a new speed variable pump and filter. Ten months later they returned because we decided to go ahead with a new heater and a pool remodel. The original prices were honored and work began at the time scheduled. Each step, beginning with draining the pool and ending with two visits from a super pool maintenance gentleman went as scheduled. Every employee we encountered during the process were kind and professional. The pricing was fair and my pool looks amazing! My wife and I requested a quote for a pool at our house. Easily $100k job for what we wanted. We were recommended by someone in the neighborhood that had done work on their pool. First meeting, Shane didn't show up at the right time scheduled so I had to rush from work to the house. The work once there seemed fine so no harm no foul. Said 2 weeks we would have a design and a quote. Set the next meeting date. As we waited we sent a 3 text messages over the to him just to check in on progress, ideas, and that we were really excited to see what he had! No response. Nothing. Meeting date came around no show. Called his partner Marco to ask if he had heard from him and if we can expect to hear back which he said yes. No call back from either Shane or Marco. Proceeded to call Shane again no answer or call back. Messaged Shane again no response. Called Marco again no answer left vmail this time. No Call back. We could have been getting other quotes or designs done but instead these two guys just wasted my wife and I's time and completely ruined the experience for us.
