Unfortunately, I have to write an update. Originally I had used Jonathan and he was great. After a while, he had transferred our services over to a friend without so much as a discussion or a heads up. I just noticed someone new coming to maintain our pool and I had to go out and introduce myself and that's when the new pool guy informed me of the change. This is just completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Regardless whether the new pool guy was a good fit or not - I should've been informed of this change and given the chance to meet the new guy and vet him before I agree to the changes. Not sure how this happened and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else because giving someone access to your home is a extremely personal and for someone to do it without your consent is quite alarming as it shows no respect for your property or privacy. read more

Our pool was not getting maintained by our previous service for the past month, the pool vacuum was clogged, and the pool was turning green and full of leaves. Here's my experience: We had another incident where my pump was leaking. I contacted Moises whom Jonathan sent the 1st time so I assumed I was using the same business for my repair. Moises did a repair which I paid for and told me to contact him if problem persist. My pump was still leaking and after a week of trying to get in contact w Moises I contacted Jonathan. Jonathan replies and says he just found out that Moises moved out of state so I explained my situation and asked if Jonathan can help me. Jonathan's reply was that Moises is not his employee and that he'll try to contact Moises to see if he can send someone to me. I was having a problem with my pool water - getting cloudy, algae build up and filter not circulating water or doing a good job. My current pool guy kept telling us they just cleaned the filter and that it was fine and that the water was circulating. So we finally decided to get a second opinion and called Jonathon of JD Pool on Thursday. He came out right away on Saturday morning. He inspected our filter and found that many of our DE filter panels were either broken or mesh was torn. Thus why even after our existing pool guy would clean the filter it would quickly clog up and stop efficiently circulating water. Anyhow Jonathon replaced all the filter panels, added new DE and cleaned our pool. And walah water is now circulating, we have our spa spillway working and most importantly the water is looking crystal clean again.
