I messaged Roberto via Yelp for a pool estimate in Blythe for a home purchase where a realtor was to meet him on-site. After agreeing to inspect the pool, spa, and equipment on Friday, 04/24, he wouldn't respond on the phone to a time and date. So, again on Saturday, 04/25/2026, I reached him on Yelp and he agreed to schedule someone to go to the house on Monday, 04/27/26 for a FREE estimate. ROBERTO NEVER LOOKED UP THE ADDRESS TO REALIZE HE WAS 4 HOURS AWAY, NEVER EVEN WENT, AND THEN LIED TO ME ON MONDAY AFTERNOON THAT: "You know, my guy has like 3 jobs, so when he come back, I let you know." Roberto is a PRO...he took our pool in Petaluma (that was under contract with another company unable to rid it of algae)...and had it clean as a whistle in a few days! I ended this service two months ago. Paid nearly $7k for an entire pool system and still I have issues with the pool. Robert isn't punctual at all and even when I told him his guys weren't showing up. He placed a tracker on his trucks and notice( after multiple clients told him) his employee wants doing his rounds.. when I told Robert "I told you he wasn't coming" he just said yeah I'm sorry but now I let him go and have better guys. His employees (several on different) occasions told me that Robert and his brother sold part of the business to another company.. but that they never show up to pools anymore they just send their team or their son (who doesn't want to work according to the employee) if my old pool man had not had health issues and retire.. I would never have had to push out a fraction of what I did with these guys. In the beginning, they're wonderful.. But after that, be ware!! You'll need to micromanage everything this team does. I want to update my previous review. After everything was clarified, I learned that the lack of communication was due to an accident, which is completely understandable. When he finally came out to do the jacuzzi spa service, he went above and beyond. He helped me troubleshoot the issue and took the time to identify an electrical problem that was causing the trouble. He was very knowledgeable, honest, and even offered to help further if the warranty doesn't cover the electrical issue. Overall, great service and professionalism. About 2 may be 3 years a go I reached out to Roberto for pool remodel. Basically change some tiles around the pool and install new pool lights. I supplied the tiles and basically labor to install and parts and labor for light. They did good jobs on tiles and pool light. But not sure if lights were what they said for brand. I might be over charged but at the end of day my pool had little face lift with new lights. I'm happy with that service!! Problem is 2nd part of cleaning the pool weekly. Long story short we agreed to lump sum upfront for year with service with 2 to 3 times of year filter cleaning. Honestly I feel I didn't get that service and I had to haggle him if they cleaner were coming every week. Some time I check my pool camera and not seeing any activity in the pool area but according to Robert guy is coming to clean. Not sure how many cleaner came through my house.... 2nd year because chemicals cost were going up they wanted extra 200 per year. Understandable so I agreed. But again same story as last year. One day I was laying on pool and house guest were in the pool and saw what they were doing to clean the pool. Very simple and easy!! I could do it myself!!! I'm going to pocket that in my bank!!! Prompt quick service he said he would be at my home at a certain time and he was there on time.He installed my pool pump and programmed it he left it purring like a kitten,well when I woke up and waited for the pump to turn on the next morning there was only silence oh oh I thought,I text him on Sunday and he returned my text with a phone call immediately. In end of May, I hired Robert to service our pool which would be scheduled each Friday. In the 8 weeks since, service has happened in only 5 of the weeks, and has been on time only 3 times. I actually have to remind him by text of my appointments otherwise the service wouldn't have even happened those 5 times. His crew often does not show up as scheduled or show up at all. Robert has a habit of telling me he's coming himself around a general time, and will no-show without any warning. I wouldn't hear back from him at all unless I contact him. Lastly, I had algae in my pool and he charged $280 to do two filter cleanings and backwashing. I'm not sure if he ever did the second cleaning. The algae issue is still here. I think Robert has decided to drop me, without any warning of course, because the last two weeks, no one has come to do my pool. Terrible! read more

I had just returning from being out of town and my husband still away on business I had the unfortunate problem with my pool not working. I called my husband who said to check the breakers, considering it was just after the recent rains, so he figured a break probably tripped. I started hitting breakers related to the pool, and still nothing. My husband was bummed he wasn't home to help so told me to reach out to a pool person. So I put out a Yelp request. Robert was one of the first to reached out to me. He came out early on a Monday morning, looked things over and noticed one breaker in particular (a twin breaker) I had missed. He was supposed to come out to fix the pump for 90.00 when I text to confirm he accused me of not paying and said the fee for the service is 210.
