We recently hired Rio Pool and Spa to renovate our older pool, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our pool had no coping, which led to cracked concrete and tiles constantly popping out due to earth movement. After getting three estimates, we chose Saul and his team at Rio Pool--not the cheapest, not the most expensive, but the most knowledgeable and reasonably priced. They correctly diagnosed the problem and proposed the right solution. He gave us a tile & stone catalog to choose from and invited us to the store to see materials in person but that wasn't necessary in our case. From start to finish, communication was solid. Saul was responsive and clear, and his crew was excellent--careful during demolition, precise with installation, and very respectful of our property. The project took about three weeks and was only delayed by a few rainy days, which was understandable. I appreciate that Saul set up a port-a-potty for the crew. The quality of the work really impressed us. The new coping looks great, the installation is solid, and the crew did a fantastic job cleaning up both the pool and the surrounding deck area when they were done. The guys at Rio fixed my pool plumbing! I have an older pool and a leaking skimmer, copper piping, and a non-working main drain. I would not use these guys, they have had to come back 3 times to fix leaks for a spa wall they fixed. The concrete was done so poorly that the owner came out after sending his apprentice to repair. Lied multiple times about his work and agreed it was not finished and told me an other contractor would lie and say his work was good. I am a contractor and I stand to my word. I am beyond unsatisfied with Rio pools and this guy does not stand behind his warranty. We are now having another contractor fix his work and seeking legal compensation. Our pool pump broke down so I needed a new one. Salvador came right away and gave me an estimate. He explained the pros and cons of different models so I could make the final decision. I also asked him about a water heater project and send me an estimate right away. All the prices were pretty similar to what other were quoting. I'm so thankful we found Rio Pools and Spa, not only because they did a great job but because they were the only company willing to do our small job.
