Man, I owed them a review since Feb but forgot the name of the business but finally found it. Our SPA was heating at 104 non stop and not sure what is wrong, we called and talked to the owner and he was so friendly, kind and professional and knew he head the real heart and intention to help us and not rush us off the call. The next day he sent some technician over with some young guy and not sure what they did or tested but got it working. All I can say is, when they say they are friendly they are for reals and not some sad blockbuster advertising company and so glad I called him. They didn't play any games with service fee, hidden fees and we've more glad to pay if they fix it, but u can tell right away the integrity is on another level. Now we need a new spa cover and will probably reply and ask for their expertise. Summary: Jim is very professional, knowledgeable, and does great work. I'll call him again if I need spa repair. My spa had been failing to heat consistently for months - it would heat for 10-15 minutes, then stop. I contacted quite a few spa repair places listed on here and didn't hear back from any of them - seriously, zero returned calls or messages after a day - and got Jim on the second ring. After explaining the problem to him, he walked me through a few troubleshooting steps and I sent him some pictures "to maybe save you some money" - I really appreciated that effort, even though after a bit it became clear that the issue wasn't fixable over the phone. He came by shortly to take a look - showed up as agreed and quickly gave the assessment: spa needed both a new pump and controller. He quoted a price and ETA for the parts, returned on the appointed day, and quickly got things installed and running as intended. He's one of a few spa repair men in OC and gave a reasonable estimate and then charged me less than the estimate because he finished faster than expected. I moved and my spa sat for 7 months. When I finally got the electrical connected my main pump would mint start. Jim gave me a fair estimate and used a higher quality part than others may have used. My jacuzzi stopped working a year ago and I had difficulty getting a repair person out to fix it, so I thought I'd reach out to Jim. He quickly answered my call and gave me suggestions to fix it myself. When that didn't work he arrived at my house exactly when he said he would (always appreciated) upon inspecting it he let us know that repairs on our 14 year old spa would start at about 2,000 and might go up from there (if it was fixable) it had water leaks. The timer finally went out in our almost 30-year-old spa, and our previous spa repair guys were all out of business. I found Jim on the intratubes and, once we were ready to go forward with repairs, he came out to eval our tub and provide an estimate. We liked the numbers and asked him to move forward with ordering the parts which only took about a week. He returned and completed the work and our tub is now singing along. The best part is Jim identified that we were missing a GFCI breaker for the spa wiring and that he strongly recommended we have our electrician install one. Called our guy and he agreed Jim was right and did us a solid by seeing something no one else did, breaker was installed yesterday. Honestly, you just don't get customer service like this anymore. Jim is of the most professional, kind, and easy going serviceman I have ever come across. Long story short, Jim was able to help me troubleshoot an issue with my brand new hot tub and refer me to another professional he has worked with for many years as the problem I had was more electrical than anything else. Both Jim and the other professional were able to work together to isolate the issue, make all necessary repairs, and help me figure out how to get replacement parts under my warranty while doing all of this for an extremely reasonable price and in record time.
