We've been using Beachfront for a little over 2 years. Paul is our point of contact but he's not the one that comes out for the maintenance. Last year, we needed our pool slide scrapped and re-coated as the initial construction of the slide was done poorly. We asked Paul if this is something his company does and he said yes. Tells us he'll send his stone guy to take a look at it. I emphasized that I wanted to use whatever material would last us the longest. He quoted us about $2k. It's steep, but we know Paul and trusted him (or so we thought). It has been a year almost exactly and the coating they did is now peeling. We reach out to Paul about remedying this and he's basically washing his hands of it, saying that he has no affiliation with the person/company he sent out and that he had called his stone guy. I've attached photos of what the slide looked like before, after, and now and part of our conversation where he explicitly stated his workers and not some referred outside company. We paid the invoice sent through Beachfront, not some 3rd party he claims to not be affiliated with. This is not to mention that our pool has had issues with algae for the last 2 months and they claim that it was a pipe leak which we paid for to be fixed and look at the state of our pool now still. I would stay far away from this company. I don't know why they have so many stars but my experience with Paul and Beachfront have been disappointing and expensive. read more

Great Service and Quick Responses We have been using Beachfront Pool Services for almost 2 years now. They are consistent with their service dates and times and they respond quickly whenever we have a question. Most recently, our pump stopped working and they informed us of the problem. They were able to provide a repair the next day. Unfortunately, it was not just the pump, but a short in our breaker box that they found and fixed as well. I had my pool covered all winter and when it was finally removed I was greeted with a green nightmare. I reached out to Paul during the weekend and he responded immediately. I first contacted Paul through Yelp and sent some photos and videos of the problem. The pool pump was broken and was making a loud whirring noise. After contacting a couple of other businesses, I decided to go with Paul because he was the cheapest option. California's has newly updated laws about pool pump efficiency - so I would just make sure to ask about this in the future. Mine ended up not being up to standard, but it is what I was willing to pay for at the moment. Paul told me there was a shortage in pool pumps so he had one delivered straight to my house. It came about a week later and someone was there to fix it right away. Beachfront was able to come out and take a look at our spa where the chemicals were all out of whack.
