We recently hired John & Andy to help with a couple things related to our newly acquired pool. Andy did the Pool & spa drain for us $250. All water was drained out within a day! After we filled it back with clean water, he added the chemicals to balance. Andy then cleaned out our dirty filter for $95. Andy then changed out 3 pool filter panels for us at $35 each. John came a couple days later on a separate visit to fix our pool light. He gave us some repair tips too so that was cool. They are friendly guys and responsive so we appreciate that. Missed weeks cleaning the pool. Our pool runs a single variable pump which is timed through a hub to turn on and off the pump. They turned on the pump and left it on without turning it back to auto which caused the pump to burn out after running nonstop for days when we were on vacation... Had to buy a new pump. I called Quan's Pool service, because the online customer reviews were fantastic. After a great phone consultation with John regarding my pool's problems, we scheduled an inspection of the my pool. John inspected the pool and found a few problems that were caused by lack of regular maintenance by my last pool service. John assessed the problems with my filtration system and water quality. My filter was caked with dirt and had broken filters and I also had very old water, which caused swimmers to feel itchy. My pool was blue, but in bad shape.
