I requested a number of bids to repair our leaking Pentair pump/motor, and Marcus was able to fit me in on the same day. I let him know what repairs others had recommended, and he confirmed that the seals and impeller needed to be replaced. However, he said the seal plate was fine, and did not need to be replaced at this time. I appreciated his honesty, as he could have charged us more for an unnecessary repair. While he was at our house, I also noted that one of the valves leaked when we ran the spa, and he quickly diagnosed and addressed the issue. Finally, after he left, I noticed that one of the connections (which he had removed to repair the pump and motor) was leaking. He ended up coming back multiple times to correct the problem (he ended up replacing a pinched o-ring), and he even checked in a few days later to ensure everything was working smoothly. Our 16-year old heater wouldn't ignite. Marcus came over, ran every imaginable technical test, results positive every time, still no ignition. He recommended we call the gas company to assure all was okay and suggested we'd probably need a new meter because ours was small for our house and pool.
