I service my pool myself but I was done with my old DE filter grids getting holes and spitting DE all over the pool. So I decided to get a cartridge filter installed since I didn't want to mess it up. I called numerous pool companies in yelp with great reviews but their install price was crazy high. When it comes to cleaning the filters you may clean them yourself or for an extra fee they'll do the cleaning for you. I called and spoke with Richard early on a Friday morning. Our pool pump needed to be replaced as soon as possible. Richard was so helpful. I had a small built in spa that looks like a little drywall pool. I was having algae issues and a previous pool person was not responding to my calls. It's not really worth their time. Richard came out and gave me different reasons why I was having trouble this summer with the algae. He put a treatment course into action, including a different algaecide he had that I bought and upping my chlorine. Next day, I he pool was almost completely normal. I haven't seen it like that for a couple of months. And it wasn't difficult to do, nor did I have to drain my pool again.
