Had my pool remodeled a year ago and I had the home automation system installed, I went wit the pentair system. For the life of me it would never work. I watched youtube videos, I read books I had my pool guy even look at it because he claimed he had a buddy who worked for pentair and he could figure it out either. Well I randomly found Lux Pool Services on yelp and saw the reviews and decided to give him a call. He came out, took a look at my system and immediately knew what was wrong. I had a new pool pump installed years ago when I moved into the house and it came with a special cable that you connect to the home automation box so that the box can control the pump. Because I did not have the pump and system installed at the same time that cable was lost. He went to his car and brought one and said unfortunately this is pretty pricey because they are hard to get, I immediately recognized the cable and went inside and brought it out, I remember keeping it for all those years. He quickly installed the cable, re programed my whole system and even looked at my heater and opened it up to make sure everything was working. Pools are a pain in the ass, especially broken equipment ones. I am a new homeowner and within 1 month of moving in I found that the pool equipment was badly deteriorated and some equipment such as the spa heater was broken and not working. I selected 3 pool repair companies on YELP and they came to my house to check my pool and give me quotes. I studied the quotes and products from the 3 companies and emailed them again to ask them some things, such as why I chose DE filter instead of Jandy CL460 Pro Series CL Series 460 SqFt, why some of the companies quoted items with Servo in the middle, and why some of the companies quoted items with Servo in the middle. The middle of the quoted item of the company contains Services - LABOR-TILE-BEAD-BLAST: Bead-blast of pool/spa tiles to remove mineral build-upe while your quoted item does not have this item and is replaced by other items, etc. Also, only LUX POOL SERVICES told me that I could get a $400 subsidy from the gas company to replace the spa heater. After comparing I finally chose LUX POOL SERVICES because this company was the only one that identified my questions and then gave me a detailed answer like a college paper. This is great and gives me the feeling that it is a serious and responsible company. This was also reflected in the subsequent maintenance of the pool, Mr. NENO work carefully, most of the work is done by himself, this is much better than other companies, other companies today to this guy A, tomorrow to that guy B, they will be confused between each other work is completed to which step. In addition, Mr. NENO does not smoke, nor does he throw away packaging or other garbage, and at the end of each day, he will organize his tools and put them in a place where they are not in the way. Finally, I attach a comparison between before and after the repair of my pool. To say what is the disadvantage of having LUX POOL SERVICES and NENO, I think it should be that he does not provide monthly pool maintenance work, because I want to hire him to come every month to help me maintain the pool water quality and cleaning pool work, hahaha. Well, I am very satisfied with this pool repair work at my home, I recommend this company, NENO is a great guy.
