About half full on a Sunday night. Menu has both vegetarian and meat items clearly labeled. Has curries, Indo-Chinese fare and other items. I got the mutton (goat) curry at medium spice level, which comes with a bowl of rice. Decent portions which some nice chunks of mutton. Very bold, salty and flavorful curry, full of spices. Has some heat but not too spicy. Others in my group ordered a few things with nice presentations. There's a veggie stir fried rice/noodles that was sizzling in a ball of cabbage leaves, and the shrimp dish is served in a wooden boat container. Both of those tasted good too. We ordered 2 curries, chicken korma and a goat curry. Both curries were nearly gray in color and not very flavorful (to be fair, we ordered them mild because my partner doesn't handle heat well, but I still expect much more flavor than what we got). The goat meat was tender and pretty good, but the chicken... the chicken was clearly cooked separately from the curry, potentially oven roasted, and then thrown into the korma almost as an afterthought. We heard a lot of great reviews for India Belly and decided to try it. We got Gobi Manchurian, India style fried rice, and India Belly Special Chicken. Gobi Manchurian and India style fried rice were good. While ordering we asked for a recommendation for a gravy item to go with the fried rice we were ordering and were told India Belly Special Chicken was their best and we should get it. The food is delicious! The butter chicken was so creamy and tasty. The spicy chili shrimp (medium heat) was a perfect blend of sweet & spicy and not too sticky, I literally could eat the sauce. The naan was fresh, fluffy and crispy and flavorful. I couldn't decide which I liked more the house special or garlic- they were both amazing and I had to be rolled out of there. Note: We had a reservation. Parking was limited. Visited this restaurant on a Friday evening around 7. We were a party of 3 and were seated quickly. The food arrived pretty quickly after we ordered. The restaurant was pretty full at that time . It's a small space and feels the seats are pretty close by.We ordered Pani puri (5/5)- it was refreshing and flavors were intact. Manchow Soup(5/5) -it tasted very different from the other restaurants and was yumm. Drumsticks(3/5)- it was tandoori and did not like the taste. Paneer pyaza(3/5)- taste wise it was not so great and it was extremely oily. Tandoori roti (3/5)- was hard and had tons of oil/butter. It depends on what you order. We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of a friend. Everything from the food to the ambiance and the service was truly top notch! We tried the Samosa and chai, Tandoori platter, India Belly chicken, Dilli Chaat and the tamarind margarita. Everything was lovingly prepared and presented with care. The quantity is also plentiful. We had Gobi Manchurian and paneer shashlik for appetizers. The best Manchurian I have ever tasted in the USA. Saucy and flavorful. Paneer shashlika was sizzling. For the main course we had 3 variety of bread - garlic naan, bullet naan and tandoori roti- Vegetable kadai and palak paneer curries. Palak paneer was creamy and very tasty. Dilli chaat was a lovely start, a bit of heat, some yogurt and the sweetness of the pomegranate- very pretty and a flavorful highlight delivered by some friendly folk. Next came the Holy Moly which is very red curry-like swith slight heat and a good foil to the Dilli chaat. We enjoyed the Palek paneer with its spinach flavor, salted to go well with their jasmine rice and the naan. Then the butter chicken came and it was a delicious cacophony of delicious. Quite possibly the best Indian food we've ever had. We had Dilli Chaat and Tangra Chilli Chicken (brought the heat!) with butter naan and rice. The Dilli Chaat had an amazing sauce. Let me start by saying I love Indian food and eat it often. I've been here twice and the food is pretty good but sadly they don't have raita (yogurt cucumber sauce) like literally every other Indian restaurant I've ever been to. Too bad bc I live within walking distance and would love to be a regular here but wo raita with my naan and entree (I put it on nearly everything) I keep leaving disappointed. The food in this restaurant is top-notch. I would compare it to the quality of the other Indian restaurant I really like - Kanishka restaurant in Redmond. Everything tastes great. The service is good. They tend to get really busy around dinner time. There are a lot of tables in the small space so sometimes if the restaurant is really full, the food might take some time, but our party of six did not have any delay in our order. The Samosa and chai was really good. The mint chutney and tamarind chutney were on point. The Pani Puri and the aloo chat were both good. The chicken Malai kebab was luscious and soft, and the bullet naan, rocket naan, and garlic naan were all very good. The butter chicken was creamy and slightly sweet. I really liked the India belly special chicken curry. That is definitely going to be a staple. The Indo Chinese preparations are very well done. There are some unique cocktails on the menu, including Tamarind Margarita and paan flavored Mojito. My friends ordered seconds of their drinks. The only slight downside is that it is a very small space, and if the restaurant is full, conversations at the next table can be easily overheard. That is the only reason I deducted a star from their review. I am excited to have an Indian restaurant in Snoqualmie that serves great food, and will be coming back often. read more

We went there when they first opened and had their naan and did not care for it and the owner approached us and asked us how we enjoyed our meal. We told him we loved everything with the exception of the naan. It needed to be a bit more crispy...and when we went back he made the change! We live in nearby North Bend and have been curious about this restaurant for a while and finally tried it today, and it was really great! Nice interior and plates/silverware. Excellent tamarind margarita, served very elegantly. With that we had the Dilli Chaat which was also very nicely presented and tasted exquisitely. For our main course we chose the butter chicken and paneer korma, with rice and naan. Exquisite and savory. And then finally, the icing on the cake: Kulifi dessert on dry ice smoke. WOW! Everything was delicious- while our kids eat Indian food regularly, they have high standards for restaurant spice levels and India Belly delivered delicious food with low/no chili for the kids and plenty of heat for the adults. Everything was absolutely top notch. Service was amazing and we didn't wait or want for anything. Also- the interior decor is so chic, unique and inviting. We were completely transformed as we walked in -expecting a simple counter meal, but this was an excellent dining experience. This will be one our new favorites when we are in the area! We are excited to have a new restaurant in town and India Belly is a great addition. The service and food were both 5 stars! We had the paneer tikka masala, special chicken curry, and garlic naan. Everything was delicious and the portions were enough for leftovers. I also tried the jaljeera gin fizz which was unique and tasty. I think they could spare to lose a table or two because it was really cramped getting in and out of the chairs and waiters were weaving to deliver food (watch your elbows!). They have a full bar and bartender Josh makes really delicious and sophisticated drinks. The interior is old Hollywood vibe and very inviting. Their menu also offers Indo-Chinese dishes. We had paani poori (celebration in your mouth); chilli paneer (our least favorite dish); Schezwan noodles with chicken (flavorful); chicken malai kebab (our favorite dish because chicken was very tender and flavorful) and tandoori roti.
