We went there for the Holi special buffet today around 11:45 AM. At that time there weren't many people, and the buffet had a good number of dishes as promised, so we were looking forward to trying everything. The appetizer section had a nice spread of salads and it was presented well. The gulabi dahi vada was unfortunately too sweet, and the inside was stiff and dry. The samosa chaat was nicely presented, and the samosa itself tasted good. They also had dhokla bites as an appetizer, but they did not have the texture of dhokla at all. Instead of being soft and fluffy, they were more grainy and doughy, and the taste was a bit strange. The paneer appetizer looked very bright, clearly colored with artificial coloring, and unfortunately it lacked flavor. The cut mirchi stuffing was good, but the peppers themselves were dry and cold. The gobi 65 was quite good. Among the curries, the kesariya egg curry was not good at all. The aloo tamata curry tasted like simple home cooked food. The palak paneer was good, and there was another creamy shahi paneer style curry which was okay. The naan seemed like it had been made when the buffet first started because it was cold when we tried it and not enjoyable. The restaurant started filling up around 12:30 to 1:00 PM. I waited for the next batch of naan and the fresh naan was much better. One issue with the restaurant layout is that the buffet setup is in the middle and feels very cramped. Once it got crowded, it was quite difficult to move around and access the dishes. On the positive side, they had a live counter for malpua with rabri and it was really good. The malpua was crispy and not overly sweet, which we liked. They also had gajar halwa and that dessert was very good as well. Overall, there was a large vegetarian spread for the buffet and the concept and presentation for Holi were nice. It looked beautiful, but unfortunately the taste of many dishes did not match the presentation. I drove about an hour from the north to get there, and personally it was not worth the drive. My dad wanted to come here for dinner to celebrate his birthday (which is the fourth of July). We arrived at around 8 and despite not having a reservation, we were seated almost immediately, though the manager made it seem like we were a big inconvenience for not having a reservation despite the restaurant being mostly empty. That already rubbed us the wrong way, but my dad really wanted to try this place so we stuck it out. Our server was about to take our order ten minutes after we arrived, but then got distracted helping a different server with another party and didn't return for at least another fifteen minutes. At one point we honestly thought she forgot about us and were contemplating leaving, but we were intrigued by some of the menu items and decided to stick it out. My parents ordered a scratch margarita to share and were very disappointed in the flavour profile. My mom felt it tasted more like a tequila sunrise than a margarita and claimed the drinks we make at home are better. My little sister ordered a virgin raspberry cocktail and she enjoyed it. As a Nando's lover the Peri Peri Tandoori Shrimp on the menu caught my eye and I was obsessed with it from the first bite. The shrimp was cooked to the perfect texture and I adored the flavourful tomato-based sauce. The Malai Chicken Makhmali was deliciously creamy and I loved the bite sized flavourful pieces. The only issue is the portions for all the dishes are abysmal and definitely not worth the price tag. Compared to other Indian restaurants in the area (that are already ridiculously overpriced, let's be real) this restaurant is highway robbery. When the Dum Biryani came to our table, it had bones it. We had confirmed with our server before ordering that it was boneless so we asked a different server to bring her over. The manager Debo came over instead and when I explained the problem he patronisingly offered me a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It turned out the server was new and the biryani is always bone-in, but there are so many more respectful ways thus interaction could have been handled. I personally was very offended to be treated like a child and offered ice cream when I articulated a valid complaint. We ended up only leaving the restaurant just before 9:45pm and ended up having to rush to the rest of our plans. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant for a speedy dining experience. Or at all to be quite honest. There are many far better Indian restaurants in this area, I'd recommend driving five minutes away to Masthi for an all around better experience in every way. One of the few Indian restaurants we like in Seattle area. Their jackfruit kofta is amazing! We tried daal makhani and found it creamier than we like. Breads were soft. We did go at lunchtime when their buffet is active but decided to order a la carte instead. Buffet did have good choices though some of which were not even an option on the menu. read more

We were originally heading to Masti Restaurant, which closes at 9 PM. Since we reached the area around 8:50 PM, we quickly searched for other nearby options and that's how we found this gem. Radhika was our server, and she took good care of us. Drinks * Mojito - 3/5: Nicely garnished with mint, but it lacked the refreshing punch a mojito usually has and leaned a bit too sweet. * Penicillin - 4.5/5: My friend ordered this, and I tried a sip as well. Really well balanced and enjoyable. Starters * Complimentary Veg Clear Soup - 4.5/5: Light, flavorful, and a pleasant surprise. * Dahi Puri - 5/5: Absolutely perfect. I loved it! My friend wasn't sure at first, but it turned out to be a great choice -- delicious and well-prepared. Mains & Breads * Serrano Lachha Paratha - 4.5/5: Very good, similar to a well-made Malabar paratha. * Garlic Naan - 2.5/5: A bit too thick and could be improved. * Champaran Mutton - 3.5/5: Flavor was good, but the mutton didn't feel very fresh. * Myth Malai Makhmali - 4/5: Chicken had good flavor, though it wasn't as tender as expected. Visited RajGharana Indian Restaurant for Sunday buffet with my son, expecting a pleasant family lunch. The restaurant was busy, but the service experience was disappointing. At reception, we were told there were no indoor seats for two and were directed to outdoor seating far from the buffet. A kind staff member later seated us inside, where I noticed other booths were actually available. What made the experience uncomfortable was when the receptionist came to our table afterward and said, "You were supposed to sit outside," with an unfriendly attitude--even though their own staff had seated us there. Hospitality matters. In our culture, we say Atithi Devo Bhava--guests should be treated with respect. Unfortunately, that feeling was missing here. Food was average, buffet area felt cramped, and overall customer service needs serious improvement. read more

What a disappointment. The service was so obtuse first of all. It was painful. Nothing on the menu is marked as gluten free, although the legend of the menu denotes that gluten free items will be marked by "gf"....so we did figure out that's just a massive oversight and most things are gf. All of the food was quite bland. The dal was still tasty and the special paneer dish was good. Everything else was meh. They didn't bring my wife's beer for over 30 minutes and didn't have the sense to let her know there was an issue. Will not return. read more

The restaurant put a lot into the Ambience. This was our first time at this restaurant. The food was ok. It seemed to taste similar even though we tried different dishes. We had to ask for more rice since they only brought a small bowl and there were 4 of us. The waitress must be new. When the 4 of us ordered she left one of the dishes off. 1/5 - Horrible experience, never again Honestly, one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. The bathroom was stinking, dirty and completely unpleasant - it already started wrong even before the food arrived. It makes me want to go back just for that. The food was at most "ok", nothing memorable. The only positive point was the bread, which ironically was the best thing of the whole meal (when the bread is the highlight, you already know that there is something very wrong). Now that chicken with curry... that was a joke. The chicken was dry, hard and totally overcooked, it looked like a reheated rest. In fact, the name of the dish should be "chicken bones with curry", because only the cheapest pieces came, full of bone and fat, swimming in oil. And they still charge a lot for it. Absurd. The service? Lazy to the extreme. Waiters in automatic mode, no attention, no sympathy, no desire to work. You practically feel uncomfortable for being there. I left there regretting having spent my money. If you want to eat well, go far away. Now, if you're a dog and like to bite expensive bone... maybe it's the perfect place for you. My husband's food came with tiny bones in it. They was no warning on the menu and the waiter gave no warning. He discovered the bone when he bit down on bone. The bones were small. They must of used a saw to cut up the bones. Very disappointing. This is hazard to serve this food without a warning or with a warning. Wasn't a pleasant experience at all. - There was no greeter at the front desk at all. A bunch of parties were just standing there totally ignored. - it's a big restaurant, but for some reason they pack all guests into a set of tables in this smaller area in front of the bar. It all seemed very claustrophobic - We order the Malai boti. As other have said, the chicken pieces were like rocks, likely microwave reheated. The sauce on top was authentic and very flavor. - also ordered the mutton chettinad. Flavor was great, there were splinters of bones, and lots pieces of fat and cartilage. Not enough actual meet - palak chicken was great, no complaints - ridiculous pricing on some items like $10 for mango lassi and $10 for masala papad. Especially that much for a masala papad is a total joke - service was pretty pathetic. It's been a few months since they opened so no excuse. The servers were just not attentive and mostly nowhere to be found when needed. It's likely they were mostly hiding out in the kitchen and would only make an appearance when food had to be delivered. - totally impractical impossibly long handled silverware. Between that at the small quarter plates the gave us for the entree, it was an exercise in frustration. - the vessels of the curry were tiny but had these massive serving spoons. Again, however chosen ghr tableware didn't use it themselves Ambience sucked overall, tacky decorations, loud shouting from the kitchen, close proximity of the tables, dark and dingy room, it wasn't an enjoyable meal. Oh my gosh, this is my new favorite Indian restaurant. We go to Indian a lot and this place did not disappoint. The meat was tender, my son now loves paneer and everything was high quality. Stumbled upon this restaurant not knowing it was here. Decided to try it out. The ambiance was very busy. It felt like being on a stage for a high school play. Lots of plastic and decorations crammed into what felt like a generic space. The service was ok but very slow considering how empty the restaurant was. Once the waiter finally arrived I ordered the Peri peri tandoori shrimp. Decent flavor but too salty. Lots of garnishes but not much else. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag. read more
