Do not come here unless you want to risk catching Covid! At least 10 customers were not wearing masks when they entered, went to the bathroom, while standing in line, and ordering. While waiting for our food we observed a customer ordering food without wearing a mask. The staff did not attempt to request that the customer wear a mask. One star for good food only. Some nights, I dream of Double-Doubles. When I'm tired and on the road in California, I have experienced what is known as Highway-Double-Double-Hypnosis. When this occurs, every vehicle I see seems to resemble a Double-Double with no onions, and in my nose there is a continuous perceived scent of freshly cut and fried potatoes. When in Redding, I have an almost continuous and irresistible urge to go to Dana Drive, and it's not because I want to go to Costco. It calls to me... And I always answer that call. For those of you who "Don't Get" the Double-Double fetish that some people experience, it's OK. I won't judge you or hold it against you. For those of you who feel that there are other chain burger joints that are superior to In-N-Out, that's OK too. I won't question your option or insult your decision making ability. For those of you who feel that some people may be too obsessive concerning In-N-Out, I'm OK with that. If the worst thing you can say about me is that I'm over-obsessed with In-N-Out, then things are going pretty good for me. By the way, did I mention that, at last count, my In-N-Out T-Shirt collection numbered 23. Is that too obsessive? Don't hate me. I was looking forward to trying this place. ...for the past 20 years. My MIL could not wait to take me and my husband for the first time. Okay....Mother in law and father in law ordered two hamburgers and a Diet Coke. I had to try the fries and shake. (I'm from Chicago, So fries and shakes become one when eating at a burger place ;) ) husband ordered a 4x4 just meat and cheese. Shake was okay. Fries tasted as though I ate a "frozen" French fry that wasn't cold. And my burger was flavorless. Bun was black and crusty. (Don't get me wrong, I can eat a burger with some black on the bun, if it was caramelized and added to the flavor of the burger. This is the most busy In-N-Out Burger joint ever!! Since it's the north most In-N-Out in California, and the closest to the Pacific Northwest, this place gets a lot of traffic, and they sure can handle it. The burgers and fries were consistently delicious but the staff are what make this the best In-N-Out. They were friendly, fast and super helpful with my poor memory of the secret additions. It was the highlight of an otherwise super long roadtrip from LA back to Seattle. read more

I've been here multiple times from Oregon and maybe it's just because all we have is crap food where I live but I always LOVE EATING HERE! The food is amazing and the staff is always smiling and helpful, I really enjoy eating here. Even when things get REALLY busy like around lunch the staff still smile and are friendly. It's a great place to eat and if you are coming to or passing by Redding you should at least stop here for the burgers. PS it's just not the same if you don't order your burger Animal Style. No need to review the food -- it's In-N-Out -- you know what you're going to get. This is a review of the location -- Redding, CA. The funny thing about Redding is that while it looks exactly like so many other California cities, it feels decidedly un-California. Perhaps it's the proximity to Oregon. Perhaps it's my thought that any part of California from Redding on north isn't really California at all. I don't know. I've been to many INOBs in my time, and this one feels so much unlike all the others. And should I ever manage to find my way to the Utah, Arizona, and Texas locations, I suppose I'd feel the same. But this one feels especially weird, since it's still you know, in California. There are always tons of deprived teenagers from places all over unloading their yellow buses on their way back to their country homes. And given its location, lots of tourists come this way too. Obviously, lots of expatriated Californians exiled in Oregon manage to find their way to Redding as well. A real mish-mash of people you really won't find at this chain's original southern California locations. So yes, you'll satisfy your Double-Double fix here. But prepared to be bombarded by the general weirdness of being in ... Redding. read more

My only complaint is the two times I visited this location the lines were long and so was the wait. At least 20 mins. But ultimately worth it. read more

Consistent after all these years! as a vegetarian I avoided in n out burger for many years as I didn't think there was anything I could order for dinner here anymore. Yesterday I had a grilled cheese with tomato, "animal style" and it was just like having a full on regular burger here. It brought back all the memories of my teenage years of enjoying an in n out burger on a hot summer day before my vegetarian days. My friend had her double double wrapped in lettuce as she is gluten-free and she said hers was every bit as delicious as one with the bun as well. The thick lettuce they provide as a bun for GF folks is great - it actually provides something to hold onto when you're eating your burger - great work and kuddos to this location for good service and getting us in and out of there in less than 20 min. read more

There was a young girl with short brunette girl working a couple days ago who was extremely disrespectful and rude to me when I asked for 2 separate orders. She was glaring at me and was giving the ABSOLUTE worst tone of voice while I was ordering. People everywhere, several employees taking orders in the drive thru. Decided to go inside for more pandemonium. We thought we must have stumbled on to the greatest hamburger place on earth. What can I say... this is an extremely popular hamburger joint on the left coast. It has an extremely small menu, double, cheeseburger, hamburger, and fries. That's it for food.
