I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork for delivery. The dish was almost inedible. There was more breading (hard as a rock) than meat. I threw it out.

Beef with Broccoli

Amazingly delicious! First time at this restaurant and the food was delicious! We ordered the crab cheese wontons, chicken egg drop soup, pork Thai fried rice, beef with broccoli, strawberry mochi, and vanilla mochi. We got to get pictures of the wontons, soup, and mochi (I was so hungry). The waitress was quick to serve us! Very polite. We hardly waited for our food! It was steaming hot and delicious! The pork Thai fried rice has a small after kick to to but the taste over all was amazing! Very generous on the pork portions as well! The dish itself was piled high! We took home the leftovers! The beef with broccoli came with rice. I selected fried rice. The sauce on the beef with broccoli was amazing! So tasteful. The portion for both the broccoli and beef was evenly spread and the dish itself was amazingly portioned. I took a lot home for lunch tomorrow! Over all I loved our find! I can't wait to go back to this restaurant! #NewFavorite

Mongolian beef and hot & sour soup

It had been too long since we visited Imperial Dragon.  Approximately 7 years?  We were having a craving for Asian food this last weekend and with the weather being cold and dreary, we decided to order Imperial Dragon to enjoy at home.  I ordered the Mongolian Beef and while this dish is so seemingly simple, so many places don't execute it properly.  Imperial Dragon's rendition is so mouth watering and flavorful.  My wife got curry chicken and it too was tasty.  The crab cheese wontons are average, the pork egg rolls are pretty tasty. Their delivery time was super quick and the driver seemingly friendly (I could hear his banter at the front door while I was in our backyard).  It was refreshing to have an establishment maintain the same level of quality so many years later.  Be sure to check out or order from Imperial Dragon if you're in the neighborhood!

Chicken fried rice, Sesame Chicken, Beef Lo Mein, Crab Cheese Wonton

This place is only doing takeout or delivery just FYI if you are thinking of trying it out. Also has GREAT pricing, we bought 3 dishes and an appetizer for about $40. It is a very surprising hole in the wall. We did a takeout order and were very impressed with the portion sizes. As for the food...the sesame chicken was phenomenal it was actually chicken not just breading, it had just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The beef lo mein was one of my favorite dishes the flavoring was strong and savory. The crab cheese wantons were alittle small, but weren't greasy like usual Chinese restaurants. They were delicious. As for the chicken fried rice, it was absolutely terrible. It wasn't fried rice at all, definitely more like white rice with some peas and chicken. It definitely didn't taste right. All in all was a very affordable and satisfying Chinese restaurant. We will definitely be back minus the chicken fried rice. Plus we have plenty of leftovers for the next day.

Drunken noodles

Drunken noodles ........waste of 15 bucks. Noodles where overcooked. Chicken tasted like leftover they reused....horrible experience

Over an hour and half for online delivery. Barely any meat in the lo mein chicken and over priced for the servings they give.

You walk in to pick up your order and they have tables blocking the entry, that's where you pay for your food. The portions are still as giant as ever, and the prices are still affordable. My wife and I had a hankering the other day for our old stomping grounds, so we jetted over there to pickup an order. It was ready in 10 minutes and two meals ran us $32. I think I pay $32 for a good cup of coffee these days!!!!!! I kid, I kid. The meal lasts you for days, you really get two giant sized portions out of it. It will probably last some of you three days. They don't skimp out here and it's incredible. They serve Asian fusion, Chinese American meals that are addictive. Or is that the MSG??? Probably so, and that's why it's delicious. The food is just so damn craveable! Don't break the bank. Get what you really want. Taste of China, we still love you so much.

(Note, they are closed on Tuesdays.) I placed our pickup order on a Saturday night & it was ready in 15 minutes. The restaurant is for take-out only. Our food was in containers & placed in a box. I appreciated this since there was no way anything was going to tip over & spill. Very friendly phone & counter service as well. Note, you get six free Cheese Wontons when your order is more than $40. We ordered three different entrees with three different sides - Steamed White Rice, Fried Rice & Lo Mein Noodles. The sides were good, however the fried rice didn't seem fried, it was white rice with soy sauce. The Sweet & Sour Shrimp Entree was tasty - the shrimp were medium sized, cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce. The Sesame Chicken Entree was even better, the chicken was moist & tender. The beef in the Mongolian Beef Entree was great however there were way too many onions in the dish. Overall, a very satisfying meal.

I always get the Mongolian beef with fried rice (no egg; I'm allergic) My husband always gets the General Tso chicken with the fried rice and he ALWAYS orders this and never has a complaint. My son gets the Sesames chicken also with fried rice and it's sweet and crunchy as they fry the chicken to mix in their sauce and it's worth every penny. Every time! Service sometimes can be short in communication but expected especially when they're working all day and don't have time to eat but their food never misses! Having lived in Hong Kong and Seattle we have always made dim sum brunches an important part of our…read moreweekend routine. We were told that Star Kitchen has a good dim sum service and our experience bore out that recommendation. Star Kitchen has 40 tables which is not enough for the demand so reservations are an absolute necessity. One cannot do this over the phone or on the web. Rather, they have a check-in system in the lobby which is only available about 15 minutes before the 10:00 store opening. Odd but effective since it likely eliminates problems with no-shows. Be advised there is a line before the lobby opens! Star Kitchen seats about 120 diners. They only had 5 carts which is far too few for the demand. Two carts are devoted to steamed, two for fried, and one for tofu and congee. The selection of fare was superb and featured the classics. I will say that the kitchen ensured the carts were always stocked. The lack of carts makes the wait between helpings longer than we would have preferred but the quality and taste more than made up for the delay. We started with chrysanthemum tea, ordered a mix of both steamed and fried classics then finished with honey tofu (which we highly recommend!) Six dishes plus dessert is more than enough for two adults. The food is excellent though the ambiance is classic Chinese eatery - functionality punctuated by bizarre objets d'art and random piles of boxes and linens. Go early and sit tight as your patience will be richly rewarded.

Carts rotate and display their options to you frequently as you enjoy your meal. So tou can order plates as quickly as you finish them. I recommend the pork buns and pork ribs. My favorite this time around were the leek dumplings with a side of noodles. We finished off with a coconut bun that wasn't too sweet. It was the perfect finish to the meal with ample amounts of tea. My group of 7 shared the roasted pork, pork and duck barbecue. I'm not a fan of duck so it would not be fair for me to write anything about it, but those who loved duck meat said that this place serve wonderful barbecue duck. As for the pork, both roasted and barbecue, they were so good. We had a little bit of white rice to eat with the meat, but really, you don't need the extra rice in order to eat these two types of pork meats. Since both styles of the pork were prepared differently, I cannot say one is better than the other: they were both delicious. The crunchiness and the flavorful from the roasted pork, as well as the aroma and the soft chewy from the barbecue pork, brings this dining experience to the next level. We also ordered the yu stir fry choy sum in garlic, the combination fried rice, and salt and pepper shrimp. I highly recommend the yu choy and shrimp dishes. I would skip the fried rice and get their beef chow fun, which is exactly what my other group of 6 did. In addition to what were mentioned above, they ordered Chinese broccoli, daikon and beef in clay pot, Taishan five spice duck, salted fish & chicken fried rice. Everyone enjoyed their food and dining experience here. Conversations were easily understood and heard. When asked what their favorite dish was, all of us said we liked everything, but when pressed to give one special dish, several folks mentioned the roasted pork, the clay pot, and the salt and pepper shrimp. Service here was excellent. The manager was very accommodating to our large group of diners, coming back and making sure we are doing fine as he refilled our water glasses. If you are looking for legit Chinese barbecue pork and duck, you don't need to look further: it's here at Happy Cafe BBQ. Enjoy!
