I ordered the Sweet & Sour Pork for delivery. The dish was almost inedible. There was more breading (hard as a rock) than meat. I threw it out.

Amazingly delicious! First time at this restaurant and the food was delicious! We ordered the crab cheese wontons, chicken egg drop soup, pork Thai fried rice, beef with broccoli, strawberry mochi, and vanilla mochi. We got to get pictures of the wontons, soup, and mochi (I was so hungry). The waitress was quick to serve us! Very polite. We hardly waited for our food! It was steaming hot and delicious! The pork Thai fried rice has a small after kick to to but the taste over all was amazing! Very generous on the pork portions as well! The dish itself was piled high! We took home the leftovers! The beef with broccoli came with rice. I selected fried rice. The sauce on the beef with broccoli was amazing! So tasteful. The portion for both the broccoli and beef was evenly spread and the dish itself was amazingly portioned. I took a lot home for lunch tomorrow! Over all I loved our find! I can't wait to go back to this restaurant! #NewFavorite

It had been too long since we visited Imperial Dragon.  Approximately 7 years?  We were having a craving for Asian food this last weekend and with the weather being cold and dreary, we decided to order Imperial Dragon to enjoy at home.  I ordered the Mongolian Beef and while this dish is so seemingly simple, so many places don't execute it properly.  Imperial Dragon's rendition is so mouth watering and flavorful.  My wife got curry chicken and it too was tasty.  The crab cheese wontons are average, the pork egg rolls are pretty tasty. Their delivery time was super quick and the driver seemingly friendly (I could hear his banter at the front door while I was in our backyard).  It was refreshing to have an establishment maintain the same level of quality so many years later.  Be sure to check out or order from Imperial Dragon if you're in the neighborhood!

This place is only doing takeout or delivery just FYI if you are thinking of trying it out. Also has GREAT pricing, we bought 3 dishes and an appetizer for about $40. It is a very surprising hole in the wall. We did a takeout order and were very impressed with the portion sizes. As for the food...the sesame chicken was phenomenal it was actually chicken not just breading, it had just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The beef lo mein was one of my favorite dishes the flavoring was strong and savory. The crab cheese wantons were alittle small, but weren't greasy like usual Chinese restaurants. They were delicious. As for the chicken fried rice, it was absolutely terrible. It wasn't fried rice at all, definitely more like white rice with some peas and chicken. It definitely didn't taste right. All in all was a very affordable and satisfying Chinese restaurant. We will definitely be back minus the chicken fried rice. Plus we have plenty of leftovers for the next day.

This is my family & I 2nd time here in Denver and after finding this place the 1st visit we make it a point to come to this location. I always get the Mongolian beef with fried rice (no egg; I'm allergic) My husband always gets the General Tso chicken with the fried rice and he ALWAYS orders this and never has a complaint. My son gets the Sesames chicken also with fried rice and it's sweet and crunchy as they fry the chicken to mix in their sauce and it's worth every penny. Every time! On these days, we only pull dishes from the cart, never really ordering from the menu. There are a few home, run plates and a couple I could pass on, with the barbecue pork buns, putting a delicious, savory texture and flavor, with the sauce cooked in, versus the regular pork buns are a little more dry and have no sauce. The soup dumplings are also so good, along with the rice cakes, the Ube, sesame, desserts, the duck, steamed the shrimp buns and more. You really have to go for yourself and be willing to try things, I didn't love the duck feet (I think that's what it was?) but you have to at least try it. Always make sure to bring a huge appetite! We ordered the fried tofu (with peppers and onions), orange chicken, fried fish fillet, and veggie delight (mixed veggies). The fried fish fillet was definitely the standout. Perfectly crispy on the outside with a light, tangy layer of sauce that added flavor without making it soggy. Easily my favorite dish of the meal. The fried tofu was also really solid and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The peppers and onions complemented it well without overpowering the tofu itself. The orange chicken was okay. I tend to compare orange chicken to Panda Express (probably unfair, but it's my benchmark), and this one didn't quite hit that same balance of crispiness and sauce. I think if it had a bit more meat within each piece, would be better. The mixed vegetables were decent but not something I'd order again. They felt a bit drenched in sauce and didn't have much depth in flavor. One of the highlights of the visit was meeting an elderly woman who helps out when it gets busy. She mentioned she was the former owner. She was incredibly kind, and we ended up having a really nice conversation in Mandarin. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. Otherwise, really nice venue with lots of space and tables. Waiters always refilled my water, which is a good plus. Also gave me fresh rice when I took the leftovers to go. Overall, a solid meal with a couple standout dishes. I'd definitely come back for the fried fish fillet and tofu. Will be back to try their other dishes.

Service was quick to take the order, refill water and clear out empty plates/steamer baskest. The dishes coming out of the kitchen was at a more erratic pace, but it's all about the food. Mapo tofu was good, with a light slick of chili oil. The flavors were spot on with little chunks of fermented salted broad beans. The heat was also moderate, but it did have a kick as you were eating it. That signature mala numbing spiciness started building, but not hot enough for my palate. Green beans were also nice and tender. Sometimes when they come out the fryer, the skin can be a little leathery, but wasn't present here. BBQ Buns were very soft and tender, loaded with BBQ pork. The shao mai had a nice bouncy texture and cooked well. Shrimp Lo Mein had the flavors of the Chinese American classic, it looks like the noodles were hand made too. Only miss was the shrimp dumplings. They were too close to each other and they stuck together. The wrapper was also overcooked, but somehow the shrimp was not. Nearly impossible to pickup with chopsticks, because the wrapped just fell apart, even with a delicate touch. Worth a stop and probably tastiest Chinese food in the neighborhood. It was getting crowded and there was a wait by the time we left. However it was Denver restaurant week, so not sure how it usually is during the week.

Lately it feels like a lot of restaurants are charging more while giving less, and it's getting harder to find places that actually care about the customer experience. Unfortunately, this was another one of those experiences. We ordered three side dishes and three drinks, and the bill came out to around $100. Two of the three sides were served cold, the dumplings at least came out hot, but they were pretty mediocre and nothing I'd order again and drinks were extremely over priced. The waitress was fine, no real issues there, but it did feel like the food may have been sitting in the kitchen too long before it hit the table even though the place was empty. At the end of the day, it's hard to justify paying that kind of money for cold, underwhelming food, then feeling awkward about the tip because the experience just wasn't good. I won't be back. If I had known this is what the experience was I would have definitely gone somewhere else. As an added bonus I felt like crap afterwords, I think it was because of poor quality ingredients. My aim in writing these reviews is to highlight the restaurants and businesses that truly take care of their customers, to give people a heads up about the ones that clearly do not prioritize quality or the customer experience, and to express myself in a world where it often feels like there is very little room to speak honestly about paying top dollar for mediocre experiences. Very disappointing.
