They think about what they can do and what will look good, rather than just making it work and leaving wires unattached, etc. everything is grounded, and put together very well! LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS…read more A company doesn't get so many consistent one-star reviews for good service. If anyone is considering using their services, hopefully, these consistent negative reviews will help you make a decision to pick another vendor. LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS LIARS Q - What happens AT&T when you outsource and off-shore your customer service department? A - You get a lot of pissed off customers that will flock to your competitors. I am now one of them. Despicable treatment by a group of totally untrained, uneducated, incompetent L I A R S First call 10/17 - This is where I lost 51 minutes of my life trying to explain an issue to their incoherent representatives. First Eileen who was totally useless. Then her 'supervisor', Jasmine who guaranteed me I would receive an email from someone on their tech team within 72 hours, Ticket #1-236907879796R2. It sounded far-fetched, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. 10/24 - As anticipated, no response. Called again and spoke with Sierra who again, was of no use. I asked to AGAIN speak with a supervisor. After waiting for 1 hour 27 minutes (stupid me) with her coming back on the line every so often to assure me that the supervisor was coming, she disconnected the call. I guess that was her way of letting me know that a supervisor wouldn't be coming after all. Right back at you AT&T/DirectTV. Tomorrow, it's my turn and I will be one to hit the disconnect button and terminate your services.

We added three boxes to our service after having them for over a year and we have had nothing but…read morebilling issues for the last TWO MONTHS. I have spent at least 45 minutes to an hour every call and there have literally been over 15 calls. I ordered three new boxes and long story short got charged for 8. I have put in numerous support tickets for billing to look at through various reps, being assured that it will be fixed. Just when I finally got my money back (even though I contacted you a week plus before my payment was due letting you know that it was incorrect, you still withdrew the wrong amount), I was waiting for my update bill to come through, you then suspend my services. To get them back on I had to talk to three different people and then finally I gave in and paid what I actually owed you even though my bill was still saying I owed more. ---this is what your agent advised me to do, assuring that the unpaid portion would be coming off my bill. Yesterday, I see this still isn't over . . . you withdrew for all those incorrect charges that after two months and over 15 calls, totaling in a least 15 hours of talk time with your company . . . my issue is still not resolved and now I have to call back probably 5 more time just to get the refunded. If I could rate you negative, I would. If this is how you treat a customer who has always paid on time and wanted to ADD service, I want nothing to do with your company.

I went with Dish because they promised better reception better channels better everything oh do not…read morefall for that they are probably the worst one out there if you have problems they will charge you to come out and to look at their equipment because you are just Leasing their equipment if you do not pay for that extra repair cost in your contract which is another rip off. And then here is a good one for you when you cancel you have to pay to ship their equipment back to them I have three of their equipment two little hoppers and one main box they're charging me $50 to ship their crappy equipment back to them. Yes people they charge you to ship their crap back to them even though you have been a loyal customer to them and they're keep telling me that I have $400 in credit with them I still have to pay that send their crap back. What type of place is this besides a giant rip off don't fall for their sales pitch I started out paying $50 a month after 11 months my bill tripled still had the same channels 200 of them and out of them 200 channels 90 of them were shopping channels. Then they tell you that their equipment is one of the best let me tell you about their best when the wind would blow at 10 miles an hour and I live in Iowa I would lose signal if it snowed I'd lose signal if it missed it outside I'd lose signal if it rained I lose signal if my neighbor came outside and waved his hand I lost signal yes that's a over imagination but everyday I would lose signal or it would just lock up. When I would call and ask why they would tell me unplug the Joey plug it in it should be fine. Well guess what it wasn't I'd call back in again they said well looks like we need to send a technician out that would be $150 I would say what to work on your stuff you're charging me well yes don't go to these people please they are the biggest rip-off in this business. I called today to have mine shut off so I could go with another carrier I was on the phone for over an hour and a half trying to get this shut off they tried to give me a different package try to cut my bill they tried to do this that and the other thing they still couldn't come down to the package that I got with this other carrier and then they started bad-mouthing the other carrier telling me that they are being sued that I will not be happy with them that they are no good and everything else you can imagine I'm sorry you do not bad mouth another carrier and expect me the stay with you. Do yourself a favor people forget dish is even out there you will not be happy you will be ripped off and you will thank me later

I even gave the person the page URL and he instead that they (presumable those at the Cedar Rapids office) were not responsible for what was on their corporate webpage. I posted on Big Dog's Facebook page which they promptly deleted (so I reposted and will continue to do so) and sent email through their link title Corporate on their page. A few minutes later I got a call from Zach to resolve this issue...which didn't get resolved. It just got Zach repeating that Dish Network is responsible for the pricing, no matter what the BD website says. He decided he was going to keep overtalking me and raising his voice, not a smart customer service type thing to do. I hung up on him and now I know why we left Dish Network many years ago.

He said he couldn't cancel because we didn't have the social security number on the account. He said, even though I was sitting next to my mom, I could be her enemy and want to mess up her coverage and it was against the federal law for him to cancel it. He yelled this at me and when I was quiet he said have a nice day and hung up. My mom's hard of hearing and I make all her calls for her. I have never had a problem cancelling any other service. Mediacom, electricity, gas, all went so smoothly and Mediacom actually paid money back after hearing she hadn't used the services for months. We caught that one early on after the move. Hard part about Century Link is they didn't ever send anything physical in the mail. For two years nothing but the silent automatic withdrawal. And now the refusal to cancel. I feel for all the people they must take advantage. Kudos to Mediacom and gas and electrical companies for have kind customer service.
