I've been to the Hermosa location which is not my fav (it's super off putting at that location staff wise) I have also been to the Huntington Beach location which is lovely. Staff is pleasant But, Long Beach has been our fav. It's clean, the nurses are more likely to rotate less at this location so, you develop a nice report with them. Unlike other locations you tend to have a different nurse every time, The young ladies up front are again just the sweetest and they remember your name which is refreshing. It shows you're not just a name in a book with a time slot next to it. I'd give the staff 10 stars if I could.

I get it, they probably make a commission out of it - but when you tell patients "you should get botox, you should get this, you need to get that." That becomes a problem. It's rude, unprofessional, & disgusting. I have 1 more cool sculpting session available but have decided to not use it. That's how bad these 2 receptionists were. Do not reccomend!

Outside it says Walk-in medical clinic and if I didn't know this ahead of time I would have been a little confused. There is a parking lot right next to it which is a big plus for me because so many places in Long Beach have street parking only. The inside is clean, no issues there. The women at the front desk have always been polite to me and I've never had any issues checking in or scheduling my next appointment. There has also never been more than one or two other people at most in the front waiting area, usually there is nobody else. I'm always called back to a treatment room within 5 minutes of checking in. After I undress for the procedure my wait has never been more than 5-10 minutes, only once it had been about 10. I've had 2 different nurses and the doctor do my treatments. They have all been super nice and I don't ever feel uncomfortable at all. They are knowledgeable and can answer questions or give recommendations for other treatments but they don't do a full court press on trying to upsell you like most med spas I have been to. I love this because it makes my appointments more enjoyable. I have previously had some laser hair removal treatments done elsewhere before coming across LBC Laser MD within the past few years. In comparison, all three women who did my treatments here were way more thorough than anywhere else I have been. I always felt other places rushed and skipped spots so you would have to buy more treatments. So my appointments here may be a little longer but I appreciate it because if I'm spending the time and money already and staying out of the sun for months, I want it done right with good results. Overall my experience has been really good and I would definitely recommend giving them a try.

I've been coming to the SEV Long Beach location for almost 8 months now for laser hair removal on…read moremy lip and chin. The front office staff are nice and welcoming. I've had a couple times where I've had to wait past my appointment time (max 10-15 mins), but I get that things sometimes run behind - I have the same issue at my PCP, dentist, and injection derm. It's just the nature of the healthcare/service industry. Little delays stack up when people have questions or issues. I have seen NP Angel for every appointment except one. Angel is a true professional and she makes me feel completely at ease during my appointments. She's always good about talking though any changes I've made to my skincare routine to make sure it won't interact/interfere with the treatment. As with everything in life, you need to find who/what works for you through trying them out. I tried another NP at SEV when Angel wasn't available, and while she wasn't bad at all, there are just little things that Angel does that appeal to me and improve my overall experience (I have high anxiety about procedures).

I arrived on time as requested and still ended up waiting until almost my original appointment time anyway. By then my entire lunch break was gone, so I asked to reschedule. When I asked if I could just book later through the app, I was told I'd be charged a no-show fee if I didn't schedule right then. If you're asked to come early, just be aware you may still be waiting.

There are things I learned by switching that made such a difference for me. After switching I pay $20 less PER appt and get way better results. After 11 months I was not getting any results, not even improvements so I went somewhere else. With Cindy, getting appointments was a challenge and time between appointments effects how efficient it is and getting an appoint kinda felt like a game and untill I found the hack (read on). Turns out there are multiple types of electrolysis. I found another type to be more effective on me and less painful. If you have low sodium definitely look into different methods. This factor and time between appointments was the issue for me. Also, If you're trying to address a specific area, good luck with that, she flat out won't do less than she feels you should. Now a lot of people want every single hair including peach fuzz gone, you will be happy. I get mostly white soft peach fuzz with a handfull of dark hairs in one small area around a mole. I told her not to do certain areas and even tried to activly stop her as she did blond hairs. but she did it against my constant reqests. I went so far as to circle in eyeliner the only area I wanted done but she stilllll did what she wanted. I ended up with dark hairs growing back where it was originally only blond peach fuzz and more areas needed treatment. She swore that was impossible but there was never visable hair there before, now there is; only one thing changed. Everytime I asked for an appointment at a specific day/time she's was all booked up for that whole week. No matter how early I asked or how many weeks I selected. I don't know how to explain it but it seemed disingenuous. But here is a little trick. Ask for an appt half hour after you want it. When she says no, ask her to recommend someone else since that's when you are available. Her schedule miraculously opens for half an hour before you innitally requested. Like immediately, not cause someone cancels, just, now it's available. I did this about 7 times, worked every time but the games seemed unnecessary. I was waiting 6-8 weeks between appts with Cindy. I figured out that time between appts was a big part of the issue for me. Once I started going to Paula every 3-4 weeks as recommended it has been working way better. After switching I have gotten better and more immediate results. So don't just go off reviews try different types and see what works best for your schedule and body chemistry and schedule.

She's gentle when she's doing it so I was surprised how little pain there was. She seems like she's really there to make you feel like it's all about you and she makes the process go as smoothly as it can. I'm so excited to continue seeing her after how great my results from just the first two sessions were. I'm especially looking forward to the great (in person) conversation I get with her every session, it's a huge plus after being cooped up inside so long. I can't recommend her enough! I have a permanent bump on my forehead from an accident when I was younger, and Rebekah took the time to really understand my facial muscles and determine the technique that would work best for me. I haven't had a service done here so this review is not about that…read more I came in to ask if I could do a quick acne injection and they were fully booked for the day so I opted to come in the next day. Front desk mentioned a deposit was needed and I was happy to pay that, but then she said that I might as well pay the full amount while I'm there. So I paid the full amount for the service. Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.
