After being a client for several years along with my referring other clients to them, I had an appointment scheduled but got a call from my daughter's daycare (she's 2) that she was suffering from an asthma attack and had to go get her and take her to the ER where she was admitted and had to spend 3 days. When I called the front desk that morning to reschedule I explained the emergency and was told I would be charged $50 and not able to just reschedule. When I let them know I would not be returning because of this and asked what the refund for my prepaid package would be Adriana said I would likely not be getting a refund of whatever sessions were left and that she would have to talk to management to see. I then received a text from Jen who I've been going to for years and has met my daughter who didn't try to resolve the issue whatsoever and was quite cold and rude even after getting an image of my daughter in the ER receiving oxygen so she would know I wasn't making what was happening up. All in all there was no empathy for the situation OR appreciation for my business as well as the people I referred and gifted to treatments there. I had a first time appointment with Jen for some Botox. I've had Botox done for years but unfortunately my regular girl was not available. With that being said, I knew what to expect, told Jen where and how much I usually do and we proceeded. That was when I was shocked. She had me frown and then just jammed that needle around my forehead. I was horrified! I'm used to an ice pack being held in the area where the needle will be going, told to frown, and the needle is gently placed and the Botox is inserted. Repeat until all areas are completed. Her method is completely unethical and dangerous. Now fast forward a few days when I noticed a nice large bruise above my brow where she had jammed that needle right in. Absolutely unnecessary and avoidable. Never going back. read more

Today was my first time seeing Jennifer for Juvederm fillers around the lips. I am 36 years old, but have deep lines around my upper lips even though I've never smoked. After receiving a raving recommendation from a friend, I went in today thinking I'd need a whole 1ml syringe of the product to take care of my "problem". I was pleasantly surprised when Jen assured me that I only needed a half of a syringe for the results I expected. This is my third time doing this procedure, and by far the best experience! I received Botox for my "11" lines. The one star (since we can't give negative stars) is ONLY for RN Jen who literally STABBED ME with the needle, repeatedly & quickly as if with no thought of where she really wanted to go---just went in the general area. I had this done only once years ago (UNFORTUNATELY I don't remember the name of the place), had a very pleasant encounter with the doctor who slowly and carefully administered the Botox, and had EXCELLENT results. This time I was STILL showing the "11" lines, still able to frown, and it's been over a month. They "graciously" said I can return but will still have to pay the full cost of another Botox injection. Will try another place for Botox & hopefully give a different review. I'm sure, from the reviews, that they do well in other areas, but the only plus I experienced at Image Rx was that the receptionist was very professional & friendly. read more

I have been here for the last few months for laser hair removal. They do a variety of things here, like juverderm and botox but I have never tried those so I will speak only about the laser hair removal. I am really happy with the laser hair removal here. I just finished my 5th session and have had significant hair loss. I absolutely love not having to shave all the time. Most of the time there is hardly any pain with the procedure but at times you can feel it a bit more then others. It is a tolerable level of pain though. But if you are afraid of pain, they can write a prescription for a topical anesthetic that you can apply before coming in for the laser removal. The best part of all though, is that it's only $49 dollars a session for the underarm area. Cheap and well worth the money!! The staff here has always been super friendly and nice. I also really liked that they give you $25 to use towards any service for each person you refer to this place. So far, I have referred one of my friends here and got $25 off my last session which made it only $24. What a deal!! A few of my coworkers have also gotten laser hair removal here and everyone of them have been satisfied with their results. I think anyone who is thinking of getting this done, will have a good experience here, I defintely did :). read more

{FIRST SESSON HAIR REMOVAL} Jenny was very nice and made me feel very comfortable, she explained the process and made sure i was okay throughout the procedure. she did use a razor to shave off some extra hair but accidentally nicked me in the process. Overall my first experience was very good. I did find it a bit weird that she said i could come back in 4 weeks but then the receptionist corrected her and said at least 6 weeks... as the professional... shouldn't you know better ? {AFTER MULTIPLE SESSIONS} I definitely see a decrease in hair grown and I've gone to both Angie and Jenny. Both have different techniques, I believe that Jenny is a bit more gentle where Angie spends more time over each spot which made me feel like the hair loss was more significant in those areas but overall more painful. read more

I have been coming here for about 8 years now for numerous procedures including Botox, Radiesse, laser hair removal and laser skin resurfacing. Today I made an appointment for Cool Sculpting. The fact that I keep coming back should speak for itself but I decided to take a minute of my busy day to post this review because Jen (the owner) is amazing. She should have been a physician because much of her knowledge is on par with physicians. Additionally, she knows most of the plastic surgeons personally and knows who is good and who is not. Botox injection is an art and Jen is Rembrandt. If you put too little, you don't get results. If you put too much, you can develop headaches and other problems. Additionally, if you don't hit the intended muscle just right, your eyelids can droop. I have tried other places but even now that I live almost 2 hours away, I keep coming back to Jen. Injectables also take skill to know exactly how much to put and where and to know how to "sculpt" it once it's inside. Put too much in the wrong spot and your lips will look creepy. We've all seen the horrible injections done to the lips and you know what I'm talking about. Jen is conservative. Her philosophy is that you can always do more so why not start small and see how you feel. Great advice! Again, I am always happy and my look is very natural. On top of that, her prices are extremely competitive and she is lower than most other providers for many procedures. She has also talked me out of procedures which she felt were either minimally effective or not appropriate for me. Thank you Jen for years of making me look as good as possible and for always steering me in the right direction. I'm getting older now and gravity is taking its toll but I'm not going down without a fight! read more

Needed a laser hair removal touch up for my underarms as it's been about 4 years since my last round of treatments. The only other clinic I've ever been to in Newport Beach is out of business and I searched on Yelp and Groupon before finding this place while waiting to eat next door. I liked that I was able to get an appointment immediately, unlike places you find on Groupon where it takes weeks, yes weeks, to get in. It was $50/treatment (underarm) with packages available for a reduced price. I"m not certain which laser they use, which could be helpful to know. The inside looks a little old but then again, you aren't paying top dollar for services and they get the job done. I had 2 treatments about 6 weeks apart, both with different techs (can't remember names). Being that these were touch ups, a test patch was not necessary and I knew what to expect. On my first visit, the tech was very friendly and gave me an ice pack to place under my arms and numb me a bit. She held the trigger to cover a large area at a time. It was painless (although I've had my bikini done - that hurts like a mother!) and I was out in about 15 minutes. The 2nd treatment was with an overly-botoxed tech. I had to ask for the ice pack and her technique was more on-the-spot which hurt just a little more and took longer (still a quick visit). If you've never had laser hair removal, expect a quick sting that goes away as soon as the gun pulsing stops. It will take multiple treatments and note that hormone changes will not guarantee any laser hair removal to be completely permanent; touch ups will be necessary. I can go about 5 days without shaving and when I do, it's not much hair. Bonus: no darkness/razor burn under arms! read more
