I received a notification that my dad's prescriptions were ready for pickup, so I went to the pharmacy expecting a quick transaction. Instead, I was told I had to wait for the pharmacist to release the medications because there had been a change. When I asked what the change was, no one could explain it, and I couldn't find anything different on the prescription label. To make matters worse, I had to wait over 15 minutes for the pharmacist to return and approve the release. I didn't have extra time to sit and wait because I needed to get my dad to a scheduled appointment. If the medication isn't actually available for pickup, then why does the website and notification system say it's ready? Unfortunately, this isn't the first issue we've had at this location. My dad receives a monthly injection, and during our last refill they gave us the runaround for three days, claiming they couldn't reach his doctor for approval on needles. The problem was that there was already a valid refill on file the entire time. It took them three days to figure that out. People don't have time to make multiple trips and deal with repeated pharmacy issues just to get medications they depend on. Because of the ongoing problems, poor communication, and wasted time, I will be transferring my dad's prescriptions to another pharmacy. Of you need your medicine in a timely manner skip this location and go elsewhere.

I stood by the pharmacy for a while until a very kind young lady noticed I looked a bit confused. She came over, guided me through the process step by step, and made everything so simple! Her patience and professionalism truly stood out. Thanks to her, I learned how easy and convenient mobile ordering can be -- prices are even better online, and pickup was a breeze! Huge kudos to the team at Walgreens, 3460 El Camino Real, Santa Clara, CA 95051 for their outstanding customer service. Proper database software would tell you that. And 4 days *after* you called to say you only have a partial dose, and you still don't have the rest. What the heck, man, indeed. For like 15 seconds turnt around and with a urgently raised tone said "hey, hey, hey, you can't do that we're already closed, there's no more shopping allowed, there's no more shopping allowed" reiterating her point with me being right in front of her I began to explain I was at the ATM before the doors were closed and I came to the line to add money which is the only reason I came to Walgreens was to reload my card. She then proceeded to say " it doesn't matter if you weren't in line at the time that we the doors then I can't let you in the line because it's not fair to everyone else" I literally looked at her and said I was already in the line while you had your back was facing the customer and were yelling at the security guard. I understand I was the last one in line but obviously there may be some delusional thinking or blindness because the doors closed and I was last in line so yeah I couldn't reload my card and had to leave. Terrible customer service! I don't remember if it was management may as well be as she was supposedly calling the shots for presumptive closure of the store with customer still inside not allowing them to check out. Shouldn't matter if I had to reload money on a card or purchase something if I was clearly in the store before they closed the doors, then I feel that they intentionally didn't want to have to recount their drawer or change their nightly deposit routine (yeah I've worked in retail before too) ...rude...and ignorant people
