I will admit I don't enjoy coming here to grab my prescriptions. Mostly because usually people are ill and not feeling their best. I know it's not easy to work in customer service, but to work in customer service and face people all day feeling under the weather, kudos to everyone at the pharmacy. I do want to say for the most part, I come here get my prescriptions and go. But once in a while I will need extra assistance especially dealing with new prescriptions or seeking for advice. Special shoutout to pharmacist Jordan! She is pretty amazing! She has helped me on several occasions always with a smile and kindness. Today she helped fill a prescription at another local pharmacy since they didn't have the medication in stock. She called the other pharmacy, transferred my medication order and called me to go there in 30 minutes. It helped me so much in so many ways! Thank you Jordan!! It's not easy dealing with people picking up medications all day long. But why not do it with a smile and make the best of it? Thanks again Jordan for doing just that! read more

Rude and disrespectfu, I came in to buy some medication after my surgery and was yelled at by a filipina cahsier woman, who started slamming things and cash register violently , and after i asked her if she was mental she told me to leave . Then I was chased down by the store manager who told me did u call my employee mental i said mam she is slamming things she said never come back here and took a picture of my license plate and told me leave never come back to this store and flipped me off . How is this store even allowed to stay open ? I filed a complaint with the district manager and am talking to my attorney about suing this place . I had never been so disrespected or insulted in my entire life. I even had peoiple come up to me in the parking lot saying i dont know what their problem is. I rarely need stuff from here, but when I do need something like a bottle of vitamins or supplements, or something for the bath I like having this place nearby. I can usually find parking quickly and run in and out quickly. I needed help finding something last night and the girl who helped me was very nice and took the time to really look and even checked her phone to see if another store carried what I was looking for. Usually when you go to drugstore, it's just a quick in and out, not much of an interaction between employees and customers. However today's experience shocked me, in a great way! I bought a bunch of floss online and they sent me the wrong ones. I came in to return and they asked for a bar code. However I wasn't given one at the time of purchase. Only a receipt and an order number. Marco was helping me and the system couldn't process the return without a bar code. He called the assistant manager over, her name is Priscela. She tried everything but the system still wouldn't budge. I was getting antsy thinking that I might have to keep 12 packages of the wrong floss. What was surprising was, Priscela and Marco didn't give up! They started trying different method to help me return it. Priscela even made a call to ask for additional help and she figured out a way to enter it in the system and IT WORKED! I've never received such excellent customer service before from a drugstore...... Even big corporations like Chase Bank or lululemon didn't help me like this when I was dealing with them -.- You can tell Priscela and Marco really care about their store and their customers. I'm truly blown away by their patience and strong customer service skills. Not once did they show any frustrations but was really gentle and friendly along the way. Thank you SO MUCH to these two. I was here for passport photos. I got in during lunch time on a Tuesday, they helped me right away. Took the photos on the spot, and it was ready in less than 15min. I wasn't even finish browsing the store yet. The cost was $14.99 for US passport 2x2. Employees were polite and efficient. Highly recommend coming here for passport photos. read more

These guys have gotten way better. Main store: cleaner, shelves more orderly and clean, more friendly and professional staff. Pharmacy: While they do have a lot of turnover, I've got to say my experience is now more like 10 min wait times to call, and way more competent staff in person and over the phone. Example: I had a pause in insurance and had to pay OOP once; without contacting me or waiting until I came in, the staff automatically put a coupon on the Rx to dramatically bring the price down from $86 to less than $15 - proactive, thoughtful, customer oriented. They are now polite and communicative when answering the phone and greeting you, and just way more pleasant to interact with - thank you! More specifically, I have been dealing with a nuanced and complex insurance issue across multiple Rxes and multiple weeks- working with the AM pharmacist JORDAN who has been PHENOMENAL. Like, you're really fulfilling what the job should be, THANK YOU. Sharp, great communication, fast, proactive, professional, RESPECTFUL, KIND! The past pharmacists have often been rude, curt, dismissive, overwhelmed, irritated, impatient. I get that you process a bagillion Rxes and people a day, but we are in a medical dispensary - not fast food restos or a gas station. People are dependent for your assistance, guidance, and help -- and our medical system is needlessly bureaucratic and complex to the point of cruelty when one is sick or maintaining well being. Be human - in a good way. I've heard how past (and one current afternoon pharmacist) talk to customers in person and on the phone and they can be very not nice. Very lazy, unhelpful, and rude Pharmacist at the back of the store. Refused to help even though she was sitting there without attending to any customers. Made customers who came in wait for over 30 minutes even though she was not doing anything, just sitting in a chair on her phone. Wouldn't give paperwork to other customer and told them to get the paperwork online and come back to the store. Told another customer they could only get the Covid vaccine if they scanned the QR code, even though the customer told them they couldn't get a signal on their phone. She clearly didn't want to do any work and just wanted to sit and be on her cell phone. Obnoxious, rude, and horrible customer service. I would not recommend this pharmacy in Walgreens to anyone. Go to the CVS across the street - great pharmacists and staff over there. read more

This is a review for the pharmacy. Two bad experiences - 1. The pharmacist misread the dosage in the instructions told me to give my child 10x what the dosage was - read it as 3, it was POINT 3 (.3). 2. They always have a super long line and there will be 5+ people working but they never move anyone over to open more stations. Right now the line has 11 people in it and they have one window open. The person in front of me told them that the line was long and asked if they'd open another window and they literally ignored her question. Didn't even say "no we can't sorry". read more

I just want to write about something that made me really uncomfortable. Y'all need to remember that while you are absolutely probably feeling tired and out of it by the end of the day, making customers uncomfortable should never be one of the possible routes to take, especially when no such need arises. I walked in 30 minutes before they closed to grab 3 things from one aisle. I was the only person who came in, and was greeted by a cashier. I went straight to the aisle and looked through my choices when that cashier went on the speaker system and said, while chuckling, that the store closes at 10pm and that it is currently 9:32pm, so any customers that are "shopping" should hurry up and finish -- they open again tomorrow." She repeated herself a BUNCH, laughed, and turned off the speaker. Really made the whole interaction of me paying stupidly awkward for her. The fact that I was the only one there, I JUST walked in, and I was there with plenty of time for them to close was just not cool. I get it, you probably had an exhausting day behind you, maybe you were really hungry and dying to go get dinner already -- but that moment was a mean girl moment, and there was no cause for it. At the end of the day, sometimes people may take their time at the end of your shifts. If you're closed, then you can tell them about how you open again tomorrow. This store is extremely disorganized. I ordered an item online and came for a pick up. Turns out the store does not carry the item. It was so frustrating to drive all the way here to pick up a thing which wasn't available. Even the staff didn't do much to help me. They kept pawning me off to someone else. In this day and age, you hardly see such horrific customer service. I placed a prescription and Josh B. (pharmacy tech) stated it will be 25 minutes. He took everything down and told me to come back in 25 minutes. I came back in plenty of time, 45 minutes. Stood in another line, while a lady complained and stated that she was there for a pick up (like I am) and got service ahead of me. I got to the front and Trevor told me that they in fact don't have this prescription. Essentially I wasted over an hour and did not get my prescription. They didn't offer to rectify the situation in any way. They said they couldn't even mail me the prescription. I have a toddler that's waiting at home. I can't imagine any place wasting AN HOUR and then saying they don't have medication. Honestly, the worst experience in a pharmacy I ever had. read more

This Walgreens is one of the best in the area, if not the best. It is organized and neatly put together during busy seasons like Christmas, Halloween, and Black Friday. The staff are always friendly and will go above and beyond to ensure you find what you're looking for promptly while being very polite and providing insight on over-the-counter medicine that we may need to familiarize ourselves with. They make all their policies very clear and have greatly improved them in the last year, making them readily accessible to anyone with questions. Even during stressful situations where customers might be irritated with a long line and take it out on the cashiers, they remain calm and collected to keep the line moving. This one is for the customers, to you troglodytes that take out your frustration on the staff of this establishment; they are humans too, making a few extra bucks so they can live in this expensive area and don't deserve your disrespect. If you took the time to get to know them instead of belittling them for doing their job, you might gain a few brain cells in your noggin and empathize with them. Also, to the guy that kept giving one of the main cashiers shit over asking for ID on the purchase of wine the other night, ID laws are NOT new. They have been in place for decades now. Even if you don't want to believe it when you walk in at the door and the registers, their policy reads, "We card everyone." Open your eyes instead of crying to a cashier who is simply doing their job and ensuring you, and them don't get jail time for your lack of competence and severe entitlement. I pick up medication here and every three months. Every time I get a call that the medication is ready, I arrive and they are unable to fully fill the prescription and I have to come back. Each time I stand in line for 30+ minutes. Never have I ever had an easy situation. I will absolutely be changing pharmacies as the are consistent with their poor service. Last night I dragged myself over to Walgreens to pick up a prescription (okay, my fiance dragged me because I am actually the laziest person ever and didn't want to drive one block). Similar to most people (I'd assume) who go to Walgreens Pharmacy, I was not excited to wait in an unnecessarily long line to pick up overpriced drugs for health-related stuff I didn't necessarily want to deal with. This being said, Akari is the sweetest, most helpful person ever, and made my usual experience a great one! I had a few discount codes for my drug items, and even though it took forever and seemed super frustrating to input, she was very patient with the entire process. She also put up with me and my fiance who were in quite a "mood" and were cracking lame jokes at each other and reading literally every label on the wall behind her out loud and asking her way too many questions that she 100% did not care about (i.e. Why is Mucinex on the back wall of the pharmacy?! Why is Mucinex also NOT on the back wall of the pharmacy?! Have you ever seen Walgreens honor the $5 over sticker price policy...does that even happen...like ever?!?! Are you drinking chia water?!? I faced long call wait times, and I've been hung up on without being answered after waiting for 15 minutes multiple times. When I finally got a hold of someone on the phone, I was hung up on before I could ask all my questions. Perhaps it's just staffing issues causing the long wait times, but being hung up on when I'm already talking to an associate is rude and frustrating. In person, they are fine. read more

They messed up activating my gift card and now don't want to give my money back or at least try to reactivate the card that was wrongly activated or activate a new one. Said go to Apple and get gift card help but Apple said the store didn't activate the card correctly and even voided it so there's a zero dollar balance. Walgreens customer service or gift card team lied after seeing the receipts and activation slips and the messed up card and could see the numbers matching but still had the tenacity to say they don't match when they're lying between their teeth. Resubmitted all documents and waiting for them to continue cheating me and scamming me out of my $14.50 because they messed up and don't want to admit to it. This is a simple thing that's been done correctly before at many Target, Walgreens and 7-11 locations. The pharmacy sucks here. Tried to get a prescription filled early and understood that I might be refused. That didn't bother me. What bothered me was how they refused my request. My doctor wrote a note on the prescription that said, "refill now." They even called my doctor to confirm this. My doctor was okay with me taking more of this medication, hence him writing me a new prescription. Later on, I received a call from a pharmacist saying I should come in and talk with them.The pharmacist asked why I finished the prescription so early, we talked back and forth. It felt like she was interrogating me. She gave me this weird look the whole time, just really bad customer service. I thought she had a personality disorder. I felt so uncomfortable and caught off guard talking about my prescription with other staff members and customers near by looking over at us. We had no privacy. If she had a problem with how quick I went through my last prescription, maybe she should talk with my doctor directly? You know, the very same doctor that just filled me a new prescription and was personally contacted by the pharmacy. She's a pharmacist, not an actual doctor that prescribes medicine. She is no authority on that matter. If my doctor was okay with it, then why is it a problem for her? Finally, she told me her decision was to refuse my early refill request because Walgreen's policy wouldn't allow it, so she had already made up her mind and didn't need to make a spectacle of this in public. It didn't matter what my argument was, she wouldn't have accepted it. Why didn't this pharmacist just say no to me over the phone? I have never experienced that at a pharmacy. Just tell me no over the phone in private and present me with other options. And the simplest option presented to me in person was to wait until the next eligible date. Instead of being sensible, they waste my time by having me drive back in order to talk with the rude pharmacist. read more

I so far have good experience with this store. The pick up order was smooth and all items I ordered were fully fulfilled. A cashier man brought me my order and I didn't want to take many bags he said he would come in the do the return for me. He came back in and out and did the bags refund for 20 cents. Really? With only 20 cents refund he came back to the store from the parking lot and came out giving me the receipt of my refund. At the 3460 El Camino store the cashier was too slow and lazy I asked her to apply coupons she said No, I asked her to plit my purchase into separate transactions she said No. She gets paid and doesn't want to do anything with her job lol. This location is decent in size compared to others around and if you pay attention throughout the store, you can find some great deals through weekly specials and clearance markdowns. They aren't always stocked very well which can get kinda annoying especially with sale items and even more so when their coolers aren't properly functioning as they should be. If they were a tad bit quicker at helping customers with locked up items I'd have have no problem rating them higher, but they have some stuff to figure out. read more
