I've gone to many different nail technicians but of everyone I have experienced so far, Sally is by far the best not only is she incredibly meticulous (she will flip your hand to make sure every angle is perfect), but she also works very fast and efficiently she competed my nail set in 1.5 hours -- normally a set with design has always taken 2 hours minimum she will wipe and redo the design until it's 100% perfect, and did not rush the prep work (including cuticle care), which I greatly appreciate she's a master at her craft & is also such a warm and personable person as well -- couldn't recommend her enough:) read more

Sally is the best of the best. I've been going to her over a year now and this review is much belated. Sally is an artist in every way, and is extremely diligent and detail oriented. No small detail gets missed and she can recreate any nail design. You can really tell she has a passion for what she does. She's also a kind human being. She gives me snacks for my kids! I cannot recommend her enough. She is by far the best nail artist I've ever had. She is incredibly careful and detail-oriented, and my nails always come out exactly how I want them. Not only do they look amazing, but they last so long without chipping or lifting. I've shown her multiple inspiration photos, and she is literally the only person in the Bay Area who has been able to recreate them perfectly. She truly understands shape, design, and execution. I had a lovely time with Janisa! I came from out of town in desperate need of a new set of hard gel nails. I was able to schedule my appointment through their Instagram the same week (scheduled Tuesday, service requested on Saturday), they are very responsive. There is a $50 deposit that applies towards your total sent through Zelle. There was a big binder of different cat eye gels that the shop offers. I have been getting hard gel nails done for the last 2.5 years. Wow, the service here is amazing and Janisa takes great care of her customers! She blew me away with her technique and attention to detail. Janisa took extra care of my nails. She is so friendly and kind. I love how she paid attention to the small things, like going out of her way to snip a teeny tiny piece of cuticle she missed that others would usually ignore due to how small it is, down to to reshaping my nails and making sure each nail is symmetrical/even, ensuring my apex was perfect, taking extra time with the cat eye magnet technique, and making sure to remove any extra product under the nail/filing down at the end. As someone who pays REALLY close attention to details and is a perfectionist, it was so refreshing to see someone care as much about my nails as I do. I even texted my fiancé in the middle of the service, raving about Janisa's technique. In total with a removal and new set, it took 1.5 hours. Today was my first appointment with Sally and it was such a great experience! Five minutes in, I already knew I am going to be a repeat customer. I love how careful and meticulous she was. I'm usually hesitant of going to new places bc I somehow end up with at least one finger bleeding due to them cutting me when removing the cuticle. Because of how careful and detailed Sally was, no cut and no bleeding! I had multiple nails that had a tear on the side, she carefully added glue (and it wasn't super glue like other salons!) and filed it down so it seamlessly blended in. Thankfully only one nail needed nail tape and again she did such a good job that you can't tell there is nail tape at all. She was communicative about additional services (ie. nail tape) and got my approval before doing anything. I originally wanted French as my polish but was recommended to cut my nails short due to how weak they were. With her recommendation ended up with great cat eye color that compliments my skin tone. The day of the appointment she made sure to update me on her availability, and let me know that if I wanted to stop by earlier, she would be free to start my appointment at an earlier time. The entire appointment went by very smoothly. This was my first time having cat eye gel nails done, so she was so kind to allow me to try on different colors until we found one that I liked. Aiko has a very good sense of color balancing and design! She recently has a baby this year so it is hard to do walk in appointment! All nail services are only through appointment by phone and text. She spends a considerable amount of time carefully shaping and cleaning your nails, while making sure everything is to your liking. I appreciate how careful and gentle she is when doing my nails too. I called over the phone and they were more than happy to fix it. However, it's a huge inconvenience having to come back. Service definitely needs work. EDIT: The customer service team responded and said I probably walked in on a busy day. I clearly stated I had an appointment every time. They always accommodate walk ins even when appointments are booked. This is clearly the salons problem yet they try to blame the customer.

She shaped them so quickly and well and had such steady hands while doing these designs taking her time to make sure the design was exactly how I wanted it. She's the sweetest and I would totally go back whenever I need my nails done. For how many designs she did I would say the price is very reasonable. The pedicure was also great. Only took about 30 mins and was exactly what I wanted. I didn't get the name of the girl who did my pedicure but I would highly recommend!

The seat where i was sat wasn't even drained all the way and theres was residue from the past person. The lady was cutting my cuticles and was digging deep and I was nervous she was going to cut me. Another customer came in so they switched and she proceeded to cut even more cuticle where the other lady already cut. Then she pulls the cuticle skin and my toe starts bleeding. I don't know what she was putting to stop the bleeding but it was in a small green bottle and smelled a bit like acetone. Once we were done soaking and cutting she dries off my feet and proceeds to cut the SAME spot again and pushing against the cut. The salon looks dirty,cheap, and the tools don't seem like they sanitize them. wouldn't come here again despite the cheaper price.

I really really wanted to make this place my go to for gel x and builder gel nails, but they simply…read moredo not respect their customers' time. I do not think they keep track of appointments and, if they do, I simply cannot imagine how. I have tried texting and the response I get every time is "ok", even if I ask a question in my appointment request. I've tried making an appointment online and the appointment slots are always available and open, which can't be true. While in the salon, I've seen them answer the phone when someone calls to make an appointment, they are always on speakerphone, and I have never seen anyone write anything down after the phone call, they say ok and then just continue to work. Out of the 5 or 6 times I've been here I have only been seen at the time of my appointment once. Once! I am often waiting 30-45 mins and I stay because I have a very tight schedule and make appointments on the only days I can. I'm currently sitting waiting for my 5:00 appointment and it is 5:40 and there are 5 others also waiting, though I don't know what time their appointments are or were. (At 5:06 my manicurist asked me to wait 15 mins and I said fine....but I ended up leaving at 5:45 because she was doing someone's pedicure.) I have always been happy with the services I've received here and their prices are reasonable, which are the reasons for the 2 stars, but I simply will not be back due to their constant lack of respect of "appointment times".
