Everything a bbq onion-string medium-rare burger should be: juicy, smokey, crunchy, balanced, was somehow the complete opposite, as though the cooking was done while distracted, or watching a movie, or maybe driving. Such a good burger place!!! I had the "Off the Record" avocado burger and it was absolutely fantastic! So wonderfully messy.....be sure you get extra napkins. I also opted for the sweet potato fries which by themselves were really well done. They come with a sweet cinnamon butter which does make it feel like a dessert but luckily it comes on the side so feel free to use or not. My "Off the Record Avocado" was amazing, I'm not going to lie. And the sweet potato fries were also very good- crispy and flavorful (the cinnamon butter(?) that it came with was all kinds of yum). However it was a little pricier than expected given that the burger is a good size but not huge. Also, the sides (read: fries) do not come with the burger and must be ordered separately. You add a drink, and it's easily a $15-16 dollar meal... and while it was nice to sit on the patio for my meal, I don't know that it merits the price tag entirely. TLDR: good food but be ready to pay for it. read more

This is more of a customer service issue. I come from Texas and was so excited to try this place out walking distance from my hotel. I was very upset that when I and two of friends walked in. The guy (wears glasses and has a tattoo on his left arm) at the register looked at me like if I should know where to go. That should have signaled that I and my two friends were new customers walking in.
