Went in to pick up my Uber Eats order because IHOP wants to do a sale when the employees can't keep up. Waited 40 mins for my food to be "ready" then they come and tell me that my food wasn't paid for I ask if I can just pay right there and she's no it doesn't work that way. After that I check my bank information and it says the transaction went through. So I drove there for nothing, with less money and no food. Terrible service. read more

We are in town for a wedding. We don't have an IHOP fairly close to us so whenever we travel I always search one out for breakfast if possible. Luckily this one was 6 minutes away! We were immediately seated, immediately greeted, brought our drinks right away, and our order was taken in the perfect amount of time. Our food came out in a flash and was really good. Staff was friendly and was even told to have a nice day by other waitresses. We were even offered sodas to go! We've NEVER been offered that before. I've been to this place 3 times and this place was pleasant until today. My sister and I went around 10:30 or so we were sat immediately and our order for drinks were taken. 10 mins go by still no drinks then another lady comes and takes our order for drink AGAIN and we told her we had already ordered our drinks and still are waiting, she comes back with coffee for both me and my sister which was wrong my sister ordered a soda. We asked her if we were going to be charged for 2 coffee and she ask why in a very rude way and we tell her because only one of us ordered coffee and the other ordered a soda she then proceeds to take my coffee away then I had to remind her I ordered coffee. So 15 mins go by and my sisters soda comes but in a filthy smelly cup and we told the lady and another 20 mins go by before she gets a new drink. There was never no sorry for the wait etc etc just attitudes from the girl. We Will NEVER return here again. Horrible experience we always come here all my family does too. Usually we come here 4 times a week but yesterday Sunday 8/26/18 we went around 6:30 & ask for a coffee and it was very cold we ask a lady with Glasses (I didn't get her name) to change our coffee she got very mad and aggressive towards my mother and slammed the coffee cup on her. Compare to Jenny the other server she was very nice they should have more people like her and fire the other girl with Glasses !!! read more

They have a miniature train that circles between both rooms and you get a great view of the metrolink train as it passes on by. Service was slow but it was extremely busy. Food was good but price was a bit over what I would have thought it should be. Ideally the price of drinks should be a dollar less or the meals should be plated with a bit more care. I'm not a big fan of IHOP as I prefer not to go to chains, but this worked in a pinch while waiting for an appointment. My Dad had some crepes, Mom had a coffee drink of some type (Carmel Mocha Something Something). Crepe (cinnamon apple filled) were really good...maybe a bit rich. Coffee drink was also very nice. The thermos of regular coffee was checked frequently (Thanks Ida!!) and was not too strong, but good enough. This IHOP looked pretty clean (incl bathroom). The staff was very nice. Overall, it was a really nice quiet breakfast for a Monday morning. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area. THE WORSE The service is beyond slow, we had to call the manager to get us our waitress and he said "they haven't taken your order" its sad to see that he is aware of the bad service and he still doesn't do anything about it. The orange juice is like kid size and super expensive $5 bucks for a cup For $5 I can go to mcdonals and get a full meal and some change back or go to the grocery store and buy me a full orange juice for less. #1 breakfast place in town. I have 2 ihops near me; I'm in Ontario, but we insist in driving the almost 5 mile drive to THIS location for Sunday breakfast. (My family does too) service is great, food quality is delicious (my husband insists the cooks are bad ass-excuse my French !!) Manager is always very tentative, we see them walking around and asking us how everything is doing and the waiters doing the same! We came here after a late night at my son's school fundraiser. We were seated quickly and Melissa our waitress took our drinks. She was so sweet! She checked on us often, and when my boys asked her to turn on the train, she did so obligingly despite the fact that they were close to closing. She took off the discount for our boys without us even asking. The food was hot, and the Swedish crepes were delicious! Way better than the ones at the Fontana branch which were rubbery and cold. Was a satisfactory experience. I'm usually not a hard critic, but one of the workers was extremely rude. The rest of the staff was polite, but a lady with glasses (not the older lady) ignored our table and refused to help us. I said excuse me and she replied with "wait" and walked away with no eye contact. Fifteen minutes passed and i watched her do absolutely nothing in the back but talk. All we needed was a box and we were on our way but she never even bothered to stop and listen to a simple request and even after making eye contact several times after all she would do is give me glares and continue on with doing nothing but talking to coworkers. This was the surprise I never expected! What a great experience. I am allergic to soybean oil and all soy products including margarine. I was able to eat here as they use butter and not margarine. This is my second visit to iHop in Upland (off Euclid) and I'm pleasantly surprised that the 3 stars I initially saw falls short of my experience, which is a full 5 stars. The staff at this location has been highly attentive, friendly and prompt with service. The quality of the food is fresh and edible and the staff ensures you receive it how you ordered it (i.e. crunchy bacon, etc.). Upland iHop is definitely a place I'll frequent more often!
