We approached the restaurant and noticed the large parking lot. We entered, joined a short line and checked in. I was informed there would be about a 15 minute wait. We went back out to the car to wait until called. I received a text that our table was ready in what seemed like less than 15 minutes. We reentered, were led to a booth, and a server came over quickly. She seemed a bit dry at first, not too much smiling or warm and fuzzy greetings. She was all business and we were all ready with our orders. I ordered the French toast combo with scrambled eggs, cheese, and bacon. Wifey ordered the 55+ Rise and Shine combo with an added side of pancakes. My daughters decided to share the breakfast burrito entrée, and they each ordered their own side of hash browns. My oldest also ordered a side of pancakes with blueberries on top. The food came out pretty quickly, and our server started to warm up to us as the visit went on. She even began dropping a "sweetie" and "beautiful" when speaking to my daughter. Overall, all the food was good and tasted exactly as expected. Dined at restaurant about a week or 2 ago. My son had a huge hair in between his pancakes and they remade it. I almost finished my hashbrowns when I found a hair that was definitely not mine in the mix. Messed up my appetite and was just an overall terrible experience. And we order my son a shake Togo and they return back with a small cup filled mostly with whip cream. I tried to ask the lady if the whip cream was going to take from his milkshake. He literally had a couple sips and the cup was about 4 inches tall for over 7$ The waitress was nice but y'all gotta do better. If you're gonna work in the kitchen then your hair needs to be tied up. And if you're stressed at home then make sure you put a hair net on your ponytail or bun so this doesn't happen again. It is disgusting and unprofessional when working in the food industry. While deciding what to get what breakfast while visits the area, I found that IHOP had a family fest deal that was cheaper than getting meals at another local restaurant. I also needed take out due to my having to do a couple virtual sessions for work. I got the waffle family meal that had 4 serving of eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, and sausage, along with 12 slices of waffle triangles. This was $40. I also got a stack of blueberry pancakes since it was 5 of us and I knew the waffles wasn't going to be enough. I Ordered online around 9:35am with an estimated pickup of 9:51am. I left the hotel around 9:45ish. After ordering, they send me a text with a link where I could let them know when I was on my way to ensure it was ready and what not. When I arrived around 9:54am, the food was ready and bagged nicely. I was greatly promptly as well. When back at the hotel, all the food was fresh and hot. I wish the bacon would've been a little crisper and that they packed salt and pepper for the eggs. They didn't pack enough syrup either. Other than that, no major. complaints really. Very crowded, everyone was working as hard as they could. The food was good. The place was clean despite being packed full. The reason for 2 stars is purely price point. For 5 people to eat breakfast and not have huge plates or extras, the total being over $100 is inconceivable. I tipped the waitress nicely but this will be the last time we eat at an IHOP. read more

Went out for a bite to eat after shopping and so on. Food was amazing. I had the breakfast sampler with an order of stuffed French toast. It was amazing, my husband had one of the omelets which he liked and it was big, my son had the chocolate chip pancake and loved it. On July 18, three of us went here for breakfast. My friend was in the process of putting his mask on as he walked in, and the hostess that was working literally yelled at him to put his mask on. I glared at her and told him that's what he was doing. She wasn't saying hello or greeting anybody that was walking in, and was pretty much throwing the menus on the table. I see several reviews on here that say the hostess has a bad attitude. If she hates her job that much, maybe she shouldn't be working there. On a positive note, our server Rosalyn was absolutely outstanding.. very attentive and a total sweetheart. I had the southwest breakfast scramble and it was delicious. read more

We ordered breakfast online and picked it up close to our cabin. Everything was wading and waiting for us when I went inside to get it. Staff was friendly! The food was great! The only thing that was a miss was we ordered coffee and requested extra cream and sugar which was left out of our bag. But overall everything was good. read more

I had a $10 gift card IHOP sent me for my birthday so we decided to use it. First mistake. The waitress took the card when we ordered. When we received the bill, the $10 gift card was not credited. I asked the waitress about it and she took the gift card out of her pocket and then brought us a bill reflecting the credit. My wife ordered the Chrispy Fish Platter, she received the Shrimp Platter. She was hungry and ate it without complant. I brought it to the waitress attention and her only comment was, "They both cost the same thing." The food was not great, greasy taste to it. Haven't been to this IHOP in several years and will not go again. I live here, there are much better places to eat at more reasonable prices, and the wait staff will own up to mistakes if any are made. read more

My husband says I am being generous. But the food wasn't horrible. It wasn't fantastic though. The wait was craaaaay when it wasn't even full and the staff was packed! My boyfriend and I went on vacation to Tennessee. He left his jacket in the booth. We did not realize until getting our things out of the rental car at the airport. The staff at the Sevierville location shipped us his jacket at no cost. The food was amazing and waitress in the restaurant was amazing. This is the new reality: not enough help so there there will be a wait and it will take a while to get your food as well. Don't get mad, call ahead, get take out, or stay at home. You can go from one place to another and find a crappy place with no wait and no service in the same amount of time you will wait to get seated. Hostess was way too hot. Honestly it made me and my seven young boys very uncomfortable. Thankfully my seven daughters where there to cover the eyes of my sons. Server was also way too hot. I ordered food for myself and my fourteen children as quickly as possible so they wouldn't have to look at her hot bod for too long. We got fifty or so happy face pancakes. Each pancake was unique and charming in its own way. Although a few pancakes looked like they where not truly happy they still looked content to be eaten by my many children. After the meal I blew my whistle and the children lined up to sing the "thank you song" to the kitchen. After the song they each gave the chef a shiny stone as a gift for such wonderful pancakes. We went here on a Saturday because every other breakfast place was packed!!! 60-90 min waits. So we settled for IHOP. We waited 30 min and was welcomed with a very friendly hostess. Our waitress was fantastic. So friendly and took good care of us. The food was very good and I enjoyed our time there. I only gave it 4 stars because we'll, it's ihop. We went here twice during our Smokey Mountain vacation. The first time the service was horrible, but the second time it was ok, but not great. First time, the waitress never came back to see if our food was ok, if we needed refills or anything until we were done with our order. The second time she did come back with a drink refill before I even needed one, but it did take quite a bit for her to come and take the order. Both times, son and I ordered the nutella and banana crepes and swedish crepes. I have to say the second time, the swedish crepes were much better, as they had a healthier dose of both the ligonberries themselves as well as the butter. Hubby got a philly cheese steak the first time and the ham and cheese omelet the second time. He was happy with both entrees, both times. The price was reasonable for what we got. The food was ok. I came in after the breakfast rush and before lunch and without a doubt it's the worst IHOP I have ever visited. The French Toast took a very long time to get to me and it was hard to cut up without using a knife- only the middle was soft. The service was much much much worse. When my food was dropped off my server was there and dropped off my ticket at the same time and that was it! No check ups or drink refills or anything! I didn't finish eating because I really needed something to drink along with my food.
