Fried White Cheddar Cheese Bites (fried cheese curds)

It's Cracker Barrell, what can I say? For those of you who are not aware, Cracker Barrell started in Lebanon, TN, so if you are wondering why there are Cracker Barrells every 1-2 miles in Tennessee, that is why. This one had a great gift shop/lobby area with plenty of rocking chairs to lounge in before or after eating. You can download the app and join the waitlist ahead of time. I'd suggest this if you are in town during the busy season to avoid having to wait for a long period of time. The food was pretty good. I mean, it's Cracker Barrell. You get good vegetables, consistent breakfast meals throughout the day, and some good staple southern eats. And they have appetizers now too! We had the fried cheese curds, the 4 vegetable plate, and the kids grilled cheese with a loaded baked potato. Our son enjoyed the grilled cheese and my wife and I split the vegetables and potato. I would say I was not a fan of the greens, which were made with pulled pork. The fried okra was tasty and the Mac n cheese was pretty good. The service at this location was great. Our waiter, Ryan, was very cool. He was helpful with suggestions and always available if you needed anything. The restaurant was clean and the outside was too.

I arrived after the closed and departed before they opened, sadly. But I definitely appreciated the fact that, at least for now, Cracker Barrel supports RVers. I spent the night in my Sprinter van, locked up and secure. We RVers need to be respectful of the space so that this great resource can continue to be available. Campfire Shrimp with andouille sausage! It's so freaking delicious!

Great atmosphere with lots to admire on the walls!!! All the antique decorations are well worth the trip alone. Great people and friendly service. The new campfires meals are delicious.

Second time at a Cracker Barrel. I though the food was good and the price was reasonable. I wish they had these restaurants where I live. I'll definitely go again when I get the chance.

    Meatloaf (raw)

We wanted to get some food from the Cracker Barrel in Sevierville for a special anniversary dinner. We called the order in at 3:00 p.m. paid for it at 3:57 p.m. and still did not receive the mail until 4:20 p.m. when we got home, the order was only half of what we actually ordered, half of the order was wrong, and the meatloaf was raw in the middle. I attached a picture of the meatloaf so you can see how bad it really was. We ordered greens but instead received a pan of mashed potatoes that were dry and crumbled like bread. We also received a pan of macaroni and cheese that was below room temperature. During my hour and a half wait, I also witnessed a waitress walking out of the kitchen carrying a tray of food to deliver to a table, while eating bread and bread crumbs were falling off of her chin. The employees tried to excuse themselves saying that they were busy but as I looked around the corner into the dining area, there were only five, maybe seven tables that were occupied. Yet I still had to wait over an hour and a half for my meal. There were other customers who came in to pick up to go orders as well and had placed them while I was there and received them and paid for them while I was there. After waiting for an hour to pay for my mail, waiting another 30 minutes after I paid $48 for my meal, and witnessing what I did, (the waitress eating while delivering food),  getting home to open up my food and find out half of it was wrong, half of it was undercooked, and some of it was too overcooked, needless to say I was extremely unhappy.

Grandma's Sampler and Grandpa's Country Fried Breakfast

Weekend brunch cravings were satisfied at Cracker Barrel. I enjoyed the grandma breakfast which came with pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hash brown casserole. I added blackberry topping to my pancakes and it was overwhelming due to the huge amount of whip cream and blackberry jam, I wish they would have toned it down a bit. But overall it was all tasty and we had fast service.

This is supposed to be an order of steak fries. Most of them were hurt as a rock

Her tone, attitude, and the way she spoke to me made me feel uncomfortable the entire time. It felt like we were a burden just for being there. I ended up completely losing my appetite because of how mean and cold Marsha was, and I actually left the table crying over it. (I work in healthcare so I have thick skin). Going out to eat is supposed to be enjoyable, not something that leaves you feeling embarrassed and humiliated. I understand everyone can have bad days, but there's no reason to treat customers with that level of disrespect. I was asking a simple question of getting an order to go and about the lunch. I really hope management takes customer service more seriously because no one should leave a restaurant crying and feeling the way I did.

The room itself was pleasant as well. It was hard to leave the luxurious king bed every morning. The heated floors in the bathroom and the comfy sitting area made our Holly Springs cottage suite the perfect home base. We were also assigned our own golf cart to get around the property (although we chose to walk mostly to take in the views). Service was top notch and the staff were wonderful. The wait is worth it if you get there before 8 am. The omelettes had a lot of filling and were very good. The buckwheat pancake while thin had a really nice texture. The wait was awful, but to be expected. And our waitress was helpful and friendly--though not super attentive. She was busy, though, not lazy. The food was decent. Not earth shattering. Bottom line...if you want BIG food. And you have 1.5 hours to wait for food...it is a great tourist spot. The biscuits were light and fluffy.
