The food was good and decently priced. It was served hot even though I waited 45 minutes for my order. A table behind me waited 40 minutes. There were only two servers and one cook. The servers should have warned the guests, prior to seating them down, of the long wait times. The restaurant wasn't packed but when you have to serve 15 people, that's a lot of people to cook for. The servers looked run down and exhausted. Lord knows when was the last time they had a break to sit down or eat something. When we got to the restaurant the staff was outside. The female told us to sit anywhere and someone would be with us, which we did. After waiting a few minutes we got up and helped ourselves to some menus. A few minutes later the waitress came in and got our order. When it was done she brought it our table. Other than the fact that my wife's green beans were cold, the food was good. Then we waited. She never came back to see if we wanted anything or to offer refills. After a while I saw the waitress go outside. We waited and waited some more. We wanted another stack of pancakes for our grandson and some to- go boxes. After waiting some more I got up and went outside to get her. I assumed she would follow me to the table. Instead she went to the kitchen and we waited some more. Finally she appeared and just dropped off our check and started to walk away. I asked her to hold own and not be in such a hurry to get back to her phone as there were things we needed. She just looked at us and said, "I am just going to walk away" and left. Not wanted to get into a confrontation we left as well. IHOP (or if you are old enough to remember it as International House of Pancakes) is a long-established multinational restaurant chain that started in Los Angeles, California back in 1958. They have become a global empire that was built on creating a fast casual restaurant that, as the name would imply, was created with a strong emphasis on breakfast and pancakes in particular. I honestly do not think that I ever had the pancakes at any IHOP (or if you prefer, International House of Pancakes), I prefer a more savory breakfast instead of a sweet breakfast. The omelettes are not a bad choice. Since I like spicy good, I went with the spicy poblano omelette and it wasn't bad. The food is adequate here. IHOP, like most national chains, is more concerned with creating a consistent product that will taste the same at every location instead of creating truly amazing food. They also want to create a menu that they can easily teach someone without a culinary degree to prepare. All in all, if you are familiar with the IHOP experience, you will get it here. Sadly, this place offends with too young and poorly trained host staff, long waits for cold, lackluster food, and an ambiance and attitude i find repulsive. In their possible defense they appear totally overwhelmed, probably have staffing issues like many other businesses, have to deal with ambiguous gender snowflake sixteen year olds manning their door host station, and a sketchy, ghetto looking clientele i don't want over my shoulder at what should be a relaxing breakfast moment. Upon arrival on a Friday night after the Strawberry Festival, we were seated immediately and our server came to us and got our order very promptly. Everything seemed to look clean and in order, I had no complaints about the restaurant. I wasn't feeling breakfast so I got the chicken tenders with fries and it was good. Open 24-hours, menu selections are 'plentiful,' from the 2-2-2 to hamburger to steak tips (marinated, perfectly cooked to choice and my recent favorite). Seated quickly, staff is friendly, knowledgeable of menu and helpful. Beverages received first within short period followed by the meal within reasonable time. Since moving to this area, this has become a favorite. In comparison to another similar local chain (purposely unnamed), highly recommend IHop for menu, service, servers and overall atmosphere. This IHOP was unsatisfactory. I should've known that when I came in and saw all the people waiting that the service wouldn't be as great. First of all, we had to wait 20 minutes to get seated but, it's IHOP so I said "why not wait?". So, 20 minutes later I get seated and although a server came quite as fast I felt rushed the whole time. You ever get that feeling of anxiety because your being rushed to the max. Well, that's the exact same feeling I got here today. I ordered a shake and usually the shake comes in a tall glass with a separate silver cup that has the leftover shake. But, sadly I was bamboozled and got a short glass with no extra for the same price of how the regular way it always comes. I also ordered a BLT and the appearance of it on the menu and in person are extremely deceiving. The bread is as hard as a rock and dry. I took one bite and I was totally saddened. There was one smear of mayo and I could tell by the knife's edge left on the bread. I won't complain, the blueberry pancakes I ordered were delicious, especially being smothered by the heated syrup. For whoever is reading this, maybe if you come on a day when it's not a holiday or a weekend you'll possibly get better service. But, hey you can't knock it till you try it! read more

So far so good- like this new location already! This is a new location and this is my first time here. The place looks great and the staff had such a great "work attitude." After getting off a 12 hour shift I really needed a good breakfast, so I ordered the steak and tips meal along with the salted caramel (dessert) pancakes. Pancakes were yummy; steak tips were good; mash potato- Not So Much :-( Mash potato was thick and tasted super fake However the hot chocolates (French Toast and regular) that I had were super delicious . Overall the price point for my meal with the exception of the mash potatoes was worth the payment. I never seem to get truly disappointed with the variety of meal options on iHops menus. As I started to eat the burger I envied the table across from me because they had great breakfast selections eggs, pancakes and bacon. My burger was dripping grease lots of grease con my plate. Thankfully I ate my French fries before they were bathed in grease. Did I mention how greasy the burger was. DO NOT GO HERE! It is the filthiest place I have ever walked into. Starting from the moment you touch the front door. Fingerprints all over the glass, door handle dirty. The floors were covered in dirt and stains. I was seated directly in front of the kitchen where the servers pick up, food on the floors and grease stains. Customer service is not served at this IHOP. I came with a group of friends at around 1:30pm on 3/31/19. The person (I believe her name was Rah) who was at the front taking names was the rudest person. We were waiting until she was ready for us to put us on the paper. The way she signaled us that she was ready was with a "come here" hand movement and stank attitude. I asked how long the wait would be and she snapped with "not long". OK what like what is her issue? I understand it being a Sunday it could get busy, but someone who works in the restaurant biz should know this and still have proper customer service. I don't like eating breakfast, never have. So why am I at an IHOP on an extremely busy Saturday morning? Grandkids. They had spent the night for our annual Christmas "Polar Express" night so we decided to treat them to some Christmas pancakes. The place was screaming. Felt like everyone in town was there. However, the wait wasn't too bad. Once seated the waitress came over right away, got our coffee and kids drinks and took our order. I ordered the 2+2+2 breakfast (2eggs, 2pancakes & 2 slices of bacon) the pancakes were small, the eggs were small, the bacon slices were small. I was quite surprised. Coffee was just ok. One grandson had the Grinch breakfast, the other a very big chocolate chip pancake with a whipped cream smiley face. Hubby had an omelet with hash browns which he said were cold. The boys had a blast trying every syrup on the table and nearly ate everything on their plates. Although I wasn't overly impressed with the food, the grandkids loved it and that's what this experience was about. So in that way, it was a success. Appreciate that they're open late night, but they have gotten easily 90% or more of my orders wrong, usually due to missing items. I usually order via Uber Eats. I used their website a couple times when they were offline on Uber, including this last time I ordered. Something was missing as usual. Should have had two sides of hash browns, but only got one. The milkshakes are usually okay but the ones we got last night were disgusting. They were runny and tasted sour. Straight in the trash. $18 for 3 cups of sour milk... Gross. The French toast is good but you can't get it as a combo unless you get meat. There's no way to remove it. There's also no way to order eggs by themselves so all you can do is order French toast with a side of hash browns. There's no way to leave a note with your order on Uber or their website. The poblano omelet is good. Breakfast burrito is good. Hash browns are okay but sometimes the portion is ridiculously small. read more

This newer IHop was a success as soon as the doors opened -- the parking lot filled with cars. However, I thought I would just wait to see how the human traffic materialized over time before trying it myself. Well, the restaurant exceeded my expectations. And, the people just kept coming like they're starving. We chose breakfast on the 55+ menu -- eggs and pancake fare that turned out great at an incredibly reasonable price. The final bill for two persons looked like we ate at McDonalds! No gouging on coffee here. Seniors pay $1 for a cup of coffee. Some of you will just have to wait till you reach 55 (or, just look old). But, reasonable prices exist for younger folks too. I had steam basted eggs (no oil used in cooking), pancakes, and turkey bacon (the 55+ 2x2x2), a fairly healthy breakfast with Smuckers Sugar Free Syrup. The turkey bacon was noteworthy, probably the best rendition of "healthy" bacon I've ever had. The thin, smokey tasting bacon tasted more like thinly sliced ham. Excellent! Full table service was very attentive. Our visit Sunday morning around 8 am was not overly busy, so our wait time was minimal. Several larger groups arrived after us, so it does get very busy Sunday mornings like most breakfast restaurants. Restaurant is modern and clean with plenty of parking.
