That's all I wanted, coffee and pancakes but it seemed to me that my business was too little for them as they took care of another party (4people) whom arrived after me yet they were served food faster. we really wanted Cafe Brazil for breakfast but alas they were closed on Thanksgiving. Decided that the only place that was probably opened was IHOP and I was right. I had not been to an IHOP in 10 years and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. They had your basic breakfast foods, eggs, ham, bacon and sausage. Turkey bacon if you so desire. They currently have a "holiday" promotion with pancakes. I ordered pumpkin pancakes which were delicious. They actually came with candied pecans and a caramel drizzle but I decided have them plain. Poured some butter pecan syrup and they were great. The eggs were fine, I did not care for the hash browns, I'm not a fan but my husband enjoyed his on his breakfast sampler. That's eggs, hash browns, and every pork breakfast product you like. Coffee, holiday hot cake combo and breakfast sampler was $19.00. The best thing was our server Jerral. He was friendly and efficient. Never thought I'd eat at an IHOP, and I am not ready to leave Cafe Brazil, but the perfectly cooked pumpkin pancakes are worth another visit! read more

If you like IHOP restaurants, then I suggest going here and asking to be seated in Jerral's (#2018) section. One of the best servers I have ever had -- worthy of much more high-class restaurants. He was very personable and attentive without being a pest. I'd give the restaurant 5 stars if it weren't for the frequently horrendous parking -- but evidently people are willing to endure the crowded parking. read more

I haven't been to ihop in a long while, and when we decided to go eat there today; I definitely won't be back. The food resembles cafeteria food, it comes out cold, we had to send back an order of eggs thay we specified the doneness to the waitress and overall just isn't good. There are much better restaurants that have better quality and better pricing. read more

This location is always packed on weekends, what breakfast place isn't....however the staff is always friendly. I usually call in my order as my work "week" is on the weekends & they always get it right, give me all appropriate condiments, are friendly/competent & get me in and out fast! One bad thing is the parking lot is tiny. There is a street right behind them that's available though. So you can "work off" the pancakes with a short walk. read more

Do not go to this restaurant! I brought my mom and brother to this location and the long bench to sit and wait was completely full as well as a group of people by the doorway standing waiting to be called for their tables. Before we went up to put our name a family was called which cleared up space for my mom, brother and I to sit. There was even enough space for on more person to sit . When the host came back to get our name and number, she told us we had to go outside or in our car to wait for a text. I understand we're in a pandemic, but what I didn't understand was why we (Mexican family) were the ONLY ones to be told this. Everyone else was Caucasian except for one other Hispanic family in the corner that seemed to have been waiting for a while too. If anything, why had the group STANDING by the doorway not been told to wait outside instead?? I asked the worker why we were the only ones to be told this and asked if the family that had just been sat had been told the same thing? All the worker could say was that she has too many people in the restaurant. Never answered my question. I understand there are precautions in place for our safety, but my issue is that it should not be pick and choose who you want to stay. Make the precaution to where EVERYONE should wait in their car. Don't make it seem like you're only saying it to the Mexican family because then that looks racist. read more

I am a frequent flyer of IHOP but this was my first visit to this location I have to say that my service tonight was the most memorable experience I've had at any IHOP. We arrived at 10 pm and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Kim, greeted us and took drink orders just after we sat down. She made us feel so welcome. She came back quickly with our drinks and took our order - 2 classic burgers with fries. The food came to our table after just a few minutes and was hot and delicious when it arrived, prepared exactly as we ordered. Kim checked on us a couple of times then when she brought us our check at the end of our meal, she brought me a fresh drink in a "to go" cup. That was a nice touch and I felt that she took pride in her work and went to extra lengths to make sure her customers knew she cared. She smiled, made eye contact with us throughout our meal and as we were getting up from our table to leave she came over to thank us for coming and wished us a happy new year. It was sincere and genuine! This location is older and much smaller than most IHOPs I frequent but the service here far exceeded the service at any other IHOP I've ever visited. The food was better than expected, probably because it was hot when we got it and it was exactly as we requested. The only drawback is that this location is about 45 miles from my house. Whether I venture over to Richardson again or not, this visit will be a happy memory for a long, long time. read more

So I went to eat here with my wife kids and sister and ordered the fish and chips. My sister and wife ordered breakfast, from what they say the breakfast was good as you would expect not great but good the served was nice but the fish I got was hoorible, very overcooked, over fried, and bland. read more

Came here a week ago for lunch, ordered a burger with fries, got my plate and had 4 black thin hairs on it, and they was one there took it out, the waiters were rushing up and down so I think her hairs kept falling and into my plate. Pretty gross. They need to make these ladies wear hairnets while serving customers. read more

I have been eating at IHOP since 1961. Always loved their breakfast. When our granddaughter came over for a week, one place she requested we eat was our local IHOP for breakfast. I was so disappointed with the hash browns because the grease tasted old. The ham tasted the same way. This also happened in March of this year - grease was terrible. I am hoping the next time we go the results will be improved. read more

This is the best IHOP in the area! We will go out of our way to have breakfast here. The staff in great, and the food, while still IHOP food, is always done right. We love the harvest grain and nut and the double blueberry pancakes. The bacons always cooked right (done, but not crunchy) and the hash browns aren't greasy. It's small, so there can be a wait at peak times, but there's a reason that the place is always busy! read more

Went here during Ramadan at 4:21am for starting my fast. First of all, everyone knew it was the month of Ramadan and Justin did an outstanding job of getting my food to me in under 5min...wow!!! I visited this ihop today and it was truly the most traumatic experience i have EVER had in a restaurant. After waiting more than 40 minuets to be seated, we decided to place an order to go hoping it might be better due to the sunday brunch crowd. We placed our order and were told it would take 15 minutes, after about 20 minutes my sis asked if our order was ready (because 2 other patrons had been served before us) we were VERY rudely informed by Lisa that said order was going to take a while because of the items ordered. I have NEVER EVER played the race card cos i believe we are all the human race and the color of our skin doesn't determine our character but i was proved wrong by Lisa today, she was not only rude to my sister and i, she was constantly attending to another patron who was caucasian answering her questions enthusiastically while ignoring us. She had the audacity to whisper to another colleague that there was nothing she could do to help because "they ordered what they ordered" right there in front of us. The whole time she was turned away from us and basically ignoring us. The food finally arrived; after we had been there for a total of 1 hr and 10 minutes and she just dumps it on the table... says all orders are in separate bags and turns her back on us. I had seen her smile and make conversation with 2 separate caucasians who had come to pick up to go orders but i guess we not being of the caucasian persuasion, were not fit for proper service by Lisa. While i don't blame the management for the behavior of the staff; i believe for the sake of the organization,staff should be properly trained in customer services especially those in contact with patrons of the organization. The food was terrible and i did throw mine out partly due to the horrible treatment and the presentation of the meal. I understand they were busy but if i was patient enough to sit in a crowded lobby for more than an hour the very least i would expect is hot fries with my sandwich ( yes i know who goes to a pancake place and orders a sandwich). My review would be below 5 if there was such a rating, i will NEVER return to this particular restaurant. NEVER EVER i do hope management looks into proper training of their customer facing staff especially if said customers have waited patiently to get served. read more
